+ -1 moreWe had an appointment on 12/26 11am to take away leather chair and ottoman. The crew proceeded to the feet off the leather chair and then proceeded to drag it across my bamboo floors and causing damage to the floors. I called and was told to send picture, which are attached. Now almost 2 weeks later I have still not heard back from Junk King about the damage caused.

+ -1 moreI booked the work online and was able to choose a 2-hour window for the haulers to arrive. They arrived in the time booked and called 20 minutes prior to give us their estimated arrival time. They were courteous and pleasant, and removed the items efficiently. Because I booked the service online I received a $30 discount. They set the price by the amount of truck space the items take up. The price was reasonable, especially considering they had to move the washer and dryer up basement stairs. There was a price estimator tool on their website, and the actual price ended up on the low end of that. We were very pleased with the service. (The cost listed in this review does not include the tip we gave the crew. The crew can't be making much money on the service alone, so we gave them a gratuity when they finished.)
Description of Work: Hauled away a washer, dryer (from the basement) and heavy sofa sleeper.

+ -1 moreCan’t say enough great things about Junk King and that ultimately starts at the top, Hagen. You want Hagen there as your project manager. Communication is A+, the ability and understanding he had to work with me to space the hauling project out so that I didn’t take one huge financial hit was amazing, everything was top notch. If you want your job not only done, but done right, you go with Hagen and his team at Junk King. You won’t be disappointed. They’re great, honest people and they get the job done.
Description of Work: First project I gave was a huge family house cleanup. Ambitious was an understatement. We had a lot of junk. I gave Hagen a detailed email of the project and while I was in the office during my regular work hours he was there on the ground coordinating with his team to make sure everything went according to plan and he kept in constant contact with me if any questions came up. He was open with me when there might’ve needed to be additional fees such as mattresses or anything else, but he was also extremely helpful in saving me money such as knowing when people would come by to pick up things like metal. He could’ve easily charged me to haul this away but he didn’t, he was honest. Second project I needed it quick. Like a days’ notice quick. He had his team out there and this time his team on their own worked with my family. Guess what? They were an absolute pleasure to work with, even as my parents who are older bickered about what would be thrown out or not. They even got a kick out of it and told me how much they enjoyed working with my family.

+ -1 moreA rep from Junk King came to the house a few weeks before to give us an estimate. He estimated it would take three truck loads and the cost would be $1500 (actually $1,800 but he said he gave me a discount - not sure why). The workers (three of them) showed up with the truck on time and got to work right away with the directive from me that aside from the appliances, EVERYTHING had to go. They were there from 8AM until 7PM. It did take three trucks. They swept up after themselves. The place looked naked! But, in a good way.
Description of Work: They had to clear out 55 years worth of STUFF from my parents house. My father passed away and my mother moved to assisted living. We cleared out much on our own but it just never seemed to end. There was just too much stuff.

+ -1 moreCouldn't have gone better. I contracted to have him do 3 more junk haul pickups to save my contractor's time and keep the project moving. I do a remodel each year and will use him on all jobs going forward.
Description of Work: Junk King helped me with a very extensive remodel in a half floor condo downtown. They were able to demo and remove several truckloads of material in only 6 days, while two other demolition companies estimated 3 weeks to complete the job. The owner (Hagen) is extremely punctual, reliable and knowledgeable. The price was extremely fair.

+ -1 moreVery easy to book online---with discount for doing so. Very quick response. The owner, Hagen, called to check if they could come earlier so the sofa was out of my apartment in less than 24 hours. Very good service and I will use them again when I clean out my garage and storage locker.
