Description of Work: They mowed and edged our yard, and they would take away the cut up grass. They put in bushes and fertilized.

+ 0 moreI think Mr. Dixon means well, but he simply doesn't seem to have the organizational skills to handle many clients at one time. He came across very well during his initial visit, and had good suggestions. Delivering on expectations was another story altogether. He repeatedly failed to send crews to do the expected work, and did not respond to repeated emails and voice-mail messages. We were kept waiting for over 8 weeks for the topsoil delivery that was supposed to smooth over our sidewalk lawns and give them a fresh start in life - the topsoil never showed. We terminated Green Acres Landscaping's contract with our housing complex after two months.
Description of Work: George Dixon from Green Acres Landscaping submitted a bid for lawn & yard work at our 14-unit townhouse complex in Hyde Park, and it was accepted. Work involved included twice-monthly mowing of sidewalk lawns, leaf-blowing (in fall), bush trimming and periodic cleaning of troughs before garage doors. It was also supposed to include a one-time delivery of topsoil to be spread over the grass, along with fertilizer & grass seeds.

+ -1 moreThis is a good service. They are always on time and very easy to work with. They answer questions and are very reliable. They are hard working and they always do an excellent job on my lawn.
Description of Work: Green Acres comes out once every two weeks to do my lawn care. They cut, trim, edge and remove any debris in the front yard.

+ -1 moreGeorge was very responsive. My schedule is very hectic. He came out on a Sunday morning to give me a price quote and starting cutting the lawn the same week. I have been using the service for 3 weeks now. They are always there when they say they will be there, they are polite, and they do a good job. My lawn has the best edge on the block, and they do not leave lawn debris behind or in my neighbors yard. Give them a try, I think you will be pleased.
Description of Work: They do weekly mowing of my lawn. My lot size is 75x150. I do have a large house, so I am not sure of the actual lawn square footage. Mowing includes the front, back, and side yards.
