A lot of people who have not had to have a plumber-or electriican, or other skilled, licensed tradesperson, in their home, can be a bit surprised at the cost. And I have to say in all honesty, that having one of us-whether it is Goode Plumbing, or of the other skilled trades companies out there, IS expensive! But, to put it in perspective, in order to provide a customer with the service and protection they deserve, we have to have to put a lot of expense in to the business; We have to put a licensed plumber-who, in order to become licensed, has to have the same amount of time as a person seeking a bachelor's degree from college prior to taking the licensing exam. That licensed plumber has to be insured, as does our company separately. This is done to protect you, the homeowner. Then, we have to put that person in a well stocked, fully insured, professional van. The insurance costs alone are very high. Now we have a licensed, experienced, insured plumber in a licensed, insured, professional vehicle, wearing a professional uniform. He or she then brings these things, unlike your auto repair shop, to your home, which takes a fair amount of time. As you mentioned, we do get the job done right. We are not the cheapest company in town. Our level of quality, customer service and our unequalled warranty do not allow that. However, despite this fact, and those above, I sincerely think that if one were to shop around at other companies, they would find the value found at Goode Plumbing to be exceptional."

As stated, some of the drainage design was done in a way that is definitely less than ideal. The member plans to have us back to correct this next year. In the meantime, I installed some very heavy duty pumps (ejector and sump), back up pumps, and a battery back up system. All of this was completed using very high quality products. While the member appreciated my patience with his project, it must be said that I am very glad he was patient enough to want to learn about his home and the drain issues."

There are a variety of water heaters on the market now, and each one has its advantages in certain situations. These units need proper installation in order for them to work efficiently and reliably."
