Our furnace had went out during those below zero cold days. It was a Sunday and I wasn’t too sure if anyone would be able to come look at it. But they did! Within an hour Beto was here within an hour and fixed our furnace. Thank goodness too because we would have froze. We have used La Costa Appliance Repair in the past for our washer. We highly recommend them! Very professional, trustworthy and excellent service. They take very good care of their customers.

Gilberto was great! Next-day appointment, punctual, courteous -- and came with the parts he *might* need, which he ended up needing. Assessed my fridge's ice maker, replaced it in a few minutes while carrying on a friendly conversation -- I wasn't even aware he had changed it! I'd definitely hire him again if something needs fixing, and will definitely recommend him. And he was willing to make the trip from the south side to Rogers Park, which was above and beyond. Plus, his rate for the service call itself (without parts needed) was WAY below what most people charge, which was great. Thanks, Gilberto! Or as they say in Latin, "gratias tibi ago." :)

Gilbert was my 3rd try and fortunately he was only a short ways away. He came but couldn't diagnose the problem immediately because of the erratic behavior of the refrigerator. He said he would come back the following morning and when he arrived he just touched the control unit and that was the problem. He went and purchased a new part and I am now a happy customer. All of this in about an hour. Gilbert is a very nice young man. Courteous and is very reasonable in pricing. I will be using him again and will recommend him to all my friends and neighbors.

Not well. Not sure if it's because we live in a condo downtown or that I went online and found various parts that could be the problem and shared them via text. Next day, I texted to see if they had come up with an option for repairing and received a text back stating, "Ill pass, am pretty sure u need a new door" I guess the job wasn't big enough.

15 year old dryer failed. After finding out how simple they were as machines, I had bought a new motor and some other parts to install myself. Got stuck on removing the old motor - would not come out without destroying the blower wheel, which meant turning off gas. Not comfortable with that, called La Costa and they came out same day (since i had motor; he had a blower wheel on the truck). Fast, efficient service!
