Heatmasters has been a family owned business since 1950 providing state of the art service to our customers. We have been able to maintain our high level of customer service by always investing in our customer oriented employees. We have two divisions to serve the needs and desires of our customer base. Our residential division serves the heating and cooling needs of homeowners in the Chicagoland area. We pride ourselves in taking the same level of care for the smallest to the largest of projects. Our Mechanical Contracting Division serves the mechanical needs of our commercial, industrial and institutional clients. Our professional staff strives to meet our clients' objectives by providing timely, cost effective solutions. In our 60 years of servicing Chicago and the surrounding suburbs many things have changed, but there is one thing that remains constant. We have grown and flourished by remaining consistent to our core principle of placing our customers’ needs first.

Great - would hire again
Description of Work: A/C condsenor was not cooling. After having multiple HVAC companies out they discovered they thermostat wires and high voltage wires were crossed to another unit. They brought the units up to speed on maintenance and fixed the wiring issues

Description of Work: We have used this company several times and have been extremely satisfied. When our fan motor went out on the weekend they dispatched a technician within a couple of hours and the part was ordered so that it could be installed on Monday morning. Both Saturday's technician and Justin who did the repair were professional and courteous.

Description of Work: New furnace and new air conditioner. Heatmasters arrived on time and completed the installation in 8 hours, removed the old furnace and air conditioner and clean up. They made all the required test to made sure the furnace and air conditioner was working properly

THEY CALL AFTER WORK TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS GOING WELL AND THEY EVEN CALLED US TO REMIND US THAT WE NEEDED TO GET OUR BOILER CLEANED. I REALLY APPRECIATED THE CALL BECAUSE WE HAVEN'T HAD OUR BOILER CHECKED OUT SINCE WE'VE LIVED HERE AND I'M SURE IT IS NEEDED. THEY DID A FINE JOB AND THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. HOWEVER, THEY DIDN''T FIX ONE OF THE TWO PROBLEMS I HAD THE FIRST TRIP OUT, SO THEY HAD TO COME BACK ANOTHER DAY. THIS WAS ANNOYING AS IT NECESSITATED TWO DAYS OF STAYING HOME FROM WORK TO GET A FAIRLY SIMPLE PROBLEM FIXED.

JOHN LILLIS WAS AN EXCEPTIONALLY RESPONSIVE SALES CONSULTANT. HE SPENT QUITE A BIT OF TIME EXAMINING OUR OLD SYSTEM AND EXPLAINING ALL OF OUR OPTIONS. MARLON AND HIS TEAM DID A FABULOUS JOB.
Description of Work: WE HAD A 30 YEAR-OLD FURNACE AND NON-FUNCTIONING AIR CONDITIONER REPLACED. THE TOTAL PRICE INCLUDED A WHOLE SYSTEM WITH: FURNACE, AC, ELECTRONIC AIR PURIFIER, HUMIDIFIER, HOT WATER HEATER, THERMOSTAT, LABOR, AND MATERIAL. THE WHOLE JOB TOOK 2 GUYS 3 DAYS TO COMPLETE. THEY DID A FABULOUS JOB CONSIDERING THE STUFF THEY HAD TO REMOVE AND REPLACE. WE''D RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN.

THE SERVICE PERSON CALLED TO FIND OUT WHAT BRAND OF FURNACE AND PUMP WE HAD BEFORE COMING OUT. FORTUNATELY HE HAD THE REPLACEMENT PART IN STOCK. HE ARRIVED AS ESTIMATED AND DID THE REPAIR IN NO TIME. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE PRICE. I KNOW IT WAS AN EMERGENCY CALL BUT THE REPLACEMENT PART COST $20 OR LESS AND IT ONLY TOOK 30-40 MINUTES TO REPAIR. $285 SEEMS A BIT STEEP.

Description of Work: ANCIENT BOILER DIED AT 1PM ... HEATMASTERS TECH WAS HERE AT 6 PM AND APOLOGIZED FOR HIS ''LATENESS.'' ! OUR PROBLEM WAS WITH THE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE - THEY NEVER ORDERED THE PART, EVEN AFTER WE HAD CALLED THREE TIMES TO CHECK ON IT! Description of Work: I BOUGHT A 100 YEAR OLD HOUSE SEVEN YEARS AGO THAT WAS COMPLETELY REHABBED. MY HOT WATER HEATER NEEDED REPLACING, AND WHEN THE PLUMBER CAME TO CHECK OUT THE JOB, SAW THAT THEY PUT IN THE FURNACE AFTER THE HOT WATER HEATER AND THE FURNACE NEEDED TO BE TAKEN APART BEFORE THE HOT WATER HEATER COULD BE REPLACED. WHEN I CALLED HEATMASTERS JIM COX CAME OUT TO INSPECT THE JOB. HE TOLD ME THAT HIS COMPANY COULD DO THE WHOLE JOB AND I HIRED THEM. WHEN THEY CAME OUT TO DO THE JOB, THE WORKMEN SAW THAT THERE WAS POSSIBLY GOING TO BE A BIG PROBLEM AND THAT THIS WAS NOT TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION IN THE ESTIMATE. HIS SUPERVISOR TOLD HIM TO GO AHEAD AND DO WHATEVER HE HAD TO DO TO GET THE JOB DONE AND HE HELD TO THE ESTIMATE. IT WAS A QUALITY JOB DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY.
