I have a 2 year contract with the ISP and over all it has been pretty rough. 3 weeks after the install by MR. Masterman rain water messed up the eye of the satellite because the gasket wasn't installed correctly and 2 very nice repairmen fixed it and suggested it to be relocated to a pole. It is now going on a year since install and no one seems to care about us being a customer. The CEO called us with threats of jail if we didn't remove complaint that Regina Huchens from Angie's List helped us file. Mom was told over the phone on 12-4-12 that install fee waived and an upgrade to GEN4 would be installed, but they didn't have the order number recorded in their system and they didn't ask for account number so we can place order. Also they charge $5.00 for a paper bill added to charges on bill, school tax, air tax, and residential tax, rent equipment tax is $9.99 itself, and all for bad service. WARNING STAY AWAY FROM HUGHES NET. Go to WILD BLUE ISP. The company will be reported to www.scambook.com and the BBB as well when we can. As of 12-23-12 I got a nasty virus from my ISP and it costs well over $600.00 for pc repairs. Still no upgrade and my restore tokens are missing and they won't replace them.
