Hardwood Flooring Andrei

If you want beautiful hardwood floors at a fair price from a really nice guy, Andrei is your man! We recently moved to the Chicago suburbs from out of state, and had less than three weeks from closing on our house to moving in. We needed work on all the hardwood floors in the home and the whole house interior painted. Andrei made it happen! The new floors are beautiful, and Andrei communicating, kept us updated at every step in the process, and sent pictures as the work progressed. We hired a painter Andrei recommended and they worked together to get both jobs done by our move-in date.Really great guy!

Andrei’s attention to detail was incredible. He completed the repair job quickly with a perfect match. You can’t tell the floor needed repair after severe water damage. My husband and I have never hired anyone before and were very nervous to let someone else do a job on our home. Andrei was above and beyond our expectations. Not only was he great at communicating with us, he was very prompt, very flexible, and did our job in four days! Our basement floor was very uneven and he figured out ways to help us and make the vinyl plank flooring work with our basement. Andrei was able to lay new flooring in a couple of rooms of our house. He was responsible, showed up every morning, and worked all day until the project was finished. He did a good job joining multiple floor types on a not-so-level surface.

Andrei is an experienced craftsman. He understood why our floors were squeaking so badly and knew just how to fix the problem. We are SO happy with our new quiet home! I have a video of the completed work, but the format was not compatible with this review. Sad, because it is a perfect picture of the finished project.

It was very easy to schedule. He brought materials into the condo for me to look at, and used an app to show me what different options might look like in the room. The work was done within a day when his team came, and they left everything clean. He also left a few planks in case of future damage. Working with him was very easy, he was straightforward and punctual, no surprises. He was also very reasonably priced compared to other options. I will definitely be reaching out to him again for future flooring needs.

From start to finish Andrei was a true professional! His quote was fair and reasonable. What set him apart from people I have hired in the past is his punctuality and professionalism. He was always early and work was amazing. He repaired the damaged wood floors exceptionally and the refinish turned out amazing. You cannot tell there was damage from 5 years ago and after he sanded and finished the whole unit, it looked brand new. I would recommend Andrei to all my friends and family in the Chicago area and well as people looking for a professional that will put a lot of work into a project and leave it amazing.

It was excellent and wonderful. They are professional, efficient, gave me a good price, and did an excellent job.

His job was to install new closet in the room and install new door which he quoted me 800 for plus 1500 for installing new floor. Deal was 1500 for floor to be paid 50% cash up front and 50% credit card at the end. SubContractor he hired for installing new closet and door couldn’t honor what he promised so he brought new person who charged me 1200 (400 more than original quote) So I had to pay that. There was some extra job that we didn’t count on and didn’t know we will experience For example we found a phone cable that had to be buried in the floor and he had to install new 2x4s for new door support. After I already paid 1200 for closet and patching (instead Of originally 800) somewhat in the middle of the project he told me that I need to pay 800 more for extra job he had to do. I tried to negotiate with him but he started packing his tolls and started threatening me with leaving so I had to agree to pay 800$ extra. Later on he told me 500 would be fine. He finished the floor but he didn’t want to accept to pay rest of 50% with credit card. I offered then check it Venmo or zelle but he instated on cash so I had to go find two atms and withdraw cash. Due to corona virus two cabinets were delayed arriving so two walls couldn’t be finished so we agreed once my delivery is done he would come to install missing baseboard. Once that was delivered he got mad that I hired another contractor to install my cabinets so he refused to come and finish his project that I paid for. On the top of that floor is already detaching.
