4 visits later the brand new AC units seem (fingers crossed) to be functioning. Challenging to reach by phone and only service provider that can support the type of AC units that my condo requires.

I've been going to them for 30 years. They've been doing work in this house for 30 years. They've been doing work in this house for 30 years; I haven't personally been dealing with them for 30 years. It was fine. Because of our long relationship, they gave me a discount. The price has to be an "A" because he gave me a $600 discount. They do my yearly maintenance plan in the fall. They come and check it out that and the hot water heater. It's the same guys, I know them all by names.
Description of Work: They were putting in a new furnace for me.

We recently had several estimates from local Bryant dealers to install a new furnace, central air, remove old boiler, remove radiators, and add new duct work to our 100+ year old home. John came out and walked us through several different scenarios that would work in the house. Although sometimes I didn't understand the lingo he was using, when I asked him to repeat it he did and was able to explain things in great detail. He was there for over an hour to help us locate the best possible places to put duct work. This was important because it's not necessarily easy to just throw duct work in an old home. When he came in with the bid we had a couple of choices. John took into consideration our budget and the scope of the project to give us choice that would work. Pricing is competitive. We ultimately chose Heat Cool over other companies because of the time they spent with us to make sure we were comfortable with the scope of the project. The project itself went very smoothly. Even though they had to be there an extra day or so it didn't matter as we were not living in the house yet. His crew is excellent. They always cleaned up at the end of the day and also answered my never ending load of questions. They took time to not damage our nice hardwood floors as well. The best parts include: 1) The crew moved a duct when the project was almost complete because I didn't like the location. I thought this was excellent. No hassle, no questions, they just did it. I wasn't even upset at the location I just had mentioned that I wished it wasn't there. Came back the next day and it was moved!! 2) John and his crew removed some old gas lines that used to light the home so we could move on with our bathroom remodel. He checked to make sure they were not active and cut it out for us. 3) As a teacher, I enjoyed watching John explain things to one of his guys and the best way to put something together. 4) They were able to save pieces of my old maple hardwood so I could use them to patch the holes from the old radiators! They also saved several pieces of trim that I need to reuse for other projects. 5) John also came over on a Saturday to walk me through the furnace, the humidifier, and the water heater. This is great in case of emergencies. I can speak to them being the place to go for a big job that requires time, patience, and an educated staff as they were top notch.
