GreenSweep

After leaving a couple of phone messages, I got a call back from the person whose phone it was....the phone number on their website was wrong!...Found the right phone number, left a message and never heard back. Left a web message through their website, and never got a response. Perhaps they do great work...I wouldn't know.

The idea behind this company is great. The green products seem quite good and the price is very reasonable. The actual experience with GreenSweep, however, was terrible. They were slow to respond to emails to set up an initial appointment, double booked the first appointment and had to reschedule before their cleaning. They called when they were scheduled to arrive to say they would be fifteen minutes late yet they arrived nearly 40 minutes late with no explanation or apology. Half way through the cleaning, I showed them the rest of the unit (which had been cleaned bi-weekly for a year) and asked for their time estimate; they said another 1/2 hour. They were pleasant at this point. After a 1/2 hour, however, GreenSweep owner abruptly appeared annoyed and stated that the house was 'so dirty' and they wouldn't be able to finish before their next client and they didn't have a way to reach the next client so the owner would have to leave to call that client. The abrupt change in tone, information, and behavior made me question their integrity - did they misplace, break, or look at personal property while I thought they were cleaning? I emailed twice after the cleaning to figure out what happened, but I got no response. Finally, on the third email when I indicated my deep concerns and the possibility of reporting the company to the better business bureau, I got an email response saying they did not want to pursue my business. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone and I am concerned that it is engaged in inappropriate activity.
