JCA Wood Refinishing

Mr. Arreguin did an amazing job of refinishing a hardwood entrance door and also repairing a cracked door frame. The door is like new. I also appreciate the excellent customer service and communication with Vanessa at his office regarding appointment times. I'm considering JCA for other wood working projects in my home.

They picked up a day late. Was told job would take 7 to 10 days. It took 20 days and colors are uneven. Would not recommend them.

Initially, I had met with Carlos at the end of May to get an estimate, and then radio silence for well over a week. I gave them a not so good review. JCA reached out and apologized for the delay, I got the estimate and gave the go-ahead. Work was scheduled for today. Carlos was punctual and brought 2 additional workmen, so all the work was completed today. Took the expected precautions to protect flooring and carpets and clean up after. I have to say they did a beautiful job. The sunroom windows are particularly lovely given the many years since they were installed.

JCA did an amazing job of not only refinishing but rebuilding our kitchen cabinets. They made cheap 30 year old Merillat cabinets look modern and appealing. They were super accommodating of our remodeling schedule and even made extra trips to complete incremental parts of the project so that other trades could perform their part in the best order. They protected the job site and contained construction dust and paint spray incredibly well. The quality of the finish rivals that of brand new and it's really hard to tell the difference. I'm running out of superlatives with good reason and couldn't be happier with their work in all respects.

I was and still am blown away! They even were able to regain the wood grain in my wood where the wood has been missing ... unbelievable! Superb work ...Carlos the owner of the company did Magic.. they were very efficient they were punctual and knew exactly what they were doing him and his assistant. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs refinishing done in their home or on their furniture!a definite 10!!!! It was worth every penny..Carlos takes pride in his work. I wish I had a before picture but believe me it was really bad and this is just like a brand new door it's amazing.

We hired JCA to stain large picture and double hung window frames. They did an excellent job! Both stain and finish were rich in color and even in tone. Our frames were not simple, they had detail and multiple layers. Further, some frames had been left unstained for many years which made them yellow in color, others were newer and therefore not yellowed. The JCA team took into consideration the varying ages of the frames and matched them uniformly. They communicated timely. Showed up timely. Were respectful of protecting surrounding areas while staining; cleaned up after each day. Highly recommend them!

I was so pleased when I arrived home last evening to see the work that JCA Wood Refinishing completed refurbishing my front door. It looks even more marvelous this morning. My daughter, who was home while the work was being completed, said the technician took great care in his work. My wife and I were both very pleased. Thank you.

I am very happy with the work done by Carlos and his team. This was a job that was difficult because it required matching old wood window frames with new wood replacement windows. They turned out perfect! Plus, the house was spotless after they were finished. i will definitely be calling JCA Wood Refinishing again, and will refer friends as well.

Carlos is very pleasant, very professional. He clearly takes well-deserved pride in his work. We initially contracted for the work on the 2 chairs. He arrived to pick up the chairs at the appointed time and returned them in just over a week. The chairs looked remarkable. Repairs on the one chair were virtually undetectable, even when closely examined. The chair that required refinishing was truly stunning. When I inquired as to whether he might be able/willing to repair damaged woodwork in the house, he readily agreed. He scheduled to come out the next day. Again the work he did was exceptional. We are so impressed with Carlos and his work that we have now contracted with him to make a large bookcase using our antique leaded glass windows. Without hesitation we highly recommend JCA Wood Refinishing.

They were truly professional in every way. Really nice people. The work was beautifully done and the pricing was reasonable. They picked up and delivered the furniture as well. And It only took 2-3 weeks turnaround time. Highly recommend !

Someone from JCA came to look at the cabinets on a Saturday and said she would email an estimate on Monday. An estimate was never received, despite my calling and talking to the owner twice and sending an email. A waste of my time and extremely unprofessional.

We had several quotes and JCA was at the best price yet still had excellent quality. They know what they are doing. I would highly recommend them! We have received nothing but compliments on job they did. See attached pics

Replaced my front door but the size of the door is non standard (home over 100 years old). I found a wood door at an antique store but it needed to be fixed (some splitting in the wood and damage to the bottom), stripped, retained and finished. I searched several places and at one point received a quote for almost $700 to do the work. I ran across JCA through Angies List and thought they might not be interested in such a small job but thankfully I was wrong!! I texted an inquiry with pics of the door. I promptly received a quote. He even prepared some sample stains for me so I could choose my color but I was not entirely interested in any of his sample colors so I requested a customized color and he was more than willing to accommodate me. He completed the job within the timeframe promised and even delivered the door the my home for no additional charge. The color was PERFECT!! It is beautiful and he did an excellent job of repairing the door. He even filled all of the knob holes with wood. I have received many compliments on my door already. Good job at a reasonable price. I am very happy I hired JCA. I intend to replace my back door next year and will definitely hire them again if I need to have it refinished.

Great! JCA took over the job after another contractor messed it up. They really saved the day! Very reasonably priced and responsive.

I am usually very hard to please when it comes to service providers. Anyone who knows me can attest to that. But the entire experience was pleasant, from beginning to end. Everyone that has seen it has been blown away by the quality of the workmanship. I have raved about it to friends, and even people in line at the store, I've been so happy.

Loved working with JCA on refinishing my furniture. They were incredibly responsive communication wise, on time for picking up and delivering my furniture, and very cost-effective. Juan Carlos and his crew are the consummate professionals. They matched the existing stain color perfectly, repaired & restored damaged wood, and stained everything flawlessly--including some very intricate and difficult areas like crank-out windows, windows with tracks and hardware that were not to be stained, spindles and carved newel posts, and water-damaged on previously-stained woodwork. Everything came out gorgeous--furniture quality perfect. They were also very precise and careful in their masking, taping, covering, and removal & replacement of hardware to ensure that stain and lacquer were only applied where intended. In addition to doing beautiful work, they were also very courteous, punctual, careful, accommodating, and efficient. I heartily recommend them, and will definitely use them again for any future wood finishing projects.
