The installation was slow. The door was not properly ordered. Installation was needed to be re schedule before the new door came and it will take 3 weeks.

The price was good. I had no problem with them, I just bought the door from them. I like them. The workers were good.

They got the job done but with lots of problems including a mistake which I had to find a solution for since they could only board the hole up and get another window.

There was an issue with the installation and they came back and made sure it was fine.

First thing that needed to happen was someone had to come out and measure for the door, that took a week and a half by the time I was able to get the guy out there. Then I went back to Home Depot once he got the measurements from the installer. The initial quote I got the door was on sale, but by the time I went to buy the door the sale had ended. Home Depot honored the quote they gave me during the sale. So I ordered the door, this took about 4 weeks. The installer called me set up the appointment to install, got there that day on time, actually early. When all was said and done, the door, its new hardware fit perfectely. The crew that installed it was great and were in and out of my place in about an hour and a half, leaving no mess. All I have to do is paint it . . . maybe I will hire someone from Angies list to do that!

When Ann walked into our old kitchen for the first time, she looked it over and said "I see how you use your kitchen. Is there anything you'd like to change"? This sounds unremarkable unless, like us, you'd already been appalled by designers who said things like "You don't need that window. In my design it will be blocked up," or "Let's move that door" (by cutting a big hole in a 100-year-old wall with who knows what in the way of pipes and other surprises inside it). Ann maintained this attitude of listening to us throughout the design process, while still providing her design expertise and extensive product knowledge. In the Home Depot process, you get several meetings with the designer. For each meeting Ann had points to cover to move the design along. She made sure we stayed on track and left with decisions made or specific choices to consider, yet without pressuring us to make a decision we weren't ready for. It was very helpful to have her steering us through the choices and coming up with items from the Home Depot shelves that we wouldn't necessarily have found by ourselves. The finished kitchen is beautiful, functional, and in keeping with the style of the house. I recommend talking to Ann about your kitchen project.

The installers were very prompt and very quick.

Horrible. Paid $30.00 for measurements. Took 2 weeks for Home Depot to get the measurements from the installer and give me an estimate. Estimate was for doors I did not want and were twice the price - their reason was the doors I wanted did not come in the size I needed - they are custom cut doors - I called the manufacturer for the doors I wanted and was told I could get the doors in the size I needed - nice trick to get you to buy more expensive doors. I was first told it would take 2-1/2 weeks to get the doors and then after waiting 2 weeks for the estimate was told it would take 4-6 weeks for a total of 6-8 weeks. Also, the install fee is absolutely outrageous and I had another installer re-measure to find Home Depot installer had the wrong measurements.

Very badly. The sales pitch was great --- the delivery of product and services miserable. The doors were installed four weeks after the promised date. One door damaged. Special order door was wrong size.

I liked that I could go to the store and pick out the water heater that I wanted. I also liked that the person Home Depot sent out was friendly and did a good job of removing the old unit. I'm not sure of the total, but it was on sale so it was a good deal.

I like that we never run out of hot water anymore. I wish I would have had this done years ago. Home Depot was great at getting someone out to do this and I would not hesitate to recommend this service to everyone I know.

A new storm door was installed on 11/22/06. On 11/23/06, I noticed that the sweep at the bottom was sticking out at the side about 3-4 inches from its original location. I notified the store about the situation. I was told to call the Installation Department. 1-2 weeks later, another installer came out replaced the sweep at the bottom. He assured me that it would stay and would no longer present a problem. Two days after this adjustment, the sweep again started working its way out of its proper location. To date it is sticking out about 15-18inches. I have called Home Depot and the Installation Dept about the problem. On at least 3 occasions, an installer was supposed to correct the situation never showed up. I have talked to the manager and a salesperson, but to date, no one has corrected this situation with the sweep. I get the impression that the manager in this store can exert little authority over the sub-contractor installer.

Ordering was easy. It's the installation process and associated communications that was the problem. Twice the doors arrived and installation appointment scheduled. Minutes before the scheduled installation I received a call from the installer sayng the doors were damaged and HD would need to reorder a new set of doors. I got fed up after the second call and got my refund from HD.

Carpet Associate was very helpful regarding info on outdoor carpeting. Decided to paint instead.

THIS WAS QUICK & EASY. I PICKED OUT THE CARPET, DESCRIBED THE STAIRWELL, & WITHIN A FEW WEEKS FOLKS FROM HOME DEPOT HAD COME TO THE HOUSE, TAKEN MEASUREMENTS, REMOVED MY OLD CARPET & INSTALLED THE NEW ONE. I WOULD HAVE LIKED A LITTLE MORE HELP CHOOSING THE REPLACEMENT CARPET IN STORE.

HOME DEPOT SENT OUT A YOUNG MAN TO INSTALL THE DOOR. HE WAS ON TIME AND VERY FRIENDLY. HE DID A GREAT JOB INSTALLING THE NEW DOOR. HE TOOK HIS TIME TO BE SURE THE DOOR WAS LEVEL AND DID NOT RUB.

WENT TO PURCHASE PROPANE - DID NOT KEEP IN STOCK AT THIS LOCATION.
