Excellent. Worked w/Bill from Hardy Glass Block over the phone. Sent pictures and promptly received an estimate. Agreed to Estimate. Bill stayed on top of scheduling and service. 2 Glass blocks removed and a bigger privacy window was installed. Very pleased and would definitely recommend.

Took over a month and a dozen phone calls for them to end up telling me they can't do work on the 2nd story of a building that is less than 3 feet away from the neighboring building. Total waste of time and effort. Unprofessional, unhelpful. No follow-up at all (always me calling to ask what the next step would be). Definitely would not recommend for homes in the city.

The installers were very courteous. They arrived on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up the area before they left. I am very satisfied with the job and would definitely recommend this company.

Impressed with Angie'sList posting, called and booked an appointment for the next day (Hardy planned to be in my neighborhood). I received a call after the assessment; Jim was extremely professional and helpful. He explained that given the location of my window, it exceeds their height restrictions, but did ask me a series of questions and asked for interior photos of the window. After review, he suggested an alternative cost-effective repair solution. Unfortunately, the manufacturer of my vent discontinued this style some time ago so I couldn't follow down the straight path Jim suggested, but I still appreciated the effort he made to help me. Will definitely keep Hardy on file for future glass block needs.

They don't really ask questions, they just throw something up and hope you can't tell a difference. Some minute details that you actually might care about, they won't necessarily discuss with you, they just kind of do that thing and if you're smart enough to figure it out, then you have the conversation with them. They will try to fix it, but they don't ask or tell. I would've preferred they had asked.

I hired them to put in a glass block window but job never happened. The first issue was that they did not schedule the appointment as agreed. The next was they came to the job site with not enough equipment. The last straw was coming again but forgot equipment again. I cancelled the job and got a refund. They may do great work and were nice enough, however, I would not recommend them.

Well. Had 8 block windows installed in basement, 4 of them with vents. Took approximately 4 hours with 3 workers. Workers were friendly and professional.

I have him come out twice a year. He is very honest and efficient.

The final result appears to be fine, but the customer service left much to be desired. When I made the appointment for the installation I specified that it needed to be in the early morning. In order to accommodate me the appointment was scheduled three weeks in advance at 9:00 am on a Saturday. The installers did not arrive until 2:20 pm. The day before the company owner/salesperson had directed them to do other jobs instead of mine and they did not bother to let me know. Furthermore, they failed to consider my request to have an early appointment. When the installers arrived at 2:30, they could not complete the job because the sales person failed to tell them that the work would be performed on a second story. They didn't have the right ladders. The installers were in no way responsible for these problems. I emailed the sales person twice about this, once at 11:30 am on Saturday when they failed to show, and again on Monday morning. I did not receive a response until after the second email. The sales person should have been available on Saturday.

Bill was able to provide me with a quote by just sending him a picture. Both guys that came out to do the job were professional. They cleaned up the mess and went above and beyond what they needed to do.

Went great - removed old windows + hauled away all debris. Installed the windows with window cement - looked awesome when done. Everything was cleaned up and looked pristine. Very professional work.

I contraced Hardy to install glass block windows for my basement. It was 4 windows in 2 large openings, about 5 1/2 feet by 2 1/2 feet each. After calling on a Monday, I had an estimate by Wednesday, and the windows were installed the following week. The crew was great, they cleaned up afterwards, and the windows look great! They were done in about 4 hours. I wish I would have done this years ago!

After the initial confusion with the person answering the phone, the experience was great. Hardy staff arrived on time, and did an excellent job on the windows. They cleaned up the debris, and the windows look great.
