John Hutchins, Kent Kitchens owner, is a delight! He is so easy to work with because he seems to care most about his clients wishes and the success of the project. John readily met with us several times on the design of our kitchen remodel. During the project, he responded to calls and messages immediately, created a schedule that fit our needs, and suggested ideas and advice that were always on target. He offered practical and creative solutions to achieve the ideal design for a galley kitchen space that has one unique curved corner wall. Johns wealth of knowledge, experience, and resources allowed us to work well within our budget using high-quality materials. His principal contractor, Martino Ortiz, was not only a joy to work with but also a skilled technician and craftsman in all aspects of the project. The 20-year-old outdated kitchen was completely demolished down to the wall boards. Johns recommended vendors offered reasonably priced counter top stone, cabinetry, and flooring for the value. The new kitchen is sleek and modern and enhances the value of our condo tremendously. I recommend John highly for any type of design and remodeling work and would not hesitate to engage Kent Kitchens again for future projects.

John made good recommendations which resulted in different work being done that was comparable in price but a better upgrade. He has also provided recommendations for other services which he does not perform.

John exceeded our expectations, giving us a beautiful and functional kitchen within our budget. His crew, lead by Marek, was extremely professional and respectful of my home. Marek kept his word and stayed on schedule. The workmanship and attention to detail is top quality! I could not be happier with my new kitchen!

John was good to work with and as a single woman treated me with respect. He did a good job, was on time and did the work at a fair price. His subcontractor Martino Ortiz was very skilled and did a great job. It would have helped if they had given me project price updates along the way as changes were made. Sometimes communication about details of the project could have been better. You will need to ask for details about the project. John helped me pick out tile and granite that I love living with. Overall I was satisfied with the work done on the project and love my new kitchen.

John and his crew were very easy to work with. They did a great job, were consistently on time and even though replacing a kitchen is a messy job, they kept the construction dirt in the kitchen area and cleaned up on completion. I now love my kitchen and would hire them again without hesitation.

We hired Kent Kitchens to do a remodel that included lighting and floor work, and we are thrilled with the results. The right design choice was important because our condo isn't large, and John was able to give us more storage, more usable space, and a much more open look. The cabinets look nice - there's a little store display in the area you can go to see what the different types look like - but value is what you get for your money. Price came in very, very reasonable, and because John thought through the process very thoroughly, it didn't change very much from the original estimate to the final.

Jon will not even check on the house. The team will work part5 time about 20 hours a week which is why it takes long. They lie about what is done and talk down to customers....if you want to hire lying lazy disrespecrful contractors they are for you. Quality6 is good but be wary...he has dealer relationships with mfgs..your bid will include cabinets and countertops hard to compare with others.

I love my new kitchen!! My friends love my new kitchen. It came out nicer than I ever expected. I choose white cabinets, carera marble quartz counter tops and cracked glass and marble backsplash. John made recommendations that were right on the cutting edge of style. His responses to my texts were always quick and he consistently followed through with my requests. He has a fabulous installation team. They took great care of my almost new walnut floor. They cleaned up every day. Because I had purchased my cabinet hardware and had my tile, the project was completed in less time than I expected--A lot less time. As with any project where old "stuff" is being removed, there is going to be dust. They used large sheets of plastic to block the doorways, but dust just gets through, no matter what we do. I very highly recommend Kent Kitchens--quality work with a very fair price.

I recently had my kitchen remodeled by Kent Kitchens, Inc. This is the first time I have had a job of this magnitude done in my home. Needless to say, I was more than a bit nervous about who to hire for the job. I went to HomeAdvisor.com for recommendations. After reading many reviews, I decided to contact John at Kent Kitchens. I am so glad I did!! Steve was the contractor that did the work. He is probably the hardest working individual I have ever known. He did beautiful work and even made a few suggestions for changes that I thought made a lot of sense. I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you John and Steve for my beautiful new kitchen.

We wanted to renovate our kitchen and met with several contractors to get quotes on the job. We were almost talked into services we really didn't want but then we met with Kent Kitchens. John told us that we could get what we wanted and even made some suggestions we hadn't considered. The work was done sooner than estimated and Martino did an excellent job of keeping everything as organized and clean as possible. There was virtually no disruption to our everyday routine (other than the obvious not being able to use the kitchen while work was being done). I had heard horror stories about renovations and was really nervous about what we would experience but working with Kent Kitchens has been a wonderful experience. I'm already thinking about having them come back to do our bathrooms!

I hired Kent to reface my kitchen cabinets. The project was completed on time and I am completely satisfied with the new cabinets and the professionalism of the staff. I look forward to working with Kent on future projects.

As a first-time homeowner, I had virtually no experience working with contractors and was initially very anxious about my kitchen remodel. After getting estimates from Sears and Kent Kitchens, I chose Kent because the owner was able to work with my admittedly vague ideas of what I wanted my kitchen to look like. I was working with a small area and had some serious dead cabinet space that needed to be addressed. John provided excellent solutions to my problems and was flexible with my budget. When I requested changes to lower my costs, I received the new estimate in less than 24 hours. We ran into a snag when the cabinets were installed - there was a huge light fixture that hung down and actually prevented one of the cabinet doors from opening all the way. Light fixtures had not been included in our original quote, but as soon as John pointed out the problem, he worked with me on selecting a recessed lighting option and installed it free of charge. The chandelier over our dining table had also been out for some time due to a faulty dimmer switch. I meant to bring it up and have it added to the job but forgot about it until I came home one day about a week into the project and found it had been fixed. John was easy to contact, friendly and professional. The people who did the actual renovation were prompt, communicative about staying on the project timeline, and got along famously with my dog. I have no regrets about hiring Kent and no hesitations about using them for future projects.

We hired Kent to do a kitchen remodel. We had new cabinets installed as well as countertops. They also installed appliances as well as new light fixtures. The cabinet quality is very good. Marek was our installer. He was very pleasant to work with. He was always on time and cleaned up daily to our satisfaction. I would recommend Kent for your kitchen remodeling needs.

John and his crew did an excellent job, real pros! My kitchen is gorgeous! The job I was dreading turned out to be painless thanks to John's experience and that of his men. During the initial consultation John offered a lot of good ideas and his pricing was right in line with other bids we received however I felt he went beyond the others when he provided a digital rendering which showed us what our completed kitchen would look like, this was very helpful versus looking at a one dimensional drawing. The job was organized and proceeded as such, every night when they were done working everything was neat and clean, no mess. Communication with John was immediate, calls were always taken, emails and texts were returned literally within minutes. I would absolutely use John and Kent Kitchens again and I highly recommend them.
