Very Professional and cleaned thoroughly

We need a help with moving into a new apartment . Clearing and house cleaning with frequent weekend cleaning. We are relocating to your city for 2 yrs of my research. I may not have time to respond to your message

It was scheduled 10 days earlier for Jan. 2 at 10:30am. My tenant got a message on Jan. 1 saying the pro wouldn't be available till Jan. 3 at 6pm which means the pro would be in the house working till 10pm! We HAD to login into their app to reschedule. We were about to cancel it because we were told no one was available for our scheduled time frame, and we didn't feel comfortable with how it went by then when they told us the same pro would come at the original time. She came around 11am, did an "ok" job, and asked for "gas money". It's "strange" as my tenant put it. And the only to reschedule or check their schedule is using their app, which I found it very inconvenient.

A pro was to have reported to me at 1:00 on December 21. At 1:13 p.m. the pro had not arrived. Therefore I called the pro and inquired whether or not I could expect service. The pro told me that the delay was due to waiting for a ride. I inquired that since you are waiting for a ride, what time can I expect you. The pro hesitated in responding. So I instantly told the pro that I should have been notified about the delay. The pro informed me that it had taken place and asked if I still wanted the service. I told the pro to allow me to check my messages and I would call back. I checked my message and it indicated that the pro was going to be 30 late due to the traveling distance from another job. I called the pro back to ask again an expected time and the call went to voicemail. Within seconds, I got a message from Handy that the job had been cancelled. My dissatisfaction is that Handy did not reach out to me in order to reschedule. Instead, I received a $17.00 discount on my next appointment. I had a dire need for cleaning service in order to have my place ready for Christmas Eve dinner. So I went back online and rescheduled an appointment for December 22. On December 22, the pro arrived on time and the job was completed a little short of 2 1/2 hours. During the job, I pointed out to the pro that the lamp on the nightstand needed dusting. I allowed the pro to use the products accustomed with, this left my espresso stained furniture with a cloudy look. I explained to the pro when wiping wooden floor, they should be mopped in the direction of the grain. I didn't monitor work performed in every room and I allowed the pro to leave without checking the job before departure. I discovered refrigerator door was not wiped and handprints were all over. T-shaped hallway did not appeared to be mopped. Air duct was dusted by request, but the pro failed to clean the dirt off of the tub that had fallen from the air duct. Top of toilet seat appeared to be cleaned, but the bottom of the seat had urine stains. Lastly, when I moved the wastebasket and toiletry stand in the bathroom, dirt was in the corner which suggests the pro mopped around them and did not move them.

Never finished. Woman did not return. Ruined my Christmas

Michael was professional and timely, His cleaning was limited to 3 hours for 89.00, and I really needed help with my floors. Everything was done. I did want him to use my floor product but he had his own. I was satisfied with the job and would use Handy again if I needed them.

This is a mixed review. THE COMPANY IS TERRIBLE and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone, I went with it because Angie's List is supposed to be good and credible but after this I will NEVER be using Handy or Angie's List again. The cleaning itself was great. The pro arrived on time and did a great job. The sales representative and customer service was HORRIBLE. When I booked the cleaning I told the representative that I was moving out and needed to have my place professionally cleaned and would need a receipt to avoid a fee from the management company. I was told that would be fine and could download an app to see my appointment, "Pro" and payment. Three days before my scheduled service I logged into the app and noticed there wasn't any "Pro" listed on my appointment so I emailed customer support to make sure someone was going to be coming out. I got TWO different responses from customer service, One response said "We're currently working to match your booking with an available professional. Pros generally match well in advance but sometimes will claim a job just a few hours before the scheduled booking. In the rare instance where a Pro has not matched with your booking within two hours of the start time, we'll reach out to you with next steps." WHAT!!!!!! The second said, a professional had claimed by booking and wanted to remind me that the service I booked was for a REGULAR cleaning service. WHAT!!!!! I emailed asking what the difference was since I had told the representative I needed a move out cleaning....did not get a reply. On the day of my cleaning the Pro that arrived was not the same person I was told would be providing the service. She did a great job though and is the only reason why I did not give them all "F's". After she was done I logged into the app to get me receipt but could not find anything, I checked my email and nothing. I emailed customer support the following day because I still had not received a receipt and asked them to email it to me ASAP (the management company said I needed to turn it in by the end of that day). When I did not get a response I called them and asked them to email me a receipt, that was when I was told that Handy DOES NOT PROVIDE RECEIPTS, WHAT!!!!!!! I requested a refund since Handy did not provide me with the receipt I needed to give the management company but was told that they cannot give me a refund because the "Pro" did a good job WHAT!!!!!!!!!!

The professional stole our gun from a desk drawer. We found out before she left the house. Police were called. The gun located were she ditched it. She was arrested. Court date in September Handy refunded cost and added a credit for another cleaning.

Not great, after the women left I noticed things that were not done. It was not cleaned to my liking.

Handy did not show up to either my residence or my father-in-laws residence. I booked them one day apart and they didn't show up for either. Horrible waste of my time. I am not impressed, in fact, I am disgusted with their lack of ....everything.

She showed up and got right to work. The house was a disaster from all the renovations going on but that didnt phase her. She was very professional but open to talking the entire time so she made things feel like she was an old friend who came over just to help me get the house back in order. I cant say enough good things about her. She was early to the appointment time by about 15 minutes which I loved, had all the cleaning supplies needed, worked hard and went above and beyond for me.

It will go better next time. Miscomunication.

Absolutelly Phenomenal! You sent me your Top of the line Employee!! So now I have been spoiled!! Monica W. Helped me sooo much that I just don’t think that I could ever use another Service!! I became Handicapped then I had a last minute Surgery, so Monica was seriously my lifesaver!!! I am requesting her again to help me Organize as I cannot lift. However, we do not Need to start at late as you scheduled my last appointment for. Thanking you in advance.

Horrible experience. Appointment was scheduled for 9:30 and would last 5.5 hours. At 10 AM, I received an email cancelling the appointment and stating I would get a refund in 3 to 5 days. I responded that cancelling 30 minutes after the scheduled time and offering nothing beyond was a joke. They should have contacted me to reschedule at my convenience but that did not happen. I have told them I will never attempt to use them again.

Less than an hour left for appointment and i receive sms that pro is having emergency and appointment is cancelled. Cannot connect them over phone. Very frustrated. No one even have courtesy to give a call and provide some alternative.

The first appointment I made the cleaner never showed up. I only made a second appointment because I had paid for pictures to be taken for rental property to be listed, and I had a day to do it... they showed up for that one but the response I received on my first listing review was “needed to be cleaned “. Unreal! I will not be using them again

No one showed up, my appointment is 7 am, I gave them until 7:30 am. I called them but no one is picking up, until someone picked up at 9 am and said that someone cancelled the service and they couldn't sent someone out. I informed them that I have a gas and airbnb all around, they just apologize and said that they cannot sent someone out within 24 hours. I asked them for a refund but they said that it's not refundable.

I booked to have a cleaner come to my house on a Friday at 1:30 in the afternoon for 5.5 for a deep clean. Well, you have to download an app to see what “pro” picks your job. At no time did handy inform me that a person may not book the job and I wouldn’t have my house cleaned. You can’t look at your “pro’s” schedule to see when they are available. Maybe if you live inside a big city then this would work out, but I live in the suburbs and apparently there are only 3 “pro’s” to do this service and who knows when they will show up. I expect a guarantee when someone is supposed to show up and do a job. This is a crap service offered through angie’s list.

Renae is the best housecleaner I have ever used. I grew up w//house cleaners, and have used different house cleaners over the last 3 decades, I have never seen a house cleaner work so hard. Renae did a deep cleaning on our house. It is a large house which has not been professionally cleaned in several years. In other words, a challenging house to clean. Renae far exceeded what I expected from a deep cleaning. She went beyond above and beyond. Renae is also a consummate professional. I was nervous about the cleaning, because of the condition of the house. Her friendly manner put me at ease. My house is the cleanest its ever been in the 6 years we have lived here. In fact, I don’t recognize it. I highly recommend Renae for any kind of house cleaning services. Thank you for sending her to us!

It's been great, my wife and I have used Handy for over two years now. They company arrived on time. If they are ever late, they send a text.

I ordered a desk then paid for handy to coordinate handyman. I had an issue with the desk and then they couldn't come out and finish the job without paying the full fee again. 95% of the job had already been completed.
