I got an aluminum insulated storm door. He gave me the lowest bid and he did a great job. I can see why he is a Super Service Award winner. I highly recommend him.

Josh responded to our urgent plea for help when the spring on our double car garage door broke with the car inside. We called around 12 noon on a Sunday and he gave us a time slot within 2 hours. He showed up right on time, completed the work quickly and charged a very minimal and reasonable fee for working on a Sunday. Great work, thanks, Josh! The part comes with a good warranty.

Purchased new metal garage door to replace old wooden garage door. Door worked fine until it jammed and crumpled and coud not close to floor. Original installer came out to repair door. Tried to straighten door, but door would not close to floor evenly on both sides. Paid $100, but door eventually stopped closing to floor. Looked on Angie's List and found KG Doors. Had a little problem coordinating appointment time, finally was able to get one. Josh Klimek came out about 10 am on Saturday--I thought to give us an estimate--but he said he would fix it then, for $100. I said OK. He right away said the original springs should have been replaced with the ones that came with the door, because th old springs were to heavy for the lighter weight door. He said he would repalce the springs--no extra charge. When he finished, I went out to check and noticed the gap at the top of the door. Josh said he tried to fix that but there was a problem with the height of the lifter chain and the only way it could be fixed was to add brackets on each side of the door and attach them to the frame, but that would cost an extra $50 for the brackets. We said fine. When he finished, the door closed at the top and he adjusted it to lower to the floor perfectly. We have not had a problem with the door since.

Was able to schedule appt within 2 days. On service date, company called to see if earlier appt was a possibility. Arrived on time. Very professional. Great price.

I called K G Doors the Friday before a long weekend because one of the springs on my garage door snapped. I fully expected to have to wait for a few days to get an appointment, but Josh came by that same afternoon. After diagnosing the problem and quoting a price, he got to work. The job was finished quickly and the door runs better now than it has in years. I was very impressed and will have him back next time anything goes wrong (or if I need the door replaced because it is - how to put this politely - quite mature).

I called him at about 6AM for an emergency service, and he was out to my house in about 1/2 hour. I haven't had my garage door serviced in several years. He came out and fixed all of the pulleys and wires promptly. The next day, I was still having problems, I called him again and he was out again in about 1/2 hour. He noticed that one of the openers was defective, and he replaced it. Now the garage is working fine. I am so thankful that he came out so quickly because I have help come to my house, and it is important that they are able to get it and close the garage door. He talked professionally to me, and I do appreciate that.

Josh came out within 3 hrs of being called. He confirmed the broken spring, then informed me of my options. The part was very old and the door was wider than current standards. He measured the door and the original spring. It was going to take a day to get the correct parts and return. He helped me lift the door manually and remove the car trapped inside before leaving. He returned the following day and did an excellent job repairing the garage door. The only drawback to the new system is that the door is almost too quiet. I can no longer tell if the garage door is going up when I'm inside the house. I guess there are worse problems to have. When we decide to replace the old wooden door, we will definitely be calling K G Doors.

The installation went great. My major concern was insulation. This is an attached garage. Intially I wanted some adjustments made because I wanted it more airtite. After discussion Josh said he thought it was good, but that if I wasn't happy once it got cold he would see if there wasn't more he could do. Well I wanted it more airtite and true to his word he came out and made the adjustments and added additional gaskets.

I called the day after Christmas (a Saturday) and left a message, was called back a few hours later and someone was available to fix the door first thing Monday morning. The fix went fast and was done well.

It went very well. The co-owner who came did a good job. He quoted me a good price to fix it but then I decided to replace the door. I am pleased with his job and I have no complaints. He called me twice to inform that he would come to my house within 20 minutes and he did come by that time.

He was friendly and professional. The work was done in under an hour and he cleaned up before he left. I expected as much he was an AngiesList find to begin with.

KB representative was on time, professional, and friendly. He fixed the door and then explained to me in layman's terms the cause of the problem and how to fix the door again myself if the problem recurred. The garage door opener is quite old, and I probably would have believed him if he told me it needed to be replaced, but he was honest and told me it very likely had several years left in it despite its worn appearance. Came away very satisfied with the repair and the technician.

My garage door was getting hung-up in a few places when I would close it. I called K G Door on Thursday afternoon, and they set up an appointment for the next day. The repairman arrived in the time window set and took a look at the door. He diagnosed the problem as being due to the weather stripping shifting and getting in the way of the track. He adjusted it, and now it works great. He didn't even charge me because they had replaced the springs 6 months prior.

I actually contacted and scheduled an appointment with different vendor to come out and service a non-working garage door at a rental property that I own but they were a no-show. Found this vendor, K G Doors, through Angie's List. Called on a Friday and they were able to fit in a service call the very next day. When the technician came out on Saturday they told us that a special part was needed because our garage motor was an older model. The technician picked up the part Sunday morning and we had a working door by Sunday evening. K G was prompt and professional from start to finish.

I am not sure if I bought the doors from them or if they just did some repair work. They were really good and also prompt. They did a good work and were professional.

Went well although the doors inside hardware don't match which for an obsessive compulsive like me was a little disappointing but the function is fine. Also one door doesn't quite seal. I have measured the doors and it seems this door is slightly larger...I don't know if this could have been avoided. They did throw in an outside key pad for free which has been very handy.

Great. We had problems with the lock on the side door to the garage so he took the door off its hinges to get in. His diagnosis was spot on. He ever greased the garage door for no extra fee. We highly recommend his work. Great guy.

Everything went very smoothly. I called that morning and he showed up within an hour or two. He replaced the springs, answered my questions and was done. No problems since. Our garage door was getting stuck and not closeing fully. The vendor came out to give an estimate, explained the problem and was available in a fairly short time to install the new garage door. The only thing is he originally said he was going to come on a Monday but got caught up with another job - but came the next day. Gave us a $50 off for Angie's List referral!

I called Monday for an estimate, the door was installed Tuesday late afternoon in less than 2 hours. It was just that simple. Josh is quick, reasonably priced , and only sells you what you ask for and tells you the truth not like some other bigger companys(listed on this site) that have sub- contractors that give you incorrect information in order to sell you stuff you don't need. Honesty is the best way to keep customers. If you think his prices are too high,,,maybe you should do it yourself,as for me, i know who i'm calling K G Doors.

Josh is fantastic. He responds immediately, knows what to do and how to do it, and always goes beyond what has to be done to ensure everything works well. The prices always have been very good and the quality of work great. I will always call KG Doors first. Thanks, guys.

I was completely positively impressed with the service. I called Joshua at 8pm or so on a Saturday night and he called me back within a few minutes! How prompt is that? He said he would come at 730 am on Monday, and he was here like clockwork. This guy knows EVERYTHING there is to know about garage doors, he figured out the problem quickly and fixed it very efficiently. The job required the disassembly and reassembly of the top section of track, removing it from the stud, cutting some drywall and putting it all back. An hour and a half, perfect job, $120.00, I think that was very, very fair. And guess what, yesterday my neighbor who has had his door repaired 4 times by different people, without a proper result, had the same problem with his garage door. I recommended K G Doors, same experience, same diagnosis, same super-rapid fix. Are you listening out there?
