Josh changed our two garage doors into one and installed a new opener. Very fast, quality work and good price.

Josh came on time (even a few minutes early) and performed all the work as described in the coupon. In addition, he recommended that the tension cables be replaced (extra $75). He showed my husband the old cables and they did look old and worn out. All in all, Josh did a wonderful job and would definitely hire this company again in the future.

Josh knew what was wrong based on my description on the phone. Came out next day, right on time. He was very friendly and completed the job quickly, seeming to really know his stuff. Advised on some other issues. A few weeks later, something unrelated went wrong. The door would not close because the sensors were misaligned. He came out again, fixed it in a jiffy and did not charge me. REALLY? The guy is a pro. I would totally recommend him.

It went smoothly. He arrived when expected. He gave a competitive price and did the work in approximately an hour.

While i purchased the garage door tune-up and rollers replacement for $99, i knew i wanted to know if anything else is wrong with my garage door, since i moved here recently. Talking with other service providers, all were reluctant to schedule an appointment within 48 hours. K&G were offering to meet my schedule right away, and confirm a day/time that would work with my schedule, in the next 48 hours. The technician arrived a bit late, but he called me twice to inform me first that he will be a few minutes late and then when he was a few minutes away. Common courtesy goes a long way, and many companies/people don't pay attention to it anymore. He was very thorough, and discovered a few issues with the cables that were holding the door. Unfortunately the replacement cost was not part of the deal, but he gave a good price and offered to fix it right then, without the need to schedule another appointment. Before he left, the door was fully balanced, working great and safe from any issues. I woudl greatly recommend them to others.

Easy to make appointment. Came right on time, diagnosed the problem, and corrected it. Quick, easy - did a great job. My garage door no longer sounds like it's in pain every time it opens and closes. Would recommend and will use again if I have another problem.

I was pleased with both the service and the work performed. Our garage door had recently stopped working right so we decided to purchase the "deal" (maintenance package) and have them check the system for problems. One main part & a couple smaller parts had to be replaced. The work took less than an hour to complete and the door works smoothly and quietly now.

We Called on a Saturday and they came as had indicated. The assessment was quick and quote was fair given the urgency. Overall service exceeding our expectations given our situation and the job was done the correct the first time. We couldn't of asked for more. Highly highly recommended.

He came out and changed the rollers, did the tune-up and found the tension coil to be in poor condition and replaced it for an extra cost. Overall, he was professional, punctual, and did the job as promised. He also came out again later when I thought I was having an issue with the door, and it ended up being unrelated to the work he did. I also had him out again a couple of months later to replace the motor on my garage door opener and service was good then as well.

They arrived as scheduled and completed the service in a short period of time. I am happy with the work that they completed.

This is the second time I used Josh. I reside in a townhome with an attached garage and my old company wanted me to wait a day before scheduling an appointment. Josh responded within minutes to my early morning call. Josh was early and completed the job within 30 minutes. Josh also reprogrammed my door. Now, that is service and I will never contact the other company.

Everything went very well. They are definitely professionals who deal with garage doors, springs, chains, sprockets, etc. every day. They fixed our opener very quickly, and were able to accomplish in about two hours with the garage door what I had been thinking would take me at least a very long day.

After a little bit of phone tag we were able to schedule the service on a date and time that worked for everyone. On the date of the service, Josh called to tell me when he expected to arrive, which I really appreciated. He was friendly and worked super fast. Our garage door is so quiet we sometimes have to double check that we shut it. Great job!

Overall we were very happy with the work.

Service technician arrived on time, inspected the door, replaced all of the rollers, and replaced/tightened a bolt on the opener. The work was done quickly and efficiently. The door now works beautifully (and very quietly with the new rollers). I would definately recommend K G Doors.

Contractor was very polite on phone, was able to come out in a very timely fashion. One of the door spring had broken on our old, very heavy door that we could no longer open. He fixed the problem with equipment on his truck. Work was professional and his gave accurate and fair advice (didn't need to replace garage door as we had been told by others).

I can't say enough good things about them. They came out right away and the price of the work was really good. They didn't try to get me to replace the entire door and were willing to fix the garage door. When he came out for the estimate he had all the parts with him. I would highly recommend them.

Based on reviews on Angie's list, I contacted KG Doors when our garage door stopped going up and down. I thought it was because a wire had been chewed by wildlife. I spoke with someone (I believe his name was Josh) who said he could come out and take a look. I don't remember whether we set it up for that day or a few days later, but he called to let me know how his schedule was running and showed up when expected. When he looked at the garage he said that one side needed a photo cell replaced. After replacing that, he determined that the other side also needed to be replaced. He did so, and it appears to have fixed the problem. He was professional and seemed to know what he was doing (I know nothing about garage electronics, so I have know way of gauging).

KG Doors was a lifesaver! My old garage door had finally given way and the rotted wood panels broke exposing my entire garage contents to the world ....... Many companies claim that have 'emergency service' but when it comes down to it they all want to take 2-3 weeks to come out and install a new door. KG Came out the next morning, assessed this situation, quoted a price on the spot and then completed the work the next morning. I came home from work and inspected the job and it was very well done, solid product and solid installation! I love my new door and the job site was all cleaned up and nice when I got there. I'd use them again and will recommend them as well!

They were great to work with. Very responsive and professional. The price seemed a bit high for the amount of work that had to be done, but it was comparable to other quotes we received. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

Josh was on time for the appointment and looked at the old opener which I knew already was very old. He told me it could not be fixed and that it was not up to current codes with no safety stops. We talked about what model of door opener I would want, which he did not have on his truck. He went to pick up the model I wanted, came back and installed it, talked me through all the features of the door. Josh removed the old door opener and had it ready for the trash person to pick up. Josh was very personalble, explained everything, including price and I would recommend him to all my friends.
