Lakeview Maids - House Cleaning Service

Showed up 2 1/2 hrs late then demanded more money on the spot- this was a move out cleaning and it was the last day of our lease. After they had not shown up on time or responded to any calls or emails, I tried to find another cleaner but no one was available on such short notice, so we had no choice but to give them the extra $100 which they justified by saying our 1 bed was "too big" and was "extra dirty". Then they insulted us while they cleaned. Horrible experience. I would not use them ever again under any circumstance. They didn't even do a good job- we're going back to clean the oven.

BUYER BEWARE: This company stole $280 from me. I scheduled a cleaning with them and paid via Zelle when they said they were on their way, as they requested. But they never showed up. That was 10 days ago, and I have not received my money back. My request for a refund was at first met with hostility, then an apology and a promise a check was in the mail (because they were having problems with Zelle). When that check didn't arrive after a week, I was promised they would drop a check at my house; when that didn't happen, I was promised cash. When no one showed up and I inquired again, I received a barrage of more hostile texts that insisted that I was the one who had cancelled the cleaning service, and that they had no obligation to return any money to me. It was foolish of me to pay in advance, but this was going to be my second time using this company. There were red flags the first time that I should have paid more attention to (late arrival, they had to leave in the middle of the job and return another day to finish, an upcharge because our tenants had left the apartment dirtier than they said they anticipated). Now that I read the other poor reviews, I see many other people have had similar experiences. Hopefully my mistake will help other people to avoid this company. Look elsewhere.
