Great Junk Removal

Eric is the best. I spoke with him earlier in the week and explained that I was having my garage floor redone and needed to clear out some furniture that was being stored in there. He showed up on Thursday with a truck and another set of hands and removed two large entertainment centers. He was polite, professional and showed up exactly when he said he would. It was truly a pleasure to work with him and I would definitely call him again.

We had a death in the family and went to look over the house. We found out that our uncle had been hoarding newspspers, clothes, furniture and refuse. This was an embarrassing situation and we were unsure how to handle it. we called a couple of larger companies and felt that they were unsympathetic and looking to take advantage of our situation. We called Great Junk Removal and they were so understanding. They had handled other jobs like ours and when Eric came out to look everything over he was so kind. The job was done in just a couple of days and we ended up spending a few hundred dollars less than his quote we which was already 400 less than one and 300 less than the other two we called. Eric and his crew took care of all the details and were so compassionate and respectful. They even cleaned the whole house when they were through removing everything. Goodwill received the items we wanted to donate and the rest w as removed by Great Junk. It's a good feeling that now we have some closure. Thank you Eric for your help.

Eric was very responsive and professional. I called on a Saturday morning hoping to get debris hauled away that day, but they were very busy due to it being the end of the month, which he said is typical for their business. His still managed to come out that afternoon after doing a job to see the stuff being taken and provide an exact quote. He was able to fit us in sooner than expected and that Monday morning had a crew haul it away. Good company and would use them again.

They take literally EVERYTHING! I like that they recycled and donated items rather than just taking it to a junk yard. We even are expecting to get a tax write off from the Goodwill. The workers were hardworking and congenial, and the owner even worked with them on the job.

They were quick, efficient and professional!

Eric and Jim were very careful not to damage the walls or anything upon the removal. All items were donated or recycled when possible. All chemical items and other things that could not go into the regular garbage were also disposed of properly. They were here every morning on time for the 3 day project and they really never stopped working, not even for lunch or anything. Every time I called in getting things set up, I reach Eric directly; never voicemail. He even offered to come out that day and start! This is what Angie's List is all about: finding honest, competent businesses like this one. Trust this company. They made the disposal of my mother's home much less stressful and much easier on me.

I called in the morning and spoke with Eric. He said he can come out next week. I needed someone sooner so he said he'll see what he can do. He called back shortly saying he moved his schedule around to accomodate. He did it the same day! He asked that I text him a picture of the pile of debris I needed removed so he can give me an approximate estimate. This worked out great. The estimate was a little more than I ended up paying. When he and his helper arrived they cleaned the debris and a little more.When he was done he accepted credit cards and I paid on the spot using a device attached to his phone. A receipt immediately went to my email and a text. Pretty high tech! I would definitely recommend using Eric.

I called Great Junk Removal about 3pm on Sept 26th. I spoke to Eric and told him I had a large window air conditioner unit in my window that I needed to dispose of and it was too heavy for me to remove. He was at a job site and asked if I could hold for a minute while he ran out and checked his schedule. He told me he could remove the unit later in the evening and asked me what time was too late. He explained he was at a job site and he needed to finish that job that night, so it may be late. I told him no later than 11pm. He said he could do it that night and would call me when he was on his way. He called to let me know his current job was taking longer than anticipated but he was confident he could get to my home by 10pm. I said that's fine, and he informed me he will call when he is on his way. Exactly as he stated around 10pm he caled and said he was on his way. He arrived within 15 minutes and removed the air conditioner in about10 minutes. He was also kind enough to look at a refrigerator in my basement that another company claims will not fit up the staircase. Eric was very professional, called me when he realized it would be later than orignall anticipated to make sure I was still interested and he called me when he was on his way. I will definitely use his service again when the need arises!

For the home cleanout they did it took approximately 4 days and the house was ready to go to be shown and rented again. I must say the house was in terrible condition, but with Eric and his team's hardwork they were able to get it up and ready to go in a timely fashion.

Eric came to my basement, gave me an estimate, and my junk was removed the same day. Great Price and Great service! They went out of their way to even clean some junk in my backyard. When they were done hauling the junk they cleaned and swept my basement. My basement looks completely different! Eric was on time, professional, and friendly. Couldn't have been more pleased! I would definitely use them again and I would refer them to anyone!

I was there for the entire job, and it went very smoothly. Can't think of anything I would have them do differently.

Everything went off without a hitch.
