I called Goode plumbing for the listed repairs. We made an appointment that fit my schedule and I waited for my service call. Devell from Goode plumbing was prompt, courteous and efficient! He called me prior to arrival to let me know he was in the neighborhood and to confirm I was still available for our scheduled appointment. Upon his arrival, Devell quickly assessed the problems and provided me with options for solutions. Once we agreed on a course of action, Devell acquired parts and fixed everything perfectly! I can't say enough good things about Devell's professionalism! (He left everything cleaner than when he arrived!) Overall I had an A+ experience and will definitely hire Goode Plumbing again!

Called the number before office hours and a very nice woman took my information (was emergent as toilet overflowed night before so had been unable to use). The owner contacted me just shortly after 8:00 am and asked me for the information and was very understanding of my immediate need. Although fairly booked, he was able to secure someone from his company to come and take care of the problem and called me back 20 minutes later with the individual's name and said he would arrive shortly. The plumber that came to do the work called before he came, confirmed the location and the need and promply came and fixed the problem. He was great - very nice, knowledgeable and courteous. Would definitely recommend and use them again. Accepted Angie's List coupon as well. Great responsiveness and customer service - very much appreciated!

This was the 3rd plumbing company we contacted (the 1st one didn't follow through after many phone calls) . The estimate was the highest, but the initial plumber providing the estimate was the most professional and explicit in describing the nature of the work and was very conscientious about minimal damage to our walls. The plumber who installed the sillcock was just as thorough, professional, pleasant and conscientious. Also, we really appreciated their quick responses to our call, for providing the estimate and doing the work. My only complaint is that the 10% Angie's List wasn't applied, because they said it was "already in the estimate," even though i hadn't mentioned the Angie's List reference AND the discount actually wasn't listed on the rather detailed paper estimate. We would use them again, but really question the validity of the Angie's List discount.

the owner took our call and scheduled our appointment. the Plumber came promptly and called before coming to let us know they were on their way. they gave a fair estimate and replaced the shut-off valve. the only minor negatives was that they didnt have the actual shut off valve in stock in the vehicle. they knew this was likely the problem from my initial call, but he had to go out to purchase the part after initially inspecting the job which added time to the total job. also there was poor water containment when he removed the old valve. and not so great cleanup after the job (the floorboard was left wet and i had to wipe up afterward). positives include the job was done quickly and seemingly properly, they were friendly and seemed fair in their pricing. i would recommend them and use them again if needed.

We had sewer backup in our newly purchased house. This was due to the sewer needing to rodding. The backup occurred at night, and we called Goode based on prior positive experiences. Although Michael didn't have emergency services, he met us at 5:30am the next morning and completed the rodding. We were very pleased with his work, professionalism, and willingness to come out so early to help us out. We will definitely use him in the future.

Mike arrived when he said he would, worked carefully and diligently. I cannot imagine a better experience--and I have been a homeowner for more than 30 years.

I called Mike on Thursday of the previous week, left a message. He called back later that afternoon, very pleasant. After discussing what I needed, he told me that he could have someone at my house the following Monday morning. Ernie came at 9:30 am. Very nice, very knowledgeable. He was extremely thorough and careful, and did excellent work. After assessing what needed to be done, and checking in with Mike, he told me what the cost would be. This wasn't by the hour, but for the whole project. So while it was more than I was expecting - although honestly I really didn't know what this would cost - I really appreciated that the price was for the entire project. Ernie was here for probably 4-5 hours. The work was done with great care and expertise. I would definitely call them again - thanks guys!

Mike assessed the problems. Started the work - made the replacements and cleaned out the drains.

We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom tub that was causing water damage in our ceiling below in the kitchen. We were very concerned it was going to cost us a fortune to fix but fortunately it did not. Bob came right on time, 8:30am to begin assessing the issue. He had to cut a hole in our drywall in the kitchen but then immediately diagnosed the problem. He bought the new part, and fixed our leak in a timely and professional manner. When I saw the bill was only $275.00 I was shocked. They are very honest and do not overcharge. I will definitely be using Goode Plumbing in the future.

On time, professional, appeared knowledgeable and quickly fixed the one issue that we had to have done right away. Walked through house with me taking pictures and notes on other items that we needed an estimate for. Unfortunately, a week later, we still don't have the estimate - hence the 'B' for responsiveness. I haven't called back to chase it down, in part because we've since gotten the house under contract for sale so we won't be doing that work. UPDATED: Immediately after filing this review, Mike called me to follow up. He said that he had sent over the estimates within a day and wanted to make sure that I received them. Email is funny sometimes, and I never know what Google will determine is junk mail. Mike resent the estimates right away, and they came through. I appreciate the fact that he's clearly paying attention to feedback and acting on it - thanks for the quick follow up! I updated the responsiveness rating to an 'A' grade.

On this past Good Friday, I had a home energy savings assessment performed at noon CST. The individual who performed it informed me that I had multiple gas leaks (could not be smelled, only detected with the equipment he was using). He informed that I would need our gas utility to come out to fix the leak he discovered on the gas meter itself. That individual came and fixed the meter leak and then informed me that due to my other leaks, he could not turn the gas back on until I had a plumber come out.I had already Mike out to the house about a week prior to quote me on some work, so I felt most comfortable call him in this emergency situation. Mike sent one of his technicians, Develle, out and he arrived within an hour. He was able to speak with the utility company then and there and knew exactly what needed to be done. He made a Home Depot run, brought back everything he needed and got right to work. Develle was incredibly professional and took the time to explain to me (the least handy guy I know) exactly what he was doing and how he would test the work after it was performed to ensure the issues were fixed.Develle was at our house until 10 pm on a Friday night! It indicated to me that Mike and his company will do whatever is necessary for his customers to make sure their issues are resolved in a high-quality fashion. I was expecting to spend at least $1,000 (obviously because I'm a novice in this area) and was pleasantly surprised when the price came in where it was at. At that point however, the price was the least of my concerns and Mike / Develle focused on the important issue of providing us with peace of mind that the work was done right.

The plumber we got was really good and helpful in figuring out what needed to be fixed without going totally crazy with the job.

Once we got done playing phone tag - which was my fault. Job was done quickly and Mike is friendly and professional. This is the 2nd time I have used him and will do so in the future.

They came the same day I called. Incredibly prompt and polite. Put in safeguards that weren't installed with my old water heater. Finished everything in one afternoon, walked me through the work, and provided a 6 year warranty on the tank and labor.

The price was pretty standard. Something inside had to be replaced so they came and did it. The shower head is the same but they just fixed the leak. Everything is just fine and it has been. They came when they were supposed to and they were just fine. They were professional and neat. They cleaned up and explained everything fine. I was satisfied with their price. The job has been done. They were very responsive.

Mike called me back almost immediately for a clogged toilet. He said he could be at our house at 7:30am and arrived earlier (great for a working mom). He found the problem and made every effort to keep the cost down. If the situation does get worse they guarantee their work and would apply the cost of this visit towards another. That's great customer service. I would use Goode Plumbing again.

I contacted Goode Plumbing due to the high rating on Angie's List and proximity to my condominium. Mike Goode, owner, was the person who made the service call. Mike was very professional. He was only a few minutes late for the appointment, but did notify me in advance that he may be late due to an extended stay at his current appointment. Everytime he walked into my condo, he put on shoe protectors so as to not dirty my floor. Also, he explained what he was going to do after I described the problem and very willingly answered my plumbing questions while he was working. In addition, he protected the floor by my sink with a carpet and wiped down the cabinet area under my kitchen sink when finished. I highly recommend this company if you need a plumber.

Bob the plumber showed up a bit early, after calling and double-checking that this was OK. I was happy I didn't have to wait as long! He was very pleasant and good with communicating to me what the issue was. Our shower knob had stopped working and so it was nearly impossible to turn the shower off. He quickly determined that a new cartridge and knob needed to be installed and while he didn't have the actual part on hand, he was able to obtain the part in less than an hour and had returned to install it. He had to saw off the old knob which took some time. Overall the visit took about 2.5 hours but he was helpful in advising me about the most cost-effective way of fixing our shower and was a very nice man.

The project took a little longer than expected but they stayed on the job until completion.

I had some troubles getting a quote by email, but once work began it went well. They replaced a section of cast iron sewer stack that was rotted out and leaking. They also re-routed some existing drains away from the catch basin and directly into the sewer line. This involved digging up the basement floor to get access to the line below the concrete. While the floor was broken open they added a floor drain with a p-trap and a threaded cap. They replaced the concrete and the room was left as clean as when they started. Jeff was very courteous and worked to minimize disruption to the household water usage.

He called before he arrived. He was punctual. He was professional. He introduced himself. He wore booties in the house. He finished the work in two hours.

During this time, I also had a serious gas connection to my dryer resulting in all the gas in my condo being cut off. Mike was there asap on the weekend to correct the problem, therefore, my gas was reconnected within an hour. This happened during a very cold spell.

Mike, owner, responded to my service inquiry within a 24 hr period. Honest, professional and friendly team at Goode Plumbing. Bob the plumber who repaired my leak was on time, informative and performed high quality work. Very satisfied with this company.

Goode Plumbing answered my emergency call and came to the property very quickly. A tenant, on move out day, broke the hot water shut off valve and water pipe in the bathroom and didn't inform me. That night water started pouring from the 2nd floor through the 1st floor ceiling. New piping and a shut off valve were installed and, in addition to addressing the emergency, the plumber reviewed my list of plumbing needs that were less urgent. He kindly said that he could take care of the whole list since he was already at the property. In that same rental apartment, he installed a new vanity with granite counter and vessel sink, changed all of the piping under the sink and behind the toilet to new hoses and piping so the bathroom looked brand new. He installed new shower heads and hand held sprayers on the 1st and 2nd floors. He repaired a leaking water spigot that was just installed the prior summer by a different plumbing company, and also checked the other external spigots to make certain that they weren't leaking. He took the time to double check the kitchen plumbing for any leaks because I told him that I was getting ready to rent out that apartment. He was the kindest person that I have ever met and a very confident plumber. He remembered that I mentioned that I had an Angie's List discount and applied that discount even before I asked about it. I did request Goode's assistance again this year to fix a leak under another kitchen sink and the results were the same as the first call - excellent. I will always call Goode Plumbing for all of our building's plumbing needs. They take pride in their work, provide excellent service, and are just honest hardworking people.
