Guaranteed Gutters - Gutter Cleaning

Well done. May take a few days to obtain service, since involved in multiple projects. The fact that they check other items that may need attention is appreciated, before there is greater impact. They contact by email and phone. Courteous. Professional.

This to say the least was a big disappointment. They have horrible customer service least they could of done was call.

The work was done well and pricing was very fair, but it took a long time to get the job scheduled and responsiveness to messages was slow.

When I called they asked where were the pictures. What pictures I asked. I was told I was supposed to take pictures and send them in in order to get an estimate. I explained that no where on Angies list or their own webpage does it say I should take pictures and send them in. Samantha sounded un-sure about how to proceed and said she'd pass it on to the estimator and maybe he could try to give me an estimate with out pictures. My assumption was that they come out and look at the job, take their own pictures if needed and then give me an estimate. I've never heard from anyone ever again from Guaranteed Gutters. I would say don't waste your time - seems like they don't need or want the business or that Samantha just doesn't care and was blowing me off.

In both cases, they showed up promptly and completed the work quickly and professionally. They're easier to deal with, and more responsive, than other gutter companies I've contacted.

Tim did a great job not only with the cleaning (which was scheduled very quickly), but also addressing additional issues with my rather old gutters and a problematic spot in my roof. He gave me a great discount and everything was done well and on time. A great job.

Tim and his crew arrived by 9AM, were done with all work including a fine clean up job by 2:30 PM. Removed over 25 55-gallon size bags of vines, repaired the damage the vines had caused to downspout seams, and resealed some separations they noted in the downspouts caused by 21 years of uninterrupted vine growth on the house. Crew worked h****** a hot day can did a great job. Tim had given me an initial estimate of the job cost, which we amended to include the additional work on the downspouts and flashing. I was very satisfied with the job they did and the cost was well within my budget for the job. Guarantee also does my annual gutter cleaning and I have been very happy with they job they do.

They provided a written estimate that was well below others we had received. A few days after I paid the deposit they came out on the day we had scheduled and did the work. It looks fine. Later that day, the boss called to make sure everything was to my liking. Everything was very professional. My only complaint was that it took them a few days to respond to my initial request for an estimate, but it was worth waiting for.

We previously used Guaranteed Gutters for spring and fall cleanings and they showed up and performed the work well. Last summer we consulted Tim on some water drainage issues and found him to be knowledgable and responsive. We ultimately selected Tim to install leaf guards and to re-route a gutter to the yard. When spring arrived, we wanted to have Tim come back and perform a "spring check-up" on the new leaf guards and cleaning of our garage gutters. We also wanted to discuss potential changes to the re-routed gutter as it was not functioning as expected (perhaps due to changes over the winter and additional waterproofing performed by another contractor). We have made repeated attempts over the past two months to get Tim to discuss and schedule the work. It takes Tim a very long time to return calls and when he does it is just to say he'll get back to us. He doesn't return some calls. I complained to the office staff and have no idea what happened to my message because the call was not returned as requested. It's hard to do business with someone who doesn't talk to you.

The whole process was very smooth, and I would definitely recommend and use Guaranteed Gutters again. The crew showed up on time, and left the working area clean (they even swept up the mess made by my son). Tim was great to work with via email, and the ability to pay invoices online via credit card is always a plus. The final bill matched the estimate, and they worked with me to give me a few options to choose from.

We wanted our gutters cleaned and gutter guards installed on our 3-story home and that's exactly what Guaranteed Gutters did for us. During the estimate, Tim and his team also identified a few areas of the gutters and downspouts needing repair, and also an area where a downspout needed to be re-routed to avoid damage to the concrete walk underneath. We appreciated his attention to detail and the speed and quality of the work done. During a heavy rain a few weeks later I noticed one of our downspouts was not draining properly. I called Tim to let him know and his team was back out within days to take care of the issue. I would highly recommend Guaranteed Gutters to anyone looking for this type of service provider.

We have original gutters on our 20 yr old two-story house. Last winter, we had an ice block in the front facing gutter which caused a slight dent. I wanted the gutters checked for other damage and to get an assessment of the dented portion. We also badly needed the corners of our gutters caulked. We had huge thick icicles hanging from the corners down the side of the building. I made an appt. to have Andy's Custom Gutters, Inc come out on Wednesday 10.1.14. The appt. was for 8:30am and Ken (Andy's son) and his crew of 2 came about 8:35am. Ken was very professional and, as a woman, I was very comfortable talking to him. He was knowledgeable and, it was plain that he enjoyed and was proud of what he was doing. He didn't mind answering questions and explained his answers thoroughly. While we were talking, his crew immediately got out latters and climbed up to the roof; looked over the gutters, pronounced them in good shape (even with the slight dent) and proceeded to have the 6 corners caulked. The cost was $50 per corner. Andy's Custom Gutters, Inc was efficient and got the job done in about 20 minutes. I will be having him over to clean gutters next year. And I highly recommend him.

Not really satisfied with the work. The gutters were loose within 6 months.

They were great! There were no additional fees associated with the Big Deal.

They were fine. They were good. They showed up when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves.

Tim came out to fix my gutters and he was confident that he could repair them. I wanted to have this taken care of before the snow hit. After the first snow, it was like the gutters weren't even there. Everything was leaking like a faucet. I tried for quite some time to get Tim back out to fix this, and he was unavailable. By the time I finally got a returned call, they told me they couldn't come out to fix anything at that point because they also do snow removal, and that it would need to wait until we had several days of nice weather. This was all before Christmas. Since then, the weather has been warm enough and sunny enough that they could have come out to fix this, and I even tried to contact them this morning, with no response. I am not happy with this company and would not recommend them. They have been unresponsive through most of this process.

They are so polite and nice. Always call us back promptly. Some years they have not charged for the cleaning because the gutters did not need it. I like that they trim the trees back for us also.

I live in Oak Park and was told that because I live south of 290 (1 block south) that i was outside their coverage area. I find that odd as travel times to my house are identical to those of houses that are a block north of 290.

I was having some water issues coming over a window. In trying to track down the source of the water, I called Guaranteed Gutters to ask about their work. They came out the same day to inspect water flow and drainage. They were fantastic. Tim the owner called and left his cell number if I had any issue. Thanks Guaranteed Gutters you are awesome.

Never showed up for an estimate.......

They were extremely friendly and helpful. They also offered the absolutely best price. We called three other places but they all wanted to charge hundreds of dollars more than this company. And the job they did looks great!
