GROOVE + NOTCH

We contacted Ted and told him what we were looking for. He was very responsive and we heard back from him within a day or two. We explained the style we were looking for and he, along with his wife and father in law, drew up a design within the week. It wasn't exactly what we wanted(it was beautiful, but a little too intricate for our place)so he and his wife came out to our place after work to make adjustments and get a feel for exactly what we were looking for. He took measurements as well. Once we signed off on the final design, the fireplace was completed in about 10 days. All the woodwork and painting. Ted and his father in law came out on the weekend and installed the fireplace. Because our walls are standard Chicago issue, and therefore weren't 90 degrees, there was a small gap around the top edge of the fireplace. Ted offered up several solutions, and we decided to add some trim to cover the gap. Ted offered to do this free of charge and with no delay. He came out the next week to complete. The fireplace is beautiful and it was refreshing working with such a responsive and skilled company. I would highly recommend this company to others.
