Description of Work: Kemora's crew moved an entire backyard of perennials around so that they were in the right places after I lost a tree. They also planted shrub and trees and spread compost. They are efficient, professional, had good suggestions, and in every way were terrific.

Description of Work: We received an excellent design from Kemora, but unfortunately found their total cost for the work to be significantly higher than competitor landscapers - otherwise we would have happily worked with them.

Description of Work: When they finally came to an appointment, we told them a budget which they did NOT adhere to and they gave us a piece of paper with pencil squiggles on it. I would think they'd at least give us a computer rendering that anyone can do on cheap software, let alone a "professional". Total WASTE of money.

Description of Work: I purchased a landscaping design offer from Kemora. Marisa (the owner) came bu as scheduled and ended up producing a drawing for the front of my property. She talked to me about different possibilities, and those things I may want to try to do on my own. I ended up paying her firm to do the heavy work and I will do the planting. She was very easy to work with and her design ideas were good. She was willing to do just the part of the job I needed doing. She is also an enthusiast for what she does and has been doing it since she was a teenager. The crew that did the work did a very thorough job and cleaned up nicely when done.

Description of Work: They came and provided me with a small landscaping consultation. The consultation went well but I decided against moving forward with the project.

Description of Work: Unfortunately, they took too long to locate the type of grass that we had requested which meant that they had to lay down grass of a lesser quality. Furthermore, they laid the sod a few days prior to a party which was inconvenient since no one could walk on the grass at that time.

Description of Work: They cleaned out a section of a back yard and replanted and then also came back to clean up the front yard.

Description of Work: We had them landscape our front yard which was a mud pit following a roofing project. They (were supposed to) install new soak hoses in front yard and put new ones through to the boulevard. They kept our old hoses out front (though I was charged for new ones), and they did run new ones under the sidewalk, which has been great. They installed artificial turf in our backyard. In addition, they supplied 3 planters (they were supposed to install 6), with water and plants on our garage deck. | |They could only get 3 of the 6 planters, so they installed the 3 and were supposed to come back in August with the other 3. They never called. In addition, there were issues with leaking joints in our watering system leading to issues with our brick and mortar. I emailed and never heard back. In addition, we had to put tarps under the 3 planters as it was damaging the brick on our garage. I also wrote about that and never heard back. | |We have neighbors who love them. Our designer, Marissa, is also the owner. I think that she is too busy to respond to issues. And I was promised a quote in 3 weeks. I had to keep emailing after 3 weeks to get our quote. Our neighbors have had other designers and have had much better response, outcomes and service.

Description of Work: I purchased the $49 landscaping consult from Angieslist for our small front yard. The consultant came on time and was very nice. She appeared to listen to our concerns and gave us some good suggestions about plants to install. However, when we got the drawing proposal back from them, it was not really what we discussed. Moreover, they never provided us with a quote. | |They were very nice people, but I was underwhelmed by the service they provided. I did not follow up with them because we didn't want to have them go back to the drawing board on a proposal, and we decided to go with another landscaping company that better understood what we wanted.

Description of Work: After they gave us a preliminary (Angie's list)sketch for our front and back yards, we hired them to draw-up a more detailed plan. We decided to proceed with the front yard and do the back next spring. The installation was great - a nice variety of bushes and plants per our request. They were very professional and the quality seems good. It was easy to communicate with the office manager (DeAnna) it was harder to communicate with Marisa but I wouldn't let this relatively minor issue prevent using Kemora. They are talented and the price was reasonable.
