Todd Connaughton did a great job. He is thorough and explains what he is doing and was very professional in his approach. Definitely will use for any electrical work we need going forward.

Todd was incredible. He was so easy to work with and amazingly got the chandelier wired correctly and fixed an additional wiring issue he noted when he was there. He got this turned around in an hour! I have had nightmare experiences with a handyman service, trying to manage long distance and was reticent about doing this electrical work long distance, but it could not have gone better! Hardt Electric and Todd were wonderful, professional, efficient and trustworthy. You cannot get better than that!! Use this business, you'll be glad you did!

It was great - Todd was the electrician and I spoke to him about what I wanted when I set the appointment. He told me the type of dimmer I needed and said I would purchase it or he could pick it up. I chose to purchase it myself. He was exactly on time for the appointment. He discussed options for what I wanted when he saw the area in my house where the work was to be done and made great suggestions. He cleaned the work area after he was done.

Todd quickly returned my call and was able to come on the same day (I called at 9:30am and he was here by 1:30). Todd was a great investigator and he found the issue (just a loose connection, in the end), and made the repair in about an hour and a half.

Todd from Hardt answered my call within 5 minutes. On the initial visit, it was discovered that the box the ceiling fan attaches to was out of date and out of code, so we arranged another visit to install a new mounting box. On the follow up visit, Todd was very careful to minimize damage to the ceiling when removing the old box and attaching the new. In fact, there was no patching needed. He worked quickly and efficiently, making sure to consult with me along the way. Things went very smoothly.

We were eager to find a provider who could do a fast turnaround, and Hardt Electric delivered on all we asked for. Electrician Todd Connaughton scheduled our service as quickly as possible (ordering materials on the same day as our call), and his visit was on time, professional, and courteous. Todd also explained the situation with regard to our particular dryer model (3-prong power cable) and implications for a future appliance replacement. Delighted with the service, and we'll definitely use Hardt again for any future work.

Todd arrived 5 minutes early for his 8am appt. time. After a brief look around our condo & discussion of details about the work that we had planned, he got right to it. He was able to park his work van right outside of our patio so any supplies that he needed were right there. Todd was very quick an efficient. He made pleasant conversation as he worked & even fixed and rewired some neutrals on an outlet that we didn't even need him to address. He was meticulous in keeping the work space clean & mindful of laying out a work tarp to place the conduit as he went. After all the work was done, in less time than we expected, we were already asking if he had time to start some additional projects that day. He was already booked for the remainder of the day, as well as, the next two weeks! After seeing what a great job he did for us, it was no wonder why. We have scheduled Todd to come back and do some outdoor electrical wiring on our patio. We are very excited to have found a true craftsperson to complete all of the projects that we have talked about doing for years. I called around 7:30 PM. Todd was able to get back to me within 10 minutes and was able to get out to my condo first thing the next morning. The problem was fixed within an hour and without hassle.

Todd did a great job installing recessed lighting in my old bungalow living room. He worked hard to finish in one day without sacrificing quality. He treated the job like it was his own house. Highly reccomend and will be my first call from know on.

Todd was on time, competent, and professional. He explained each step of the troubleshooting process, re-used parts to save time and money wherever possible, and got everything working perfectly. Our home is almost 120 years old, and we frequently have had repairmen get frustrated with the outdated and unorthodox systems in the house. Todd just worked through the weird wiring and solved the problem. He also offered advice on moving to more efficient LED lighting systems, and told me how to much of the work myself to save money. Being a first time homebuyer, I was hoping most would go according to plan. And luckily, it has been for the most part. However, one of the few issues we have had was with the brand new dryer we had installed by the retailer. It wouldn't work. It would turn on and then immediately turn off. I replaced the outlet receptacle and still had the same symptoms. I joined Angie's List looking for an electrician to potentially come out and help me figure it out. Todd at Hardt Electric Inc. did me one better... I called, he answered and was very straight forward with me, they would not be available to assist until a few days later, HOWEVER, Todd assisted me over the phone in getting the dryer fixed and operational. I had described the symptoms and he assured me it would be an easy fix to the plug coming out of the dryer itself. I followed his instructions and sure enough, not only does the dryer turn on and stay on, it works as it should've from the beginning. I have Todd to thank at Hardt Electric for saving my wife and I from a mountain of laundry that was consuming our bedroom. I am very grateful for not only their expertise, but willingness to go above and beyond without having actual work being contracted. Thank you!

Todd showed up on time and performed all services in a timely manner. Two outlets in three hours. Price was about $140.00 an hour.

Hardt electric was very responsive from the get-go. I had contacted a few electrical contractors and was turned down because my job was small. Todd from Hardt replied right away and gave me some great recommendations for local vendors where I could view and purchase my fixtures. Once I purchased my fixtures, my job was quickly scheduled. Peter the electrician doing my work came right on time and went to work. He was able to install the new electrical line and switch and 2 of my lights are operational. Unfortunately the light vendor didn't tell me I might need connectors for the other under cabinet lights (and I didn't ask) so those had to be ordered. But I will be able to complete that minor work on my own.

Jumper was removed and everything went as planned.

I contacted Todd who responded promptly. We set up an appointment for 8 am. He sent Pete who arrived literally on the dot at 8 am. He got everything done in 3.5 hours and was extremely nice. He also explained what he was doing and was very helpful. I would highly recommend Hardt.

Excellent. Todd arrived on time, he poked around to determine whether the floor outlet was wired from the wall or if the conduit was run through the floor. Upon finding that the conduit ran through the floor, he explained that the job could be done, but would require several hours of work chipping out concrete s even permitted by the condo association. He replaced the malfunctioning outlet and switch with no problem.

After viewing photos, Todd thought he could do the repair, but when he arrived he realized he'd need more equipment. He figured out a way to do0 it when no one else could. He also surveyed the rest of the apartment and suggested some modest fixes. Great guy, great and timely service.

Everything went well. Todd was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and thorough. He also spoke to the electrical supply house where we purchased the under-cabinet lights to work out what we actually needed since the supply house had sold us something we couldn't use, then came back the following day to install the lights once we had exchanged them.
