Tim, the repairman came by on a Saturday to repair a toilet. He called ahead to say he would be a little late, and arrived right when he said he would. He looked it over, told me what he was going to do, and did it. Price was a little higher than I hoped, but the toilet works. He did pitch me on a service contract, but accepted no for an answer.

Excellent. The plumber was on time, worked very hard and did the job right. The price was a little high and the service plan program is sort of forced on you.

First of all, they were pleasant on the phone. They were swamped but they were still pleasant and even had a sense of humor. Andrew, the repair man, was kind and informative. He gave us our choices and his recommendations with a quick resolution. We even became service members as a condo assoc. So, hopefully, this too will pay off. I was very appreciative of their respect of others (me) since it seems so difficult to get companies to come out and do work for various things. I think we will be keeping them as our plumbing consultants.

MAN CAME OUT WHEN SCHEDULED FOR ESTIMATE. GAVE WRITTEN PRICE. PLUMBER CAME OUT WHEN SCHEDULED TO START JOB AND CONTINUED THROUGH JOB OVER TWO DAYS. LOOKS GOOD AND WORKS WELL.

I appreciate that they sent someone right over on a Saturday for an emergency. Steven was courteous and meticulous in his work. He wore paper booties and cleaned up after his work. The only thing I didn't love was the two tiered pricing. Lower if you purchased a service agreement. So I purchased one and they will come give a free inspection during the year and tag all my pipes. But I felt he was knowledgeable and professional.

When my kitchen sink backed up a friend suggested John Baethke & Sons. When I called they thought they didn't have any time that day for a service call, but within an hour I had an appointment for later that afternoon. Jamie the technician arrived at the appointed time. He removed the trap and roded to remove the obstruction, which included roots in the pipes. He seemed professional and capable at the work he did. He also recommended a service agreement with Baethke, which I purchased.

He had to blow out the pipes. I live in a 2 flat, so when the person in the other flat let the water out of her sink it would come into mine. He did a complete clean up after the job, I didn't have to lift a finger! He explained to me before the work was even started what needed to be done and the prices. He asked if I had any questions before work. When finished, he asked me if I had any questions about what was done and reviewed the pricing structure.

They were very efficient and very quick, the serviceman was very nice. They called me before they came out, and when they didn't have some humidifier pads in stock, they ordered them and are coming out today to put them in.

KIND, PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT, HONEST. SAVED US MONEY, TIME AND HASSLE BY RECOMMENDING WE TRY A MORE MODEST APPROACH TO FIXING A LEAK NEAR OUR HOT WATER FURNACE.

Tom came out and did a good job. He was very clean and polite and got the job done quickly. I'm unsure whether or not the prices were but would recommend him to anyone. I think they charge for estimates.

BEAUTIFUL WORK, TOTALLY INSANE PRICE. $330, AND THAT WAS THE "VALUE" PRICE. STANDARD IS $398. STICKING A FAUCET IN THE HOLE AND ATTACHING FLEXI SUPPLY LINES TO MY MAIN EXISTING SUPPLY IS NOT HARD. REWORKING THE ENTIRE PIPE STRUCTURE UNDER THE SINK IS DIFFICULT AND THE PRICE FOR THAT IS FAIR ($358). I HAVE USED THEM FOR OTHER THINGS IN THE PAST AND WAS PLEASED, BUT THIS RUINED IT FOR ME. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING FOR THEIR SERVICES.

THE WORKERS WERE ON TIME AND VERY COURTEOUS. THE WORK WAS DONE CORRECTLY AND TO MY SATISFACTION. HOWEVER, WHEN BRINGING IN THE NEW HOT WATER HEATER AND TAKING IT UP 1 FLIGHT OF STAIRS, APPROXIMATELY 20 GOUGES WERE MADE IN THE 1 YEAR OLD HARDWOOD STAIRS AND FLOOR. NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE WERE EXTREMELY UPSET. JOHN BAETHKE IMMEDIATELY OFFERED TO PAY, AND WAS EXTREMELY SORRY DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY USED A HEAVY DUTY PAD UNDER THE LEGS OF THE HEATER WHEN MOVING IT. AS YOU KNOW, ANY TIME A FLOOR IS RESANDED AND FINISHED THE INCONVENIENCE AND DUST CREATED IS A MAJOR PAIN. THE FLOORS AND STAIRS WERE REDONE AT THEIR EXPENSE, AS WELL AS HIRING A CLEANING PERSON TO DO THE CLEANUP. BASED ON THIS MISHAP BY AN EXPERIENCED COMPANY, I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

IN THE PAST I HAD EXCELLENT EXPERIENCES WITH THIS COMPANY. IN FACT, I USED THIS COMPANY TO RENOVATE MY BATHROOM AND WAS QUITE HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK. BECAUSE OF THE COST OF THIS PREVIOUS WORK, I WAS GIVEN A ''COMPLIMENTARY'' CONTRACT WITH THE COMPANY, WHICH I UNDERSTOOD TO MEAN THAT WE WOULD BE PRIORITIZED FOR SERVICE AND WOULD NOT BE CHARGED CERTAIN FEES, SUCH AS FOR SERVICE ESTIMATES. THIS TIME AROUND, IT WAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. MR. BAETHKE WAS RUDE AND BELLIGERENT AND PROFESSIONALLY INAPPROPRIATE. I FEEL AS THOUGH I HAVE BEEN DEFRAUDED.

THE WORKERS WERE ON TIME, VERY NEAT IN THEIR WORK, USED COVERS FOR THEIR SHOES, USED A TARP FOR THE FLOOR AND CLEANED UP VERY WELL UPON COMPLETION. THEY GAVE ME A DETAILED ITEMIZATION OF THE WORK COMPLETED AND WHAT NEEDED TO BE COMPLETED.

MY FIRST TIME I USED THEM. OVERALL JOB WAS EXCELLENT. GRADED B FOR PRICE. I THOUGHT IT WAS TOO PRICEY, BUT THEN AGAIN I DIDN'T DO ANY COMPARISON BECAUSE I WAS IN A HURRY. PLUMBER WAS A LITTLE LATE. VERY PROFESSIONAL THOUGH. THERE IS A CHARGE FOR AN ESTIMATE, WHICH THEY TELL YOU UPFRONT. I WILL PROBABLY USE THEM AGAIN.

MATT, THE PLUMBER, HAS BEEN TO MY HOUSE A COUPLE OF TIMES AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN COURTEOUS AND COMPETENT.

EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND WORK. WILL USE AGAIN AND AGAIN.

MATT FROM BAETHKE CAME ON TIME (EVEN A LITTLE EARLY), DETERMINED HE WOULD HAVE TO DRILL A SMALL HOLE IN THE BOTTOM OF OUR FURNACE TO REACH THE DRAIN, TOLD ME HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST AND THEN DID IT (ONCE I APPROVED THE WORK). HE WAS PLEASANT, PROFESSIONAL, DID A GOOD JOB, AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE USED BAETHKE & SON, AND HAVE BEEN IMPRESSED EACH TIME WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GOOD WORK.EACH REPRESENTATIVE OF BAETHKE & SON THAT HAS COME TO MY HOME TO DO A JOB HAS BEEN VERY PLEASANT, COURTEOUS, AND QUITE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE ISSUE AT HAND.

WAS NOT PLEASED THAT BAETHKE CHARGED ME OVER $200 TO DO A 'VIDEO INSPECTION' OF THE SEWER, CLAIMING THE BLOCKAGE COULD BE CAUSED BY A CRACKED PIPE AND THE VIDEO COULD BE USED TO GET THE CITY TO REPAIR THE PIPE. AFTER THEY PERFORMED THE INSPECTION AND FIND A CRACK IN THE CITY OWNED PORTION OF THE PIPE, THEY INFORM ME THAT I'LL HAVE TO PAY FOR ANOTHER TRIP CHARGE AND VIDEO INSPECTION ( $300) FOR THEM TO COME BACK WHILE A CITY INSPECTOR IS PRESENT. THEY COULD HAVE CALLED THE INSPECTOR INTIALLY TO HAVE HIM THERE DURING THE FIRST INSPECTION, BUT THAT WOULD APPARENTLY DENY THEM THE PLEASURE OF DOUBLE CHARGING THEIR CUSTOMER. DESPITE THIS ISSUE, THE WORK PERFORMED WAS DECENT SO 4 MONTHS LATER WE CALLED TO HAVE THEM BID ON A SUBSTANTIAL REMODEL WE DOING. HA. THIS COMPANY EXPECTS YOU TO PAY THEM $75 TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE/ GENERATE A BID. IN MY BOOK, WHEN YOU'RE BIDDING ON A 10K JOB, THE LITTLE BIT OF TIME USED IN GENERATING A BID IS THE 'COST OF DOING BUSINESS'. NOT GOING TO USE THEM AGAIN.

WE OFTEN HAVE EMERGENCY PLUMBING PROBLEMS AT DIFFERENT PROPERTIES AND JOHN BAETHKE AND EMPLOYEES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE AND DO GREAT WORK.
