In July, I had him replace both my garge door springs. He was rather rude, but seemed to do a good job, although he insisted my garage door opener was going bad and needed to be replaced. Last week (Jan.) I actually did start to have problems with it. When I called the Genie troubleshooting line they said it was because the springs weren't balanced properly and the door opener was cranked all the way up to 7 (Max). The springs were still under warranty so I called him. He came back out, denied everything and refused to fix the problem. He also said he was an authorized dealer of Genie parts, then tried to charge me 30 dollars for a part Genie say is 23 dollars with shipping.

The service from Simon at Home of Garage Doors was professional and outstanding. I called at 11 am and they arrived by 1 pm. Simon called me on the way to the appointment, he was on time, quickly repaired the broken spring, adjusted the door and lubricated the rollers. His price was fair and I highly recommend the service.
