Kamil and his team were professional and competent. He worked with our architect closely and was very detail-oriented. He anticipated some minor problems which facilitated completion of the project. He routinely contacted me to provide updates. His workers were extraordinarily neat, always cleaned up area after work. While the work was not completed in estimated time, this was NOT due to Kamil's team. I would recommend him to anyone without reservation (and have already). We will be using him/his company again when we refurbish our third floor. He is a true professional and a truly nice guy.

This was a great experience. Based on the positive reviews on Ideal Remodeling on Angie's List, I expected a positive outcome for my condo kitchen remodel. And I wasn't disappointed. In addition to the great job Kamil and his team did for me, I particularly liked Kamil's responsiveness. He always promptly got back to me if I had a question about anything. I hope that is a practice he never ever stops. Some contractors don't seem to realize how important it is to someone who is putting out thousands of dollars to hear back promptly from the person they are paying their monies to. Plus, he was very reasonably priced. I liked my existing cabinets and floor, and didn?t want those changed, so I could splurge on materials like my granite choice, sink, fixtures, wallpaper, etc. My splurge on materials is what made this a more expensive project than it ordinarily would have been, but even then, Kamil helped me contain costs. I had other things in my place that I wanted new, but Kamil was able to easily repair, and save me money. Then there was the time when I said, just leave something as is because I thought it?d be too much trouble to change, and he came up with a way to incorporate the change, without a lot of additional costs. He finished the job on schedule, did a great clean up, and left me with a beautiful new kitchen. I am definitely using the Ideal Remodeling team again.

Kamil and his crew are amazing. Kamil is a perfectionist and is dedicated to the project. They worked straight through without leaving the job for days like other contractors. Kamil would consult with us during the project and would help us decide on almost everything...when we told him to do something and he thought it was not good he would let us know in a very nice way that there is a better way to handle the situation and we would always follow his advice. We are constantly getting compliments on the work that he did. We have other projects that we intend on hiring him to do as the money becomes available. The biggest regret is when they completed the project we came to feel that Kamil was part of our family! But his work will be a constant reminder to us of a company that did quality work at a reasonable price.

Kamil and his team were terrific. I am very happy with the work that has been completed in my condo. Kamil went out of his way to make sure everything was done to my specifications. The building I live in has many strict rules and he was able to complete all of the requests of condo association without any issues. All of the work was very professional and passed the City of Chicago inspection no problem. Everyone that has seen the remodeling work is very impressed. I would definitely use Kamil again and I would have no hesitation to recommend him to my family and friends. Great Job!

I'm very pleased with the work that Kamil and his crew did. He was very courteous, prompt and professional, and went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable with the whole process and satisfied with the finished work. He worked closely with me from the beginning to clearly define the scope and create a detailed quote. Although I had a fairly detailed plan for the design of my bathroom, Kamil's experience was valuable for fleshing out the little details that create beautiful results. My bathroom looks absolutely amazing now and it was a pleasure working with him... thanks Kamil!

The estimate was very detailed. Provider was friendly and courteous in helping us figure out our bathroom remodel. The price was too high for the time being.

From the moment I emailed to get an estimate, Kamil was a dedicated professional. He provided a prompt and detailed estimate highlighting all the services being performed and he humored me when I made changes during the project. Kamil is a perfectionist and made sure he rerouted all the pipes in my tub area to center them within the tub itself. He also made sure all the tiles were centered within each wall and even continued the tiling design within my shower niche to match those tiles around it. Being in a vintage building provided quite a few challenges with the uneven floors and the wavy walls - Kamil did an excellent job compensating for all these issues, leveling the bathtub with extra mortar and reworking a few tiles. He was also very thorough with clean-up each day and disposing of trash. I am extremely happy with the finished product and would definitely rehire Ideal Remodeling for future projects.

We have used IR in the past for our bath remodel last May. The project was nicely done and on time and budget. So we decided to go with them again when remodeling our basement. The project manager was very attentive, and directed the project smoothly. We received a lot of insight while deciding what materials to use. We also got tips as far as our specific situation, and what would work better for us based on our basement. After working with them multiple times we know we could trust them and their work. We look forward to working with IR on more projects in the near future.

I hired Ideal Remodeling for my master bath project. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and was delighted with the responsiveness of Kamil. He is a gold star in my book! Details: I pre-purchased items for the bath, namely tiles and vanities. All items were scheduled to arrive at the onset of the project, however, they did not. The design I originally had in mind for the bath flooring left me short on tiles. And to make matters worse, some of the tile I'd purchased were a fraction smaller than I needed (which Kamil explained). Ideal was flexible. Kamil assisted with re-working my original plan and it turned out beautifully!! I installed a different tile on the shower and tub floor to preserve my main tile. For the smaller tile which was part of my design scheme, Kamil and his team cut tiles to fit my design perfectly. They also made small changes to vanities at my request and kept me grounded with costs to remain within budget. They arrived early daily to prep and get started. The team covered my hardwoods so they would not get damaged by the work, and were always courteous and helpful. They also did not mind being under the constant and watchful eye of my pup as they continued with the project while I was at work. Dos: 1. Clear out the traffic area completely! Access to my bath was through my bedroom and closets (for which I do not have doors). Drywall dust everywhere even though they covered door openings, vacuumed often, and tried to contain drywall dust to bath - it went everywhere. 2. It would have been a good idea to plan my project WITH my contractor to ensure I had the right items and the right quantity for the project at its start. Follow up: Kamil called to check in after the completion of the project to ensure all was well and to make sure I was happy. I am happy indeed. He came back to punch list a few items (adjusting vanity shelving) and other items that were not in scope (Kamil noticed I had a heavy mirror leaning against my fireplace as if bored - he suggested reinforcing the wall and later came to do such and hang it for me!). I also have a second bath and plan to have new fixtures replaced - I will definitely call Kamil at Ideal Remodeling for help with this as well. Great team. I love my new bath!!

Kitchen - Drywall - Floors - Cabinets - Granite Counter Tops - New Sink/Plumbing - Backsplash - Drop Lighting - New Paint The contractors were very professional and did their best to fulfill all our requests. We also used them to expand our small bedroom into a bigger master bedroom. The results where fantastic!

I hired Ideal Remodeling toward the beginning of summer for a complete kitchen remodel. They helped me plan my project and began work immediately. After replacing my floors and cabinets they helped me pick an amazing backsplash that really brought the kitchen together. Once that was complete I proceeded to hire them to repaint the rest of my home. The results were fantastic!

Everything was finished ahead of schedule with extreme precision. I couldn't be happier with the final results. Highly recommended!

My entryway is two stories tall and quite large since it also includes the upstairs and downstairs hallways. It was an ugly green and had many imperfections (dings, dents and holes). Ideal Remodeling patched, sanded, primed and painted, all in the correct order, and now the entryway is a sexy sandstone color with a darker color being on the main wall. I could tell the pride they take in their work via the multiple times they re-patched and re-sanded after they already finished painting. I appreciate this because when I notice an imperfection I will obsess over it for quite some time. I also am very anal about the straightness of the lines where the colored paint meets the white ceiling paint. My lines are as perfect as the drywall they are on and this is something I can never accomplish myself. 5 stars all the way around!
