Everything went well; in fact, workers arrived a bit early and worked fast and efficiently. Have time remainding on account for another date. Office was very pleasant and quickly returned calls and emails. Will definitely use again.

The job was well done, the crew was on time and even filled in the hole where the cherry tree was and used the grass cut from the new edge to fill in the bare spot! It looks great, love the river birch that Marisa chose for us. The cherry tree looks great in its new location - still in the front yard too! Marisa came and directed the placement of the new plants and it was done within about 3-4 hours. Can't wait to see how it will look next spring and summer! We will definitely have them come back and finish the other half of our front yard next spring. Nice work!

I ordered the BIg Deal in order to do a little maintenance in my yard. The crew was friendly, courteous and diligent. Our property looks 100 times better as a result. The team was a bit late for their appointment, but I was notified a few hours in advance that they may be late, so it wasn't a problem. Overall, I would certainly use this company again.

From the time I purchased the deal the communication was wonderful. I received and email the same morning. I had my services chosen and a date/time scheduled via email the same day. The crew came on time and after checking in with me immediately began to work. They accomplished everything I asked and more. I could not be happier! I will be using Kemora Landscape again without hesitation

My appointment was for 9:00am, a three man crew arrived at 8:50. After reviewing the work to be done they immediately got to work. Until they started using the blower to clean up I could hardly tell they were there, they worked almost silently. I only spoke with two of the crew and they were both polite, friendly, and they both offered suggestions regarding shaping of my shrubs. By 10:25 they were finished and packed up and saying good-bye. This was a treat for me to engage some help for fall clean-up and this was a terrific experience. I will probably call them in the spring for post-winter clean up and maybe even for some help landscaping at the front of the house.

Late on a Friday afternoon before I even purchased the Big Deal, I reached out to Kamora Landscaping to find out the soonest they could perform the service. In an email I described the job and my need to get it done as soon as possible. Kamora had a crew at my house at 8:15 on Monday morning who listened to my explanation of what I wanted done and were left to complete the work as I left for the office. I came home and was so pleased to see everything done perfectly, all the yard waste taken away and the gate tightly secured. I highly recommend this company without reservation.

The owner came and looked at our front yard. She gave me some great ideas and came up with a plan for new flower beds and suggeseted plants for the yard.

She did a great design and I liked her ideas. Unfortunately I've been very sick, was forced to take an early retirement so I just can't swing it at this time.

Kemora took our backyard, which was not very attractive and not comfortable to enjoy and designed a space that looks gorgeous and is very easy to use. In fact, we spent much of the summer in our backyard. They are a small company and i believe their business has exploded in the last year or so due to the incredible work they do. If you don't get a call back right away, be patient or just call again -- they are worth the wait (and i promise, it won't be too long a wait). They also have a maintenance crew and were very reasonably priced. We liked them so much for landscaping, we had them do some maintenance in our front yard and again we were pleased. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend

I purchased a coupon online from Kemora Landscape for a consultation and sketch. I was looking for some ideas on how to screen a concrete parking pad in my backyard. Not knowing too much about plants and the like was the reason I purchased the coupon. The initial visit went well and I have to admit I was a little indecisive about what I wanted. I did promptly receive an estimate (although I never got a sketch) and decided I wanted to make a few changes and requested a new quote taking the changes into account. I was told they were now very busy and never heard from them again. I'm willing to take the heat for being unsure of what I wanted but was very disappointed that I was totally blown off when I requested a new quote. I did not use the services of Kemora Landscape design..

The job was well planned and supervised, and the workers were friendly and diligent...I am delighted with the result!

They did a great job. We have had some issues with the lawn since but I do not know if they are related to their service; it may just be our soil. I need to follow up with them and I have not. They are not even aware of anything so this is no strike against them; it is just a potential issue. We were happy with their service. The owner was very knowledgeable and I was pleased when her estimate came back very competitive because I was most impressed with her, the owner, and the professionalism of the company. When they did the work the cleanup was extremely thorough; I think they raked spots that we had never raked and we have been living in the house for 5 years so we were really happy with that. The installation of the yards looked beautiful but I do not know what is going on with the lawn now although I do not think they are to blame. We will be following up with them to see if they have any input into what is going on with the grass.

I was happy with how the sketches turned out and will hire them for the execution.

I have never been as impressed with a company as I was with Kemora. It started with a great design (Marissa is awesome) and ended when they made sure the project would survive by adding in the needed sprinkler system. Everyone - from Marissa to Colleen to Gina - was professional. They answered all my questions and handled all my concerns. Given their ability to deliver, I have engaged Kemora to come out twice a year to maintain my beautiful landscape. I would HIGHLY recommend Kemora.

Marisa was completely professional and put together a fantastic design utilizing some of my existing plants in an effort to keep costs down. The guys doing the work were completely professional and punctual. However, they did take some liberties in the installation of the walkway outside of the design and I did have to have them come back the next day to fix it. But, Marisa completely supported the fix and had them there right away to make the necessary changes. Given the desperately hot summer, I've had a few plants that have not survived, even with diligent watering, and Kemora has been fantastic about replacing them upon inspection. I will definitely work with them again in the future and would recommend.

Great experience. Marisa visited to review space and our needs, created the design shortly thereafter, and responded to my questions about the plants and pavers. Once I said go it was easy to schedule, and really pleasant staff came to install--they spent a lot of time getting the hardscaping just right. The choice of plants has been spot on--colors and movement are awesome, and we have not even been through all seasons yet!

This is the height of unprofessionalism. I was prepared to pay for some nice trees and plants, based upon the suggestions of someone who (supposedly) knew what to do. Instead, we were simply ignored.I realize $55.00 is not a huge amount of money, but I could have better spent it on a donation to an animal shelter.I cannot believe Angie's list even has someone like this.I cannot comment on the quality of the work simply because no work was done.

We contacted Kemora in early April, and Marisa came out the following Friday to look at the yard and get ideas for a drawing and estimate. She promised an estimate in two weeks. Six weeks later I emailed her and she said she would finish the estimate in two days. That was two weeks ago and she did not respond to my subsequent email last week. We are done with this company. We would have GREATLY appreciated a simple "we are too busy to help you."

The sketch itself was fine. Marisa came out on time and was responsive in setting up the appointment and touching base immediately afterward. She gave good ideas and feedback on what we could do with our front yard, and was friendly and knowledgeable. I expressed interest in having her do work, and asked for a quote over email later that week. After initially saying she would put together the numbers and get back to me soon,for 2 weeks she did not reply to emails asking for a rough timeline and making sure she would still be sending an estimate. Someone else from the company did end up sending an estimate (after I wrote my initial review), but it did not match the budget or plant guidelines we had discussed. We are not going with this company.

They showed up right on time. We went through some ideas with her and she also gave some ideas on how we could make or front an back yard more useful for entertainment. This consultation included everything from plant consultation to hard scape ideas. She also left us with a sketch to go off of.

Overall, the job went well. There were times when we needed clarification or plans to be changed, but it worked out well. Kemora dug up and installed three drain systems to take the downspout water away from our house. One goes under a cement walkway to the front of the house in a grass area to the south, another from the north of the house under the lawn, and the third in the back of the house into the back yard. They installed two above ground drains and one underground system (under the cement) that connects directly from the downspout. Marisa explained the system and how it would work very well, and Colleen back at the office helped coordinate adjustments and questions we had. We had to coordinate this job with new gutters being replaced, so it was hectic at times from a change in the drain size to a ComEd worker walking through the newly laid cement (really?). Jesus and Martin also did great work and fixed problems we saw, and even laid down some bluegrass seed to help with the grass that had been torn up. We are excited about our new system and love that it carries the rainwater back to the ground in a responsible way without being affecting our foundation. It also helps our sewers because it is less water carried in old pipes and we have had some backup water in the basement in torential downpours.

We recently purchased a two-flat on a double lot. The yard was one of our biggest attractions to the house even though it was in terrible disarray. Marisa designed a space that was perfect for our needs. She took into account our budget, desire to entertain, and to grow herbs and vegetables. Her incredible knowledge about plants, trees, colors, design and function blended perfectly with her ability to listen and incorporate my needs and wants. She was available to explain and discuss the design features to make sure we got exactly what we were looking for. On one occasion she spent over an hour discussing options for fencing and looked through pictures with me to make sure it was perfect! The crews working on our yard were professional, respectful, efficient and cleaned up everyday before leaving the site. Marisa and Colleen were both professional, friendly and extremely helpful. It was a great all around experience.

Project went great overall. We were off track by several weeks as scope expanded. Love the results!

We got their name from Angie's List, contacted them to give us an estimate, and it took them awhile to come out and do it. The estimate was ok, but when we got back to them with some questions about it, they never responded. We tried emailing and calling, and nobody ever got back to us. We were on the verge of using them, since they did have the best estimate, but since we never heard from them again, we could not hire them.
