Refrigerator stopped cooling
Description of Work: Gilberto was great he came the same day I called. His rates are very good and he was gone within an hour. Not like the typical repair man who’s trying to overcharge you. He replaced a defroster thermostat and checked to see that I had adequate cooling. I’ll be calling him again if I have issues with any other appliances.

Mr. Gomez was very quick to respond with a quote when I first contacted him. As soon as the part was in stock he contacted me right away and came out that day. He repaired the glass quickly and efficiently at a very fair price. Before and after pics provided. We have used him in the past to repair washer/dryer as well. Will continue to use in the future. Highly recommend!

La Costa appliances were very professional, they went above and beyond the job at hand. Our motor had gone bad. They not only changed the motor, but also cleaned the dryer and redid the vent setup.,all in the same fixed cost. They seem to be determined to get the job done right. I'll definitely use them for my future projects as needed

Beto called before he arrived, and he was right on time. He found the problem within a few minutes, told me exactly how much it would cost to repair, went out to get the parts and came back within 30 minutes. He showed me the worn bearing, told me the belt was in excellent shape, and that the motor needed to be replaced. He cleaned out the accumulated lint from inside the dryer, replaced the bearing and motor, and left the old parts, which we could clearly see were seriously worn. The dryer works now! We are very happy with the result, and with Beto's professionalism and courtesy.

We were very satisfied with La costa service, the guy Beto came and quick diagnosed the problem, ordered a part and fixed the problem in an hour. We paid after work was done, which is not usually what the other company do, we had before the guy from the fix it guy Chicago company and he couldn't fix the dryer! So we are very happy with Beto service, he is very responsible and professional! Highly recommended!!!

It could not have gone better. He was very responsive and able to come at my earliest convenience as well as work with my short time intervals I had. He was punctual and polite and professional. He diagnosed the problem within minutes as it was a fuse that went out as well as it needed a good cleaning. He gave a very fair price and completed the work in perfect time. I am very happy with his work. I would absolutely hire him again and I will refer him whenever anyone needs dryer/washer repair.
Description of Work: I needed repair work on my Samsung dryer as the drum wouldn't work. Everyone was telling me that I needed a new fan belts. I actually had an appointment with Sears the very day but canceled after seeing Mr. Gomez's business on Angie's list.

I happened upon this company while walking down the street one day after my washer stopped working and was dissatisfied with the dealers' plans and price for fixing. I walked into shop and told my woes. The owner offered to send someone out for $30 (as opposed to $200 from dealer). I have been working with owner's son Beto Gomez ever since. Always reasonable price, good service, knowledgeable, helpful.
Description of Work: I have used this service several times, most recently to fix venting for my clothes dryer. I have also used to fix washer and to fix dryer and to clean coils of fridge. My dryer was vented in a usable but not up to code way with long coil and tape. The tape had become undone and I needed help fixing. Beto came out within an hour, but was unable to retape due to old (out of code) hose going out. We decided best to get up to code with new (closer) vent and metal, flexible hosing. Beto came back next day, made hole for vent and put in vent and attached hose in way that is up to code. I felt relieved.
