Great price, great service! I did my research and requested quotes from a number of movers for a local move for a single person in a high-rise, and, between price and reputation, H2H was the clear choice. With the quality of service I got on top of the quote, I do think that they are easily the best value as well. I was really impressed by the moving crew as well as the office for quality of service. There were pre-emptive preparation calls the week and a few days before to make sure I had all of the information needed and made sure I didn't have any questions. On the day of the office followed up twice to make sure things ran smoothly from start to finish. It turned out to be very helpful! The movers were quick, efficient, and kind; they made the move easy! There was a slight language barrier but this caused no issues or slow downs. These guys were fantastic! I will definitely use this moving company for my next move and would genuinely recommend them to others as well.

I could not have enjoyed my experience with H2H Movers any more! The movers arrived right on time, and handled all of my items with great care! They took just enough time to wrap the furniture that needed it and carried all of my boxes and nicer items very carefully. We had terrible weather, and the movers had to carry one box at a time in the rain, and still finished within the quoted time frame. It was by far the easiest and quickest move I have ever had in Chicago, and I didn't even have to lift a finger! Also - the front office/customer service team was great. They followed up with me a week in advance of the move to confirm details, eliminating any worry that the movers would not be on time on the scheduled day, and answered all questions I had leading up to the move. They followed up during the move to make sure there were no issues and also right afterwards to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. Could not recommend this company any more. Everything about their service is top notch!

I cannot say enough good about H2H movers. Prior to the move they were communicative and provided good directions. On the day of the move they were prompt, polite, conscientious of my materials, got right down to business, and were very careful with my materials. They moved my entire apartment to another close-by in about two hours. I would absolutely refer them to anyone I know, and actually used them as a referral myself! I will be using them again in the future.

My experience with H2H Movers was fantastic. First, they were able to accommodate my first choice of times even on a very busy Monday. My team of three movers was scheduled to start at 8am and I received a phone call at 8:01am that they were pulling in. The team lead gave me an 8 out of 10 for my packing, which I deserved because I didn't empty ALL my drawers. Despite my failings as a packer, they were efficient and professional and had me completely out of my studio in about an hour. As with any move, there's always a hiccup and for mine, it was another tenant at my destination building finishing a move during my elevator reservation. Despite the minor delay in getting started, the team rallied and got all of my things unloaded and safely into my new place. The day of estimate was 3.5 hours and the actual move time ended up being 2.5 hours, even with the delay. Everything arrived in the same condition it left. Not even a glass or dish damaged. My experience with H2H Movers was fantastic. Prices were reasonable and communication was top of the line.

I ended up booking a last minute move from the suburbs to downtown Chicago. They were pleasant to work with and the movers were highly efficient and courteous during the move. Only negative would be that it was extremely pricey for a 3 hour move. Kudos to them because they initially had my move date a day prior to when I was actually moving and ended up correcting it.

The employees of H2H were all as professional as could be! They addressed all my concerns when I called their customer service line every time I had a question and moved my appointment a couple of times to work better with my building's elevator appt schedule and other things coming up. During the actual move, we had a 2-hour window for the elevator and had everything out of the apartment within an hour, out of the building within another 15 minutes, and off to the new house. They even made it easy for a small fee (really, it was small) to add an extra step to grab a friend's couch they were giving us and they only spent about 10 minutes there to get the couch safely and swiftly into the truck from their 3rd floor walk-up apt. Finally, at the house, we had 3 floors and tight spaces to negotiate. There was NO WAY my husband and I would EVER have gotten the couch from the back door into the living room without damaging lights or walls, but they did it quickly. Unloading everything from the truck only took about an hour, and they reassembled bedframes for all 3 beds we moved in and helped arrange things in every room. We even flipped the configuration in the living room, realizing it was not optimal, before they left. They were happy to do all of this and we were very comfortable right after they left. Also, they did have masks on the entire time and were respectful of our COVID-19 concerns as well as those of our friends and the policies of our old apartment building. Use H2H next time you move!

I was so nervous for my move because I was moving from an elevator building that had a lot of tricky hallways to a 3rd floor walkup. These movers are NO JOKE. They are quick, efficient, and NOTHING was broken. I could not believe how strong they were and how efficiently everything was completed. Worth every penny.

I used H2H via Move Matcher and was very satisfied with the whole experience. The quote was accurate which is probably the most important. The crew was careful but quick, and they were able to efficiently move me out of my old apartment and into my new in two hours. They also provided the wardrobe boxes which was nice, and put the boxes in the marked rooms in the new place. I think this was probably my easiest move to date. Thank you!

H2H movers arrived at promised time, surveyed all items/boxes to be moved, explained the moving process and time needed and provided an approximate price. They were thorough, fast and professional. H2H was awesome! They were very responsive on the front end and sent reminder emails with everything laid out of how it would go. The movers arrived on time. And they were so friendly! The three guys who moved us were courteous, they made sure their masks were up (especially since I'm immunocompromised). They were extremely fast. They didn't break anything. And they moved couches for us from a Uhaul they didn't load. It ended up being less than their estimate, the were extremely efficient, respectful, and FUNNY!

After sending a detailed inventory over, I had a quote the next morning and was able to book the move only two days later! They were very thorough in going over their policies, quote details, and any information we needed day-of. I greatly appreciate the last minute accommodations and our two movers worked quick and professionally. I'd definitely recommend H2H for local moves!

I got my Move scheduled on a Monday morning. The movers came right on time! They were professional and very helpful. The plan was discussed and I had an emergency to be at another place so walked them what all needs to be shifted. By the time I came back everything was neatly packed and ready to be moved. At my new home everything was arranged properly as requested. All this despite a snow storm. The movers were trustworthy and very professional. They estimate matched and made my move hassle free. 5 Star service and I'd recommend them

When looking for movers, responsiveness, cost, and service all matter. Moving is stressful (I hadn't done it in 10 yrs) and H2H delivered on all of the above. A friend recommended them having used H2H THREE times and I couldn't be more satisfied with how our move (staying within Chicago) went. The quote and confirmation process was seamless--prompt and courteous communication the entire time and they did a great job setting expectations of what I needed to do to be prepared and set the move team up for success. On moving day our crew of 4 was there exactly on time, and our leader did a great job overseeing the disassembly and wrapping of our furniture and more fragile items. The entire time the crew was very courteous (always asking if it was ok to use the restroom) and were troopers in conducting a move in less-than-ideal winter conditions. My only critique or complaint was that they didn't proactively lay out mats to lessen some of the snow and ice being tracked inside but were very responsive to our requests where we wanted them to be careful once coming indoors. Nothing was damaged, their rates are competitive, and using H2H made the experience much less stressful than it could be!

From start to finish, H2H movers was a pleasure to work with. I've had a bit of experience with movers having moved across the country 3 times in the last 3 years. This move, however, was a local move from the South Loop of Chicago to the West Loop of Chicago, and was by far the best experience I've ever had with a moving company. The movers actually got done early, which saved me some cash. Also, my representative followed up to see how the move was going on moving day and days after the move. I'd give 6 stars if I could!

I was a little cautious as this was the more affordable option of the variety of choices we looked at, but the team was amazing. They communicated plenty ahead of time, arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and managed to move all the items between our locations without a single scratch and an hour under the quoted timeframe. Great, friendly staff that were eager to continue to help beyond what was asked of them. I'd highly recommend H2H to anyone moving in the Chicagoland area.

I had 4 movers from H2H for my local move. The movers were professional and took good care of my items. My new place has a narrow staircase, which made moving some of the larger items very tricky! But they cleverly figured out a way to get the items up there-- without damaging my walls! The team also communicated with me a number of times before my move to ensure everything was all set, and I also appreciated the follow-up post-move!
