+ -1 moreIt went great. We asked for a few things that were over and above the initial agreement, and Jorge told us on the spot whether or not he could do them and how much extra it would cost. He started and finished exactly when he said he would.
Description of Work: We'd used Jorge in the past for painting, ceiling work (when pipes burst) and quick patches to damaged drywall in our condo. When we purchased an older house in which every wall was covered in wood paneling, Jorge was our choice. After we removed as much of the paneling as we could (it was glued and nailed to the plaster underneath) Jorge and his crew set to work installing drywall over the plaster on every wall in the living room, dining room, kitchen and one bedroom. They also helped us tear down one interior wall in the bedroom, and installed drywall on the ceiling. He helped us rip out a very large, and very ugly soffit over the kitchen cabinets, then used their carpentry skills to properly rebuild and drywall the sofift. They taped and primed everything so it was ready for us to paint. And they helped us remove debris and cleaned up everything. We will definitely use Jorge again. A+++

+ -1 moreJorge's guys were hard workers; arrived early each day, and finished the job fairly quickly. Jorge also came up with creative solutions for drywalling over odd spots (e.g. one corner that included a soffit, an uneven ceiling due to uneven floor joists, and a circuit breaker). My budget was limited for this project, and Jorge's crew provided a good work.
Description of Work: Mounted drywall (walls, soffit) for new rooms, part of a complete basement renovation project.
