+ -1 moreI have used him for many years. He fixes all kinds of appliances and he does it in the most efficient way; no nonsense and very polite. The last time he was here I spent about $150. I will use him in the future.
Description of Work: Jake's Service replaced the ignition and the burners of a stove about a month ago.

+ -1 moreUsually he will first come and assess the situation, figure out the problem and calculate cost of parts + labor to repair. He will suggest options, if available and he will recommend if the machine is not worth the cost to repair, which is rare. If he needs to order a part, we will schedule a second visit, however, frequently he has the part in his truck and he will repair it in one visit. The bill is always exactly what he said it would be. You can not go wrong with Steve.
Description of Work: I have called this company many times over the past 15 years to repair stoves, refrigerators, washers and dryers. He is always prompt, courteous and has all the parts and expertise to repair these sometimes old and finicky machines!

+ -1 moreI couldn't ask for anything more. He was on time, knew what he was doing, and it ended up costing less than anticipated.
Description of Work: I made arrangements for repairs to be done to my mother's stove. Steve was very professional. I told him what needed to be repaired/replaced (igniter switch) and he had the part available and knew exactly what needed to be done. He gave me an estimate for the repair and it ended up costing less than the estimate. He was prompt, very knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself. I recommend his service highly.

+ -1 moreHE WAS VERY PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL IN RETURNING OUR CALL. ALTHOUGH WE ENDED UP NOT ASKING HIM TO COME OUT TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE (BECAUSE A DIFFERENT COMPANY WAS FASTER BY A FEW HOURS), WE WOULD DEFINITELY CALL HIM AGAIN IF WE NEEDED ANOTHER REPAIR.
