Description of Work: Great Expectations did a complete tear down and new roof for us in 2015. From the beginning we had trouble with one of the gutters which overflowed when it rained heavily but I didn't call until two months ago, so two years later. Dariusz and crew came, fixed the problem and although I said he could charge me, he did not. We have had hardly any rain till today, so I could not check the gutter before. No more problem so

Description of Work: They removed three layers of roofing and the original cedar shingle (1895) roof. They provided a new wood cover over the roof frame and put new asphalt tiles over that. It was a steep roof and they did it in two days (with about 8 people) They protected the bushes and plants in the yard and they cleaned up beautifully. When we had a problem with how they did the flashing of the porch roofs and the bay, they came back and redid the flashing. My only "problem" is that the tiles that ended up on the roof didn't look anything like the ones I had chosen. This may be because they were not represented correctly in the sample I was shown. I would suggest that before they start roofing, you should check the tiles to make sure it is what you have chosen.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. The work appears to be of high quality. The crew was pleasant, professional, and responsive. The price was reasonable. They cleaned up very well afterwards. They were willing do some extra work without additional charges, so we asked for bathroom vents. We decided not to have them, in the end, but use vents through the wall of the house. Obviously, we cannot compare this company to others, as this was the first roof we had done in 40 years. However, we were impressed and would highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: Put a roof, shingles, on our house and garage.

+ -1 moreThe contractor put in a regular roof without discussing it with us and trying to get an answer as to why was very difficult. The work was done well, but communication was lousy.
Description of Work: We discussed getting a new roof with the sales person who quoted for roof ridge venting, not the traditional type with multiple vents.

+ 1 moreJob went great. Used very high quality Da Vinci composite cedar shakes which is why the cost was so high. I have a very large very steep roof and they were able to install it in two or three days with no problems. The roof is 6 years old now and still looks new and has never leaked.
Description of Work: Installed new roof on house, boxed in 1 chimney with fiber cement board, and reshaped one of the peeks on the roof.

Fair price, knowledgeable and non-pressure sales representative, excellent quality, excellent workmanship on the install, good clean-up, polite, friendly and hardworking installer. Factory (Alside) took longer than expected, but the windows look great and definitely are doing better job keeping the cold out, and, in summer, heat out.
