Kemora Landscapes

I trully regret that I have finally concluded we will never receive the services we thought we had paid for from Kemora but we have now given up and selected another landscaper. Several months ago (perhaps March) a representative of Kemora came to the house and spent roughly 1/2 hour reviewing the yard for our newly built home in Chicago. The representative indicated she would get back to us with a rough landscaping design and suggestions. They requested a plat of survey which we did not have to provide them and they indicated instead they would come out and do meansurements. We made at least two more calls leaving messages to set up an appointment for them to take whatever measurements they need or clarify the status of our requested plan and we have heard nothing from them which at this point is almost 2 weeks We fully intended on using Kemora to develop our yard;. however, after repeated and repeated phone calls and promises that a plan was coming, we have given up and started the process to select someone else. The unfortunate result for this total lack of response is that I'm out $55 but Kemora is out potentially thousands for landscaping a yard from A to Z.

I was emailed almost immediately after purchasing the deal to set up an appointment. I picked a day several weeks away; on that day, it was raining REALLY hard. I called the office and spoke to Colleen, telling her that I didn't think they could do much with the grass so wet. She told me they were already on the way and would check the conditions when they arrived. That is what happened, and they rescheduled for another day. When they came, they asked what was most important (having a limited amount of time) and they did a GREAT job! Our yard was truly a mess, not having been raked much in the fall. They cleared away tons of leaves and yard debris, trimmed a tree or two, and left the place looking wonderful --- they took all the debris with them. Everyone I spoke to at this company was friendly -- an excellent experience!

THEY CAME ON THE ALLOTED TIME. WORKED TO BEAT THE RAIN FINISHED IN 5 HOURS ! VERY PLEASANT PEOPLE.

She showed up on time we walked around the house and discussed options. I mentioned a few allergies and she adjusted the selection accordingly.

These guys were great. The coupon was for 2 men/2 hours. They worked for over 3 hours at no extra charge and even came back a second time with their truck to make sure they hauled away all the lawn debris after their truck was full the first time. Very thorough job and would definitely use them again!

Colleen came to our home, took notes and provided us with a quote online. She was very professional and represented Kemora well. If things do not work out with the company we contracted with for lawn service, we may contact Kemora again. They lost the contract because of pricing.

They looked at the yard and measured and sent me a proposal through email. The proposal looked great but I couldn't afford it. They were very courteous and they were on time.

Three men arrived (early!), went right to work and advised me as to how to best achieve my objective--differently than I would have done it. They dumped the dirt on a tarp so that it wouldn't mess up my grass and even replanted a rhubarb plant that was established in one of the beds. They were polite, professional, worked quickly and efficiently on a nasty spring day (sleet and snow) and cleaned up my yard every effectively when they were done. I was very impressed by this company and will now be using their regular landscaping services. Thanks!

We were very pleased with Marisa. She was on time, had wonderful ideas, and was incredibly intuitive as to our needs. We are 1st time homeowners and are really very clueless when it comes to anything flora related. We had a really hard time describing what we wanted, but Marisa was somehow able to capture exactly what we had in mind. She didn't seem fazed that we couldn't afford to use her services at this time, and even gave us some handy DIY tips! We have already begun using some of her suggestions and it's really coming together nicely~ Highly recommended!

The landscapers dug out some bushes that we would have had a lot of trouble with ourselves. It was definitely worth the money. The only reason to give the B for professionalism is that the person taking appointments wrote down the wrong day, and they came on a different day. As it turned out, I was available both days.

We bought the angie's list deal and were very happy with the results.

Appointment was made, crew right on time, walked property with me to discuss what they were going to do and asked what more I wanted. Did a really good job and cleaned up at end of job.

Very nice team who did what we needed to have done. Helpful and inquired if there was anything else we wanted taken care of while they were here. Would use them again.

I emailed Marissa Gora for an appointment and we scheduled one for a few weeks later. Marissa was on time and spent time going over what we were looking to do with our yard. She listened to us very well and took into consideration our lack of time/ability for maintenance. She drew a potential design and said we would be emailed an estimate. We received the estimate a few days later. We've scheduled the work, but it has not been completed as yet. Good experience so far.

I met with Colleen, who was very prompt, and went over what needed to be done. She made a list of things, so I did not have to be home when the crew came on a different day. I was extremely pleased with Kemora Landscaping Designs, Inc. If you are looking for a jump start to get your yard and garden in order, so you can enjoy doing the fun stuff later, I highly recommend them. All of the debris was taken away, and I get to enjoy the yard and the hard work that they did!

Absolutely exactly what I wanted. Done quickly and professionally. I will definitely hire them again.

Originally signed up only for Angies List landscape design deal to get some ideas for do it yourself project. Ended up using Kemora for all the work which included trees, ground cover, perennials, and re laying of paver walk way. Very happy with the result, would use again.

On January 10, 2013 I signed up for a Big Deal with Kemora Landscape Designs. Found out yesterday that there was some problem with Angie's List and Kemora Landscape communicating the Big Deals information. I emailed Kemora directly and asked about an appointment. We are supposed to meet within the next two weeks. They were most apologetic for the confusion. I also received an email today from Angie's List about the problem; accepting all responsibility for the lack of communication. We are hopeful that our landscaping project will now move forward without further misunderstanding or difficulties.

Had to call several times and wait a year!

In all fairness to the company. I would like to hear their reasoning for not showing up or not calling. Until such time, I think it best that this problem not be shared14

Crew arrived on time and completed work on time.

It went great. They did a good job.

On time, responsive and professional.

Punctuality, professionalism, attended to my concerns and questions promptly.

The response was prompt. Marisa was very patience, answering questions and noted our specific requests. We received a sketch and very detailed estimate for the entire project. We are very pleased with their design and the association is budgeting for this project now. We will be hiring Kemora.
