It took more than two months, 7 appointments (including two no-show/no calls) and dozens of phone calls to get the dishwasher fixed. The company was initially responsive, sending Paul out to assess the problem within 3-5 days. They diagnosed the problem and needed to order parts. Three weeks later, Paul returned to install the part. We ran the dishwasher that night, and it still wasn't fixed - and it also started leaking, a new problem. This is when things turned bad. It took several calls and messages before ISSCO responded to the problem. They sent Paul back out for an appointment between noon and 5:00, but he never showed or called - only when we called ISSCO at 5:00 p.m. did they tell us he had called in sick. At this point, we requested another appointment, and Paul showed up to reassess the problem a week later. We then called ISSCO and demanded overnight parts delivery so Paul could quickly return - another appointment was set. Paul called me that day to confirm he was coming, and while I didn't answer, I called ISSCO within 2 minutes of his call and spoke with Emily - she called Paul on the other line and confirmed he was still coming, but then he never showed nor called. The next day, the call center had the nerve to tell me that he tried reaching me, but I didn't answer - this was when I recounted hearing Emily speak to Paul 2 on the other line (again, two minutes after I had missed his call) and having him confirm he'd show up. Several additional calls were made, and a new service person came out a couple days later and determined he had the wrong part. We again demanded overnight parts service, and Paul came back a week later and finally installed the new part. The dishwasher is now functioning after we missed nearly a week's worth of work in order to be home for ISSCO to service our dishwasher. The call center was difficult to access, and we very rarely received calls back. Only after we threatened to report ISSCO to places like Angie's List and BBB did they begin being more responsive. I also worked through GE Service, who assigned ISSCO to us in the first place, and they were marginally helpful (they reinforced my demands a couple times, but wouldn't assign a new company to conduct repairs).
Description of Work: ISSCO was contracted out by GE Service to do warranty work on my dishwasher (GE administers contracts for Home Depot extended warranties - they don't have to be GE...mine is an LG). My dishwasher had completely stopped cleaning, and it seemed like very little water was flowing. There were also a few weird noises coming out.
