On numerous occasions when we were either seeing the unit or having various inspections done, she arrived extremely late. If this were the only problem I would not be taking the time to write this. The larger problem was that she either failed to due her due diligence (as a seller's agent must do to learn all about the property that he/she is representing) or she flat out lied about the status of special assessments that had or were being levied on the condo unit. We repeatedly asked about the status of current or expected assessments prior to putting in an offer on the condo and were told repeatedly that there were none. We made an offer on the condo based on there being no special assessments and the sales contract indicated that there were no special assessments. When we then sought various condo documents to "confirm" this as is a part of the sales process (documents that should have been forwarded within 2-4 business days), we instead waited MANY weeks. During this time our buyer's agent called her regularly to let her know what we needed and yet she didn't respond or help to move things forward in a timely manner. So either she failed to stay on top of the process and get materials to us in a timely manner or she was deliberately attempting to withhold this information about the property in hopes that we would unknowingly move forward with the transaction. We eventually learned that there were MULTIPLE special assessments--none had been disclosed! We have never had such a negative experience.
