Description of Work: Marissa from Kemora Landscapes came to our hose and patiently listened to our garden vision and our concerns. She drew up plans clearly so we could follow them ourselves. When asked for an estimate for the work, it was sent to us quickly as a line item estimate. Marissa told us we could contract for all or some of the work. After a phone call for clarification, we have contracted with Kemora for work to be completed in June. We are looking forward to the completed project!

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's List Deal for pre-winter lawn and garden cleaning. The crew came right on time and left the place ready for cold weather.

Description of Work: A two man crew came to do a special offer fall clean-up of my back yard and front yard. They cut down the many perennials, trimmed all of the bushes, and cleaned up the garden beds around my house. They mentioned that this is not the service their company normally provides, but they did a good job. |

Description of Work: I purchased the Angie's List deal to have a garden consultation and design plan for $55. The scheduling office contacted me immediately, and set up an appointment within two weeks. Marisa arrived promptly on the scheduled day, and listened to what I am looking to accomplish in my back yard, taking into account existing plant material, desired additional plant material, and entertaining needs. She sent me a digital image of the plan we discussed the following week, as well as a broken down quote should I wish to hire Kemora to undertake some or all of the work. All in all, a very good experience. I've also hired them to do seasonal maintenance at my boss's home next year, based on good reviews on Angie's List.

Description of Work: I got this as an Angie's List deal. I'm only dropping down their professionalism and punctuality scores because they did not notify me when they arrived nor when they departed as I stayed home the entire day for this. As a result, there was one small tree in the front they needed to be cut that wasn't. Otherwise, I would have given them A's across the board for the leaf and debris cleanup.

Description of Work: Created landscape plan. Provided estimate. Revised estimate to budget some of the work in the fall, the balance next spring. Have scheduled fall cleanup.

Description of Work: I spoke to a very professional person asking to book my appoinment. She said they would call me back. The next day I received a call from the same person who advised me they do not service my area and she offered to obtain the refund for me. When I looked the co. up on Google it was clear they did not service the western suburbs of Chicago. Since this was my first Big Deal purchase I inadvertently skipped the google search step. They were a pleasure to deal with even though I was disappointed.

Description of Work: They were to clean up the yard and weed the garden. They came with 3 people, 2 rakes and a blower. From 9-10 they blew the yard and one guy made a ridge around my garden. Then from 10-10:30 they talked in my backyard. Then they left. I called and explained and was told that 3 guys equalled my 4 hours. 2 phone calls later they sent 2 guys back, one tilled my garden and the other raked the lawn. The guy rakeing the lawn kept stopping to fix his rake. and the guy tilling the garden unearthed some plants. they left after 1/2 hour as they were told by the business to do. The yard still wasn't raked. My sister and I worked on the yard raking and weeding the garden and got 2 more bags of refuse. Apparently once the truck is full they can't do anything else. It was very frustrating and not worth the hassel.

Description of Work: Kemora left me a message letting me know they would not be able to service my mom's home (her residential area of Chicago was not covered in the deal - although that was not made clear to me when I purchased the deal). I called back and they explained once again; were very nice about it.

Description of Work: Great experience to have a drawing of both my front and rear new landscape ideas from this company, it was much more then I could imagine. I will work in the future with this company.

Description of Work: I contracted with Kemora to shovel snow for a two flat and a house. At the two flat they were unable to open an unlocked gate ( that thier other crew had opened) and left the rear of the builing completely snowed in and didi not notify me. This later turned to solid ice. When I emailed my concerns I recieved an apology and no action. My wife and I had to clear the thick ice from the backyard that had not been done by Kemora. a week or so later when they had not shoveled either building by 1PM after a 4" snowfall I cancelled my contract. They are pleasant enough but do not have thier act together when it comes to shoveling.

Description of Work: I had them do a design for the front of my condo building. The design was nice but the price was outrageous. I reallly did not find them to be very interested in doing the design. I might try to give them another try before I totally write them off. I know you have the design service promotions.

Description of Work: They did a Fall cleanup on my yard...removed perrenials, raked leaves, removed debris from bushes, etc. They were very efficient and friendly workers and did all the work I asked for. If I use them again, I would like them to arrive at the scheduled time. The person scheduling for this company needs to do a better job in setting a schedule for the day that is both timely and efficient.
