Absolutely horrible. Don't buy from them. Just don't. We had our kitchen remodeled and ordered our appliances from Grand. They're unbelievably uncoordinated. They were supposed to deliver 2 weeks ago. The kitchen is done. But no appliances. They'd agreed to deliver Tuesday. Saturday at 5:40 they call to get the name of the contractor to set up delivery with him. And they don't give you any information to help you. So now we will have a finished kitchen (which took 6 months) but we can't move it because of the appliances. Don't use under any circumstances. They simply don't care about customers and don't deliver when they say they're going to.
Description of Work: HUGE problems. No delivery. No customer service. Use anybody else.

My husband and I bought our appliances for our new condo. Our dishwasher leaking the first time we used it. It had 5 major leaks. Frigidaire Gallery top of the line Stainless Steel. The company wanted the repairman to repair it. He fortunately refused and somehow we got a new one! This dishwasher 14 months later is no longer working! We unfortunately did not get a warranty and no one is standing behind it! We are 2 adults who travel 1/2 the time so the unit is used at most 4 times a month. We also have had to have our Electrolux Washing Machine replaced due to a faulty tub and rollers. Lucky we bought a warranty for this. We needed it 13 months after it was delivered! So if you buy at GranDs, Buy the Warranty! You will Need It!
Description of Work: Grand Appliances have problems! We bought 5 appliances and within 18 months had to replace 3. These appliances were mid range upper range in cost!

I bought a Fisher/Paykell washer and a gas dryer in late 2002. I was supposed to get a $100 rebate. I submitted all the paperwork (which was extensive), and followed up several times, usually put on terminal hold. I ultimately gave up. Delivery was on time but the crew was angry; they literally wrestled the appliances up my stairs, swearing the entire way, then tried to claim they were not responsible for hookup (which I had been promised). I got the business on the phone immediately and they made the crew perform the hookup.
Description of Work: Purchased washer/dryer, with delivery and installation.

We were promised 1 week delivery/install at time of sale (incl. manufacture of metalwork pieces). Appliances were delivered (del. charge: $45) and old oven removed. Installer not present. Time passed, phone calls and promises were made over days/weeks. 4 weeks later they came with metal work and 3 installers. Broke several drill bits trying to mount stainless header, could not use designed mounting plan for microwave backplate. Upper mounting positions for microwave were inaccessible due to header, drilled into side of microwave and metal cabinet work to secure. They used a flexible connection for attaching vent. They tried to attach a cable to oven wiring using electrical tape and plugged into outlet WITHOUT testing the connection or inspecting the panel. The oven malfunctioned. They disconnected, packed up, and left. The microwave stopped working 24 hours later. They suggested I contact an electrician and Dacor service. An electrician came and hardwired the oven great in 10min.
Description of Work: I purchased, and they installed a Dacor oven and overhead microwave. They removed the old oven. The installation required mounting metalwork (backsplash and overhead cabinet filler) to a brick wall with metal cabinets on either side. Gas and electrical connections existed and were operational.

In the process of installing the unit, they broke my oven. They had tried to move it to get to the gas line and took the whole top off of the unit. After a week with them not following through, I called and was told Mike was with a customer and would call me when he was finished. No call. I then went in to talk to him and he told me he would send someone right away. I'm still waiting. I expressed that all I wanted was an apology from anyone for what happened and for them to follow through. He seemed very sheepish and mumbled an apology and I'm still waiting for my oven to be fixed. Great appliances at great prices but if something goes wrong, you're on your own.
Description of Work: Installing a washer dryer stackable Maytag unit bought from their store.

I HAVE BEEN CALLING EACH WEEK FOR SIX MONTHS TRYING TO GET THE MISSING PIECES FOR MY MICROWAVE. I WAS TOLD THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEN. WELL, IT DID.
Description of Work: OVERALL, I HAD A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE WITH GRAND APPLIANCE. ANISH GAURI ASSISTED ME IN FINDING THE RIGHT APPLIANCES FOR THE RIGHT PRICES. HOWEVER, SIX MONTHS LATER I AM STILL LOOKING TO FIND THE MISSING PIECES FOR MY MICROWAVE.
