Description of Work: Replaced our whole roof (2 stories) and added guards to our top roof's gutter. They were right on time for the bid appt and did a thorough inspection of the roof with pictures. The quote arrived quickly. Their price was in line to low compared to the other bids. Based on the reviews, the detailed bid, and their professionalism - we decided to hire them. They ended up having an opening in their schedule a few days later so the whole process was shorter than expected. It only took them two days to finish [but they worked late both nights]. We asked them to come back to look at a couple of shingles but overall thought they did a great job for a reasonable price. It's been a couple of months since the work was done and so far so good.

Description of Work: Tuck pointing entire south wall and chimney, also apply black sealer to lower north wall. Everything was great, they did a very good job. I'm very happy with the service provided and will be using only them for my other home repairs. Description of Work: JL Contractor Services formed and poured new footings, walls and a slab in our coach house/garage. The floor originally consisted of wood decking (2x8 floor boards and joist framing) over a dirt. I opted to do the demo in house and hired Jack to pour the slab. After removing the existing floor, it was determined that the foundation needed to be replaced as well; mixture of block and brick, along with what ever else was laying around when the garage was originally built. Jack came back out and re-quoted the job with the new scope. Over the course of 5 weeks, Jack was in constant communication with his teams schedule and was considerate of mine as we worked through the different phases. Of the three bids I reviewed for the job, Jack was the most complete and I am confident we went with the right contractor. I am extremely happy with the quality and outcome of the project, and recommend JL Contractor Services for you concrete needs.

Description of Work: We needed some spot tuck pointing done on a portion of our condo building. JL promptly scheduled a time for an estimate, arrived on time, and gave a competitive estimate for the work. We hired them for the job and it was scheduled within about a week. Work was done well and the area was cleaned up after completion. We ended up needing additional masonry work for a different project and hired them for that as well...again done well and rapidly.

Description of Work: Honestly, they deserve full A+ rating especially contrasted with the several contractors I had to wade through first to find them. They were highly responsive to my requests for estimates on 2 separate projects and willing to take on this relatively "small project" that several others did not even return phone call inquiries for. They were very prompt and responsive to my requests, very accommodating and professional with email and written estimates that provided all I needed to share estimates with condo association and get repairs cleared. I am very happy with the results and am currently working to have them do additional work for my mother as well as for the association. Specific work done: Repair fallen drain pipe (on 3 floor buidling), paint discolored window shutters, repair\replace broken window shutters.

Description of Work: They did all the work for our new 5000+ square foot roof. They were a pleasure to work with. Professional, knowledgeable and cleaned up all of the debris. We reviewed all the shingle choices with Jack the owner and have been extremely happy with the job. This job was completed in September 2006 and has been perfect.
