The job that they did was fine. They were quick. I would use them again in the future.

The job went great and they were fabulous. They were extremely professional and on time. They did everything I asked for. They were service oriented all the way. I would give them 100% in everything since they were fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone and I would definitely use their services in the future too.

Chris Maul and his crew were professional from the moment I contacted him. His initial estimate was aggressive and came in below the other contractors I looked at. He wanted the business and campaigned for it. Chris started the project on the agreed upon date and finished on time. Chris was very good at keeping me informed on the progress of the project. This was important due to him cleaning up the mess of another contractor. His quality of work is top notch. The bathroom remodel turned out amazing. Chris and his team installed a marble bathroom. It will increase the value of our home. My interactions with Chris were a huge departure from my previous experience with contractors. He was a joy to work with. This is the reason I signed up for Angie's List. I was able to find a contractor who is responsible, professional and does quality work. I could not be more impressed. Chris also painted the interior of our home. His painting was also A+. In both the remodel and paint work, Chris and his team's work was neat and left our home in the same condition he found it. I was extremely disappointed with the results of the painting. Coverage was poor, with primer showing through. Same with the areas where cutting in was required. Trim color had been gotten on the walls, and wall color on the trim. Areas of the banister and rails had been missed entirely. Lines were sloppy. A bulge in the plaster wall that I had asked to have leveled out was still there. When I asked about the bulge, Chris said it was the best he could do without drywalling it. But he never gave me that option when he was doing the work. Chris responded to my concerns immediately and started the touch-ups himself the same day, and the results look good, if you don't look too closely. He used caulk to get a clean line between the trim and the wall. But now I have a white caulk line between the trim and wall colors. Coverage in the entryway is still poor. Chris is a nice guy; polite, professional, and responsive. But I won't be using him for any future work.

Overall a great experience. I dealt with Chris Maul for the whole project. Everything from the initial contact to the estimate to the job itself went smoothly. The quality of the work was good, and accomplished in a reasonable amount of time. I plan to use Chris again for future projects and would highly recommend him.

We just purchased an investment property, and wanted to get a tenant into the apartment as quickly as possible. Called owner Chris Maul on Monday July 2nd and he was able to come out for estimate the same day, and started work the next day. Chris only took 3 days and this was a holiday week. I was pleased with his work, and he was professional and easy to work with.

No work was performed. I called Mr. Maul on 7/2 and we setup an appointment for the evening of 7/3. He could not make the appointment due to traffic (however I called him to see why he was late, he did not call me to change the appointment). We re-scheduled for 7/5 and he did show up on time. I explained to him that I needed an estimate by Friday morning because I needed to start the work on Monday and he said no problem. On Friday at noon, I called him because I had not received the estimate. He stated that he would email it by 5pm on Friday. To this date (7/11/07), I have not received a proposal or a phone call.

Paint job turned out great. Chris subcontracted the paint job to an independent painter who turned out to be really great (I guess I was under the impression that Chris would be doing the painting himself, but it sounded like he's been really busy with a lot of remodeling projects.) The project took approximately one day longer than anticipated, but Chris charged exactly what he quoted in his estimate. I didn't receive any assistance in paint color selection, but I am happy with the colors I selected. Chris' quote was the least expensive of three estimates I received, and he was able to schedule my paint job 2 - 3 weeks sooner than the other 2 estimates I received. Considering the quality of paint job and how quickly Chris was able to schedule my project, I am extremely happy with how everything turned out.

We were very pleased with Chris and his crew. We had met with six different contractors prior to him, and liked him right away. His estimate was on par with the other six, and he was prompt in returning phone calls. He estimated the job to take four days, and he finished in two. With two kids running around, that was very much appreciated. We are extremely happy with the results and plan to utilize his services when we move to a new home this summer. We definitely give interior images an all around A.

Chris did a great job. We used several different kinds of paint for the various surfaces (flat, semi-gloss, eggshell, oil-based for the stairs, etc.) so there was a good amount of trim work that needed to be done. He cleaned up well and also installed stair railing for us on a old plaster wall with no damage to the surface. Very happy with the work - we would hire again.

Chris did some painting for me and provided an estimate at that time to do the tile work. His schedule was pretty booked so it took a month to get this work scheduled. Chris did a great job in my foyer, and replaced the baseboard after adding the tile. They did a good job in the bathroom as well as the tile took a long time to adhere. His crew cleaned up when finished fairly well.

Chris has a great attitude and is a super nice guy. For those reasons alone, give my experiences, we will hire him again. His efforts for us as a contract painter have been fairly priced and well done. His participation in an apartment renovation, though slightly over budget and over schedule, have also turned out well. Overall resourceful and talented.

My husband and I were very pleased with Chris's work. He was quick to respond to our initial call and gave us a quote on the spot. We received 3 quotes and he gave us the best price. Chris was able to start the same week he gave the quote & completed the job in one day. If you need a painter, we highly recommend Chris and his staff.

Chris was on time, polite, and knowledgeable. The painter for my job (Don) did great work and completed the entire project in 2 days. There were a few touch-ups needed, which Chris immediately took care of when he came to walk through and collect the final payment. Overall, I was very pleased with the project.

He was just great! He can paint for me anytime and I will definitely have him back. He did an excellent job!

Outstanding job! The woodwork is beautiful-everything that I had hoped for. Chris was very realistic and upfront with me on everything - that was much appreciated. Him and Tom were also very courteous and always cleaned up after their work day ended. I have been preaching about the work they did ever since - I would definitely hire them again.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH CHRIS' WORK. HE GOT THE JOB DONE WITHIN 2 DAYS AND HE CHARGED LESS THAN OTHERS LISTED UNDER THE PAINTING CATEGORY. HE IS DOWN TO EARTH AND IS FLEXIBLE TO YOUR SCHEDULE. THE ONLY POINT TO REMEMBER IS TO REMIND HIM TO COVER THE CARPET AT ALL TIMES WHILE HE IS PAINTING, AND TO FOLLOW UP WITH HIM PROACTIVELY TO DETERMINE WHEN HE WILL BE COMING TO DO THE JOB.

MR. MAUL WAS ON TIME, HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS TRUTHFULLY. HE WAS POLITE AND EAGER TO PLEASE. HE WOULD CHECK IN WITH ME AND MY HUSBAND FROM TIME TO TIME AND ASKED IF WE LIKED THE WORK SO FAR. HIS WORK WAS NOT SLOPPY AND I COULD SEE IT WAS IMPORTANT TO HIM TO PLEASE US. I LIKED THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK AND WAS IMPRESSED ON HOW FAST HE GOT THE JOB DONE. I WILL RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.

EXTREMELY EFFICIENT WITH NO MESS AND WAS VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. I RECOMMENDED HIM TO ANOTHER FAMILY MEMBER WHO NEEDS WORK DONE.
