He came on time, brought everything he needed to view what he needed to view. I didn't know what to expect since I've never had a home inspection before, but he was friendly and understanding of my situation, and very well versed in what to look for. He found some issues with our home that 2 roofers couldn't figure out, so I'd say the guy did an EXCELLENT job!

Roland with Kerfin Inspectors came out to inspect my wife and I's potential first home this past Friday. Let me tell you, he was the most informative, friendly, and detailed inspectors I have come across. Not only did he provide insight into what he was inspecting, he walked my wife and I through our appliances, giving us the ins and outs on their ages, functions and part descriptions. Roland found several glaring issues with our property both in the attic and crawl space. It took him a little over 2 hours to complete the inspection and we had a full report by that same evening. I would recommend Kerfin to any home buyer, either first time or experienced. They were friendly, quick to set up an appointment (3 days notice), and reasonably priced. Our real estate agent even asked for their business card as she could not believe how great their inspection was!!!!!! Thanks again for the help and inspection.

I needed a full house inspection for a new house that I wanted to purchase. Tim had previously inspected my older house so I immediately called him and he promptly scheduled me an appointment. Tim was very professional as always and conducted a thorough inspection of the house and all was well.

Heard about Kerfin Inspections through our realtor, and checked Angie's List to read any reviews. He has many great reviews and even offered a deal, $300 for inspection, mold inspection, and thermal imaging. The day of the inspection our area had a bad snow storm. Tim called a few hours before our appointment to notify us he was stuck in really bad traffic, but would try to be at the house on time. Thankfully he made it through the traffic and arrived on time; we appreciated his responsiveness and communication. He first asked us if we had any major concerns with the house before he started his routine inspection. Our major concern was with the roof, so that's where he started. He encouraged us to follow him up into the attic; he explained everything in detail and answered any questions we had. The rest of the inspection was pretty routine, basement, exterior, outlets, etc. Tim seemed very detailed in his inspection; ensuring everything worked and functioned properly (running the washer, dryer, dishwasher). At the end of the inspection Tim let us know that he would go through the inspection report one more time and send us a copy (complete with photos). He didn't do the thermal imaging, but I'm okay with that - it would have just been an added bonus.

It went very well, I thought the cost was more than fair and Russ new his stuff. The only bad thing is that we found a little bit of mold in my basement! Glad I caught it when I did.

Tim did a very thorough and detailed inspection of a home I am looking at purchasing. He was extremely knowledgeable & helpful, not to mention responsive. We scheduled him to be there quickly & I got a detailed report the next day as promised. As a full time rehabber I really appreciate the attention to even the smallest details. The experience could not have been better. Because of a heavy snowfall he couldn't fully inspect the roof, so he offered to come back the minute the snow melts. I plan to use him again & refer him to other rehabbers & home buyers as well. I wish I'd have hired him on previous projects.

Tim and his son came in and mold remediated our attic. It took them about 2 hours. I originally thought that it was going to take all day but it was fast and easy. He showed me all the products that he was using and what each of them did. That made me feel way more comfortable because I have zero knowledge about mold. My brother came and checked the work because my lack of knowledge of doing the job correctly. From what my brother said he did clean work and covered everything that should have been. I would recommend them to family for sure. I also received the certificate saying that it was taken care of.

It went very good. My husband and I were very worried about the specific house that we ended up buying. We thought that it was very informative and definitely needed to move forward. It was very fast! Tim sent out his guy named Roland and did a phenomenal job. My new apartment came up problem free and Roland said it was up to date except a few minor things that me and my husband fixed within the next week. The inspection took about an hour and I personally thought it was priced well. I already recommended him to my friend who is buying her first home! Great service!

At first I thought this was going to be a big ordeal but it only lasted for about 2 hours. Tim had the termite inspector come out and do the termite inspection while Time was doing the actual home inspection. Lot less stress than me calling the inspector and setting a different day for the termite inspector to come out, killed two birds with one stone which I thoroughly appreciated. For the home inspection itself, Tim made it painless, got in and got out, explained what needed to be done and sent me the report over the following day. It was very nice and easy. I give them an A.

I called Kerfin Inspections to get a quote on a home inspection for a property we were purchasing. It was close to the holidays and wasn't sure if they would answer or get back to me as I had already called a few with no response. To my surprise before I could got off the phone with the answering machine my phone started to ring and it was Tim (Kerfin Inspections Owner). He was polite & professional, he asked me a few questions about the property, gave a me a quote, and we scheduled our appointment. (Which he was very flexible with). He met with us that very next Monday, when we pulled up he was already waiting. We talked for a few minutes and told us he was already looking around the property a little and pointed out a few things. The Realtor got there a few minutes later and let us in. Tim went straight to work and about hour later he was done. I was expecting him to say he would have to get back to us with a inspection report, but he had everything right there and even had a small printer which he used to print the report. The report was very detailed and easy to understand, there was some major issues with the property which he had noted. We did not purchase the property but we were okay with that as I am not sure if we would have even noticed these issues if we didn't get the inspection. Hopefully we will soon find our dream home and will definitely use him again.

Found out that I had mold in my crawlspace so I called Kerfin Inspections and Tim and his son came to take care of it. We have a really small crawlspace and I couldn't go down to see what the the job looked like so Tim took before and after pictures and showed me the pictures right when he was done and he also sent them with the certificate of the job. They came in and did the job and after the service they left everything just the way I had it. They were great and do VERY clean work.

It went very well, as always, Tim and his company had a high level of professionalism and punctuality. The work was top quality and I am now sure that my house is properly inspected and certified!
