They were pretty prompt. my experience with them was a positive.

Hollub crew noticed corroding pipes while doing annual inspection and service of boiler before doing winter start-up. After getting a second estimate on the work which was $250 higher than Hollub's maximum estimate, their team came out and replaced all the corroded pipe in 5 hours, which was right within their estimate of 4-6 hours. Very professional team, explaining exactly what had to be done before any work started, and made sure our boiler was able to operate safely before leaving.

When I have a problem, I call them. They are the ones who installed the heating and I have been using them for about 30 years. They've been in business for a very long time. I call them because I trust what they tell me. The workers are an A.

Hollub is fabulous! You got to be happy with that! It was not expensive. I think it was like $100 to have them come out and then if they had to fix anything, of course it was whatever they had to pay to get it fixed. Remember, it?s also servicing two units in a building, not just one home, it was a 2-flat. We sold last June, so the last time I actually used them would have been Spring of 2016. They were always top-notch. There was no area that they didn?t make me feel good about. My husband said, ?old Hollub is fantastic!? They worked with us for like 20 years for almost the whole time we owned the 2 flats. They never did more than what was necessary, they put top-notch stuff in, never charged us. They?re a good company. If you need that type of service, I would recommend them. Hollub used to maintained the heating and plumbing at our old place.

Reliable experience. They found out what the problem was and they fixed it right away. I think he had somebody bring him parts while he started working. He left the area fine. They are very responsive. You make an appointment and they respond immediately. They are always going to be there when they say they are.

Everything was done very professionally , quickly, and the cost of the repair was reasonable. Will definitely work with Hollub Heating, Inc again when needed.

I had 4 bids including Hollub's. 2 were higher and one lower than theirs. They used one crew to remove the old boiler & install the new one. A 2nd crew did the pipefitting and a 3 did the wiring & electronics. It took 3 days and the coordination was superb. They were always responsive to phone calls & emails. Their crews were very knowledgeable and professional with no guesswork.

The service is excellent. They are great and are an old company. They are very very knowledgeable. The workers are clean, prompt and professional. Their is nothing bad I can say about them. They installed an energy efficient furnace and they did all the paper work for me for the rebate.

Overall they did a good job in a reasonable price and length of time. I would use them in the future.

My experience was excellent. They showed up. They seem to know exactly what they were doing. They knew how to identify what the problem was. The guy was really nice and inspectful. He was clean. He was very responsive for everything. They were very honest.

Charged me for nothing and misrepresented what services they provide.

Called for service on our air conditioner that had quit cooling. We've used Hollub for over 20 years and in the past have been satisfied. We expected that the coolant needed to be filled up, as usual. The man who came said he'd found the problem and that it would take 30 minutes to repair after he came back with a replacement part. He left and returned promptly. Then he broke something. He worked on it for the remainder of the day and all day then next. The air conditioner was cooling when he left. However, it would NEVER cycle off. The only way we can turn the air conditioner off is to flip the switch on the circuit breaker. We complained and again told them that we'd pay to have the unit replaced. We received an estimate for replacement and were considering it when we received a bill for almost $800 for the day plus it took the man to break our air conditioner. We considered this outrageous because he'd broken it, and we still can't turn it off except at the circuit breaker. We reviewed Hollub on Yelp. Then without billing us a 2nd time, Hollub turned us over to a collection agency. We negotiated down to $700. We still must find someone to service our air conditioning and heating systems to replace Hollub. It seemed that despite our past good relationship with Hollub and without discussion or negotiation, Hollub preferred to terminate our relationship.

They are wonderful. They are highly professional and reliable. They are in this business for a long time. I have been very satisfied with their people.

They are very reliable, timely and prompt. They are very professional and friendly. I have not had any problems with my furnace. They are competitive and do run specials.

Never called to confirm. Upon calling the company on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I gave up on them. This is not the first time calls were not returned or schedules were honored.

They came right away in the morning and they had the boiler fixed within an hour, so we were very happy. We have been using them for years with our heater and water heater and they have always done an excellent job for us.

They did a terrible job. The joints were misplaced. I had to reseal the ducts because they were misplaced. The price was good, but their work was really bad. I was unimpressed with them. I would not hire them again.

My air conditioner was leaking, so I called Hollub. The first technician determined that the drain line was clogged and replaced the pipe. I paid $221. A few days later, the unit leaked again. The second technician who came out told me that the problem was more serious, that the pan which catches condensation was rotted. At minimum, I needed a new coil, and perhaps a whole new unit. Mike Hollub came out the next day, a Friday, to provide an estimate. He told me that he would email me an estimate over that weekend. No estimate arrived over the weekend, or the next week, despite three phone calls to the company. I have three small children, and we could not wait any longer. I hired another company (All Temp) to install a new air conditioner and condenser. Ten days after the estimate was promised, I received it. By then, the work was already completed. I asked for my $221 back from Hollub, since their technician did not fix the problem. I have received no response.

The technician was prompt and efficient. He taught me how to check and replace my A/C filter, watched me complete the task and made recommendations regarding the proper filter for our unit and how often we should replace the filter. Very thorough and professional without being condescending. I would definitely use Hollub Heating and Air Conditioning again!

Ok.They did a fairly cursory check of the unit. They were most helpful in identifying the need to refill the coolant. Unfortunately they could not help in finding the leak. We were told that would require another visit and more money. The basic cost was $79 for the first 1/2 hour then we were charged an additional $45 for the second 1/2 hour the person's time. Then we were charged $15 per pound for the coolant. We were told that a "pressure check" to determine where the leak was might cost $200-$300. It took a very long time to schedule it. We had to book it six weeks ahead of time.

The pilot light for the furnace would not stay lit. We called Hollub (service sticker was on the furnace). A repair technician arrived w/in an hour, quickly identified the problem and fixed the issue so we thought. 4 weeks later, same problem. This technician arrives within an hour but speaks very little English. After an hour he tells us I not know what is problem very concerning since he is supposed to be the professional. After another 30 min he claims it is the thermostat which he replaces, but that does not fix the problem! Then he replaces the gas valve and finally it is working but makes me wonder if we even needed the thermostat which we were charged $90 for! I called the office to argue the time that I was charged for the 2nd trip and thermostat. I was told that they will look into it and call me back. I do not hear anything for more than 2 weeks when I receive a call about a past-due balance! I will not be using this company for any future repairs!

THE CREW WAS THOROUGH AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME. THEY WERE ALSO PATIENT WITH THE TIME LINE OF OUR CONDO ASSOCIATION AND SENSITIVE TO THE FACT THAT IT WAS GOING TO GET COLD REALLY SOON. A LITTLE BIT OF A HASSLE GETTING THINGS SCHEDULED BUT WHEN THEY DID COME THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. STILL HELPING US TWEAK THE SYSTEM AND BE SURE IT IS WORKING EFFICIENTLY. THEY ALSO SALVAGED PARTS FROM THE OLD BOILER THAT WERE IN GOOD SHAPE TO SAVE US MONEY ON FUTURE REPAIRS.
