They were great about calling and responding to my inquiries and they were very professional and prompt in their work. I looked a long time for a garage door company and many places wouldn't call me back, or wouldn't even show up when we made appointments. They were really wonderful.

Description of Work: They repaired our garage door opener. It had stopped working because the drive chain came off. I reattached the chain myself but then it still didn't work right so I called KG Doors. They came out and made adjustments to the chain, the opener motor and to the door itself, which apparently wasn't quite straight in the tracks. And then they lubricated the whole thing. Now it works better than ever and it's whisper quiet. It used to make a loud noise when opening and closing.

Description of Work: Our garage door broke and I had gotten stuck inside the garage with no way out...I finally managed to get the door open enough to slide underneath it and escape. I called a couple of places and they all said that they could not come out to fix it until the following day. KG was also booked all day but he agreed to come out AFTER normal hours of operation for no extra charge. The technician, Josh, came out within the timeframe he had given me. He immediately identified the problem ( broken springs) and said he could have them replaced in 30 minutes. I also asked him if he would mind fixing the light that was not working. @ 30 minutes later, he was done. He had to change our cables as well as replace the springs but he did not change the price from his initial quote. This is an example of how a company goes above and beyond the call of duty to help and why our condo building will continue to use KG Doors from now on for all our garage door needs...
