LEE LUMBER & BUILDING MATERIAL

I recently had an issue with my Marvin door and thought I needed to replace the lock box. When the Locksmith returned once the part arrived, he was able to salvage the existing one. I tried to return the $154 part to Lee Lumber and was told that they do not accept returns for parts. Not only that, the salesperson, Norma, was extremely rude in her demeanor and showed zero compassion for the situation. Her reaction is what is causing me to write the review as she seemed almost pleased to tell me I was stuck with a worthless part I did not need. I work in a service business and understand the need for policies but I also recognize that how you handle situations like this dictate how a customer will respond. The unwillingness to even attempt to make me happy or mitigate the situation showed a complete lack of customer service on her part. Needless to say, there are many choices when it comes to windows and doors, I would encourage you to look elsewhere as Lee does not seem remotely concerned with maintaining customer satisfaction.
