They were fantastic.

What set Greg & Jake apart from the other estimates, in addition to having the most reasonable price, was they took photographs from the roof to show the work that needed to be done.

Greg and Jake were great. They took the time to understand the problem and to explain to me what they believed was needed to remedy the situation. Communication via email and phone was timely and Greg always returned with answers to questions. After work was completed, I asked if Jake could come back to actually take me up on the roof and show me the work; neither Jake nor Greg had any problem with this and Jake came out when I requested. They were both great and I would use them again or refer someone else to them.

Greg responded immediately to my call and priced the work within a couple of days. His cost was much better than another quote that I received for similar work. After they received my deposit check, we scheduled the work for the next week. Greg stayed in touch with me via e-mail about timing. The company completed the work in 2 days with a small army of masons. They cleaned everything following construction completion. This is a contractor that I will certainly use again.

They stayed within the estimate. They started on time and finished on time. They were professional and kept a very clean work-site.

Jake, from J.C. & Son Masonary, came twice to give an accurate estimate and answer my many questions. He was able to do the work within 2 weeks of the first visit, which was important to me as we had a leak into a second story window. He worked with me to get permits for our village in an expedient manner. He and his crew arrived promptly every day, worked with effeciency, speed accuracey and thoroughness. Cleaned up every evening. At the end of the job of reseaming the roof, they were even willing to paint the silver sun-reflecting paint on the new part of the roof. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who asked. Jake is the morter that holds the operation together. He bids the job; he answers the questions; he works the job; and he is the last one to leave the job.

I called Greg prior to purchasing a building for a quote on the work. He was one of two contractors willing to come out and give a free quote even though I did not own the building yet. All others wanted to charge $100. Greg came out and emailed me a quote right away. The seller actually ended up making the repairs. I feel bad for having Greg come out, because initially the sellers were completely against doing any work. I will however be calling JC & Son when I need work in the future.

These guys did a good job. They came up with a reasonable solution to my brick issues, while some other Angie's list contractor's thought I needed to completely rebuild certain walls costing $3,000-$5,000 per wall. They pretty much came when they were supposed to, although with the rain there was some rescheduling (hard to blame them for the rain). Everything went fine, my only minor complaint was that the guys working didn't speak much English so communication wasn't the greatest, but the work was done on budget.

The project went very well. JC & Son responded to my emailed request for a quote within one day. They then visited our house to scope the project and provided a quote that same day. Jake arrived to do the work on time on the day scheduled and completed the work in two days as planned. When questions came up they called me first before proceeding. One question regarded what to do with an old aerial antennae, the other involved painting the chimney cap. They were very professional, thorough, clean and prompt. In addition, they were much more affordable than other quotes received.

Everything went smooth and as promised, they came in set up their tools material, finished the work in 2 days a most importantly cleaned up after themselves.

Jake was very prompt. He came with his crew every day on time. Whole project was completed in 4 days. They were very clean, they cleaned up the job side every day after they were done working. His final bid was well documented and clear with a reasonable total price. I had couple of estimates and I saved over $1500.00. I was very happy with a job they did, and I would recommend JC and Son masonry company to everyone.

After comparing prices with other companies, I got back to JC & Son Masonry to schedule the date of work. They were very punctual, professional and organized. They finished the job on schedule, and most of all cleaned up after they were done. I am 100 % satisfied with JC & Son Masonry and will definitely come back for more work.
