He was excellent and very nice. the only thing that I was not happy with the service was the additional $25 charge for a truck service.

Joe is deeply knowledgeable about municipal electrical codes including Chicago's, and he helped save us $$$ and headaches in ensuring we used the best fixture for fit/function in our space, answering our questions quickly and professionally. Fantastic experience from start to finish! We'd definitely hired Joe again.

You cannot go wrong hiring JF Industries., This was a small job and finding people to take small jobs is almost impossible., but this company took the work. I had to wait a bit, but I didn't mind since they constantly kept in touch with me and I knew the work would get done. Polite, responsive, and most of all did an excellent job. Very appreciative.

Jeff Fragola is a consummate professional. I spent many hours hunting down someone who was reasonably priced and still had a worth ethic. At first we failed, hiring someone else who did all of the work wrong. After a lot of time and stress, Joe came by to give us an estimate on more work and showed us how the first guy's work was not done right. Joe gave us a competitive estimate and personally took it upon himself to make sure we were taken care of properly. He communicated regularly regarding our city inspector and com ed inspections, offered sage advice throughout to help us not miss anything even outside the scope of his own job. In the end, we had our pool grounded, all electrical added for the pool (all done properly, to code with permits), moved the electrical box in the house to a new wall, drilled through a challenging setup of small spaces to move it to boot. He moved the line in location to the opposite side of the house to be the needed distance from the pool overhead too. He also redid all of the our outdoor electrical to ensure there were no missing pieces to the puzzle that weren't done right. I would HIGHLY recommend Joe for any electrical work. We had other licensed professionals come by for estimates too, Joe was by far the most trustworthy and priced the same as the others. Don't hesitate to contact Joe Fragola at JF Industries.

Joe was very responsive and really great about getting back to me along the way. When I first contacted him he was up front about being booked out a few weeks. His quote wasn't the cheapest, but his plan was by far the best of all the contractors I spoke to about this project. Joe showed up as scheduled. He had to cut across a concrete walkway and roughly eight feet of concrete car park. He and his partner knocked that work, plus digging the trench, drilling through the brick wall of my house and running the pipe and electric in about 4 hours. All that while it was snowing too. A few hours after Joe left I noticed that I had no power in the garage again. This time it was the GFI outlet that kept tripping. I called Joe and he came back out in 20 minutes. He was able to isolate the problem to the existing wiring inside the garage. He disabled those runs and that kept everything stable so we can use our garage door opener again. We will re-run all the electric in the garage to eliminate the short when the weather warms up. Joe will be first on my list when I look to get that done.

Went well. Jeff is a nice, friendly person. Took less time than I anticipated.

The problem was a bit more complicated than originally thought. He identified the problem right away and fixed it without delay.. He had all the parts and equipment he needed to accomplish the task. I would hire him again without hesitation.

This is the second time we had Joe Fragola do electrical work, and as before, everything went very well. He was prompt with the quote, on time and completed the work on time. The work looks great, and everything cleaned up. Very happy with the work, and would definitely use JF Industries again.

I called in the morning afraid to leave my house after a power surge took out my coffeemaker and left my basement lights on. By 1 PM, Joe was at my house. He fixed the problems caused by the storm within the first half hour. During that time he answered questions I had about other electrical issues in my house. He charges a $145 flat fee for labor, so he told me I have him for a whole hour and asked what else I'd like him to work on. Amazing! Joe is a great troubleshooter and works fast and efficiently. He got a lot more done for me than I ever expected. Even better, he showed me how to change out the recreation room ceiling lights to LED canisters. I was able to accomplish that on my own the next week, thanks to Joe!!

Joe's professionalism was beyond reproach - along with his friendliness We have used his service in the past and will definitely do so in the future - as and if needed We also were quite satisfied with the charge for his service.

Joe was great. He showed up on time, did great work, cleaned up and was out in record time. We'd assumed that we would have some holes in the ceiling/wall since he had to install a new box in the ceiling and wire it to existing light switch way across the room, but all he left behind was a few drill holes near the install location (to look for a joist, I assume). Awesome. We hope to hire him again in the next couple months to address some lingering issues from our home purchase last year.

Super happy with the results. Price was reasonable, work was done promptly and within estimated time, work looks neat and professional, and great follow-through on making sure inspections were done. I would definitely use Joe and company again, and recommend them as well.

Following the purchase of my new home and the subsequent inspection, Joe and his team brought the breaker box up to code, grounded several outlets, changed basically every outlet in the house (they were all painted!) and wired my office per my request. Given that this is a coach house and built over 100 years ago, they faced some challenges. Joe will deal with you honestly and fairly, providing options and making a recommendation.

Joe is a prompt, professional, and knowledgeable electrician. When he did our estimate, he was able to point out possible problems that he would have to investigate further. Thank goodness none of it actually turned out to be a problem, although I appreciated his giving us the heads-up to a "worst case" scenario. He did the work well, and very, very quickly. He and his employee were focused in their work, and they did a lot of work in a very short amount of time...3-4 hours over two visits. He kept me informed of a delay relating to a special switch that had to be ordered, and he gave me options if I didn't want to use the switch. I chose to not use the switch, and the one function of a bathroom fan/light/nightlight that we can't use, well, I don't really miss it anyway. I have tried a lot of different electricians over the years, but now that we've used Joe's services, I will be sticking with him from now on.

Joe was a pleasure to work with, a neighborhood friend recommended him after he re-wired and corrected the issues in her home. He was very up-front from the time of the quote and very responsive to all calls/emails. For the actual project we chose an hourly time and materials option because we had a large project and they finished on time. WOW, he and the other electrician he brought with him were FAST! Both husband and I noticed how quickly they were moving. Albe to complete projects in the timeframe that we had not planned on, but when he finished early and was able to complete. We will absolutley recommend him. A real perfectionist, hard-working and honest. Definitely not the cheapest option but we did not wanted it done right the first time. Have learned from past experiences when selecting electricians, paying for it to be done right the first time is a better and more cost effective in the long run.

I only wish all the contractor?s work I need to have done was half as professional, prompt and courteous. Customer satisfaction is a top priority with Joe. Highly recommend. Have more electrical work planned for Joe.

I met with a number of other electrical contractors and received a few quotes. I do not shop around for the lowest quote but rather the best person for the best price. From our first meeting with Joe Fragola, I had a hunch he would be the best person for the job. He was thorough and honest about a number of items as he walked through the construction/remodel. Truly, he was the most thorough. He requested to come and visit the site one more time prior to starting work. His quote was very clear and detailed. He was and has been extremely responsive to all emails and calls. The day of the job: Joe and Scott arrived early, right when they said they would. The temperature that day was about 10°F (not a peep about the temperature and they were outside the entire time... refreshing). They went straight to work. They were very efficient and professional throughout the entire process. The final product looks amazing - the conduit runs, the attention to detail (Yes, I know its electrical items), everything. Once done, they completely cleaned all of their work areas. Joe walked me through the work performed and gave me additional recommendations/suggestions. His background and experience is impressive - which shines through in the level of knowledge and his ability to explain things. If I have any future electrical needs, I would confidently work with Joe again.

Joe has done a few different projects in our house and is always very professional and respectful of our dog and kids. He is very trustworthy and is someone that will get the work done properly the first time.

Joe Fragola was very responsive to all emails throughout the estimating, scheduling and work. I highly value that level of responsiveness with any contractor I work with. Joe came out in late August/early September to provide an estimate for the work. He pointed out that Commonwealth Edison would have issues with the power lines running through the trees and may require that the meter location be moved. He provided me the contact information for the Com Ed inspector which was very helpful. (Com Ed did indeed require that the trees be removed but thankfully did not need the meter relocated.) Joe emailed me a detailed estimate within a few days. After getting several other bids, I chose JF Industries and notified Joe that we'd like him to proceed with the work in mid-October. Joe and his crew of two showed up promptly at the time agreed upon. Joe reviewed the scope of the work with my husband and me before he started and answered a few questions that we'd had. He also told us that the Com Ed inspector was requiring a 3 1/2" pipe through the roof (the existing was a 2 1/2" pipe), which in his opinion was overkill but he felt that it was important to follow the directives of the inspector. I appreciated his thoughts and concerns about this and while we weren't thrilled about the larger hole that would have to be made in the roof, we understood that it was necessary. Joe and his crew worked extremely hard all day and were finished by about 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. (I don't think they even stopped for lunch or a break). They checked all outlets and circuits to make sure they were all functioning, and labeled/identified each circuit. They cleaned up completely and left everything in excellent shape. As an aside - when I saw how neatly Joe's van was organized and arranged, I felt quite confident that we'd made the right choice in electrical contractors. Personally, I appreciate those who treat their tools and equipment with respect! Joe came back on 10/22/2013 to meet with the village inspector to get the final approval on the work. There were absolutely no issues and the work was approved. I'd be happy to work with Joe and his crew any time. They were a pleasure to work with.
