Description of Work: I had 4 bucket seats from a 1970's kitchen set reupholstered. They look wonderful and are so comfortable with the new foam seat cushions they used. Their quote for the job was the same as another reupholsterer, but Hector's had such a greater choice of colors and textures of vinyl. I am very happy with their work and they are a pleasure to do business with.

Description of Work: Hector modified my sofa and made it look as if it was originally built that way. He also restuffed my cushions, making my sofa more firm which makes it much more comfortable on my back and gave the sofa that "new" look once again.

+ -1 moreHector picked up the chair from a family members house near his shop. I stopped by a few weeks later where his son helped me pick out a fabric and offered some suggestions. They both told me some things about the chair that I did not know telling me it was somewhat of a conversation piece in the store. Their knowledge and expertise was appreciated very much. The chair was done promptly and nicely for a great price and delivered to my home. Hector is so nice, such a gentleman. The entire experience was pleasant and problem free. Both he and his son are such artisans and were extremely helpful and responsive in every way.
Description of Work: Hector reupholstered a vintage chair that I had owned since the seventies. This chair was hand carved out of a single piece of I beliveve cedar. It is a one of a kind and was in original condition.

+ -1 moreAfter receiving a higher quote I was referred to this location by a friend. Upon entering the location we were greeted by friendly people who looked at the rocking chair and quickly provided a quote and time frame for delivery of about a week. One week later I received a call that the chair was complete and ready for pickup. I went to the location to inspect the chair and complete the transaction. I was impressed with the finished product, and was in and out of the store quickly. My grandson is very happy with his favorite color chair that was once mine, and I am very happy with the service received.

+ -1 moreI was looking for someone to remake 5 couch cushion covers for which I was providing the material and reusing the old cushions. I just needed the covers made. When he told me the cost would be $75 per cushion; and my response was surprise, I disappointedly said, "Oh my, I could almost buy a new couch for that price." (($375 plus tax, etc.) He then immediately became very rude to me waving his hand in a motion towards the door saying I needed to leave and go and try to see if I could find it somewhere cheaper. WOW! My price range was closer to $50 per cushion, and I would have considered the $75, since I like the couch so much, but this guy didn't even give me a chance! He immediately got rude with me because I expressed disappointment over the price. If there is anything that pushes my buttons, it's when someone is charging top dollar for something, AND they think they can treat you like crap...bad, bad experience with this guy!
