John was professional, knowledgeable, personable and communicated well both in scheduling and trying to solve the problem. He graciously dealt with a lack of parking due to street cleaning. He tried multiple ways to solve the problem I was having with the sink but unfortunately the issue was with the main line in my building.

I had Goode come by to take a look at my water heater, and it turns out it had to be replaced. They did on the same day, and I had a new water heater within hours.

Ian and Matt were very helpful when they came to fix a broken pipe in my bathroom. They found the problem quickly and completed the job all in one day. They were prompt and came earlier than I expected. They made sure to clean up the bathroom spotlessly when they left. Thank you so much for your hard work!

Fine, Michael routed the pipe 3x to make sure it was clear and replaced the sink drain. He cleaned up the area well.

They have consistently delivered top-tier work, always show up on time and have in general been one of the best contractors I have ever worked with-- I don't write reviews but they asked me to (after promptly fixing a minor issue for me today) and it only makes sense to let people know the high quality and professionalism here.

I had a mess of water and mold. Called them on Sunday, they came out on Monday, no biggie, I didn’t want to pay for emergency services. The $60 fee to come out is irrelevant when you need something done. They stated they wanted to cut into the wall to make sure it was not a foundation issue, the price went up significantly. Ended up finding out it was my water spigot!!! Kind of upsetting that they had to cut into the wall beforehand. But, peace of mind comes at a cost. I was all in at this point and ended up paying quite a bit to repair the issue, Not sure what an average cost would have been. My point of writing all this is to mention that sometimes when you need something done right away, you have to pay for it. They came out, were very friendly and knowledgeable. I wasn’t available but my wife kept me in the loop and I was able to speak to the gentlemen that came out. By all accounts the job was completed in a very thorough manner. They even offered up a company that they work with for restoration. I think it’s a solid company and they are very flexible and seem to be readily available for $60. I would definitely use this company again. If I have a complaint it’s the sales of added services. I’m not sure how I feel about that. Fix the issue at hand then give me a pamphlet with what your company offers. The longer you talk, the more I feel like all you want to do is get more money. I get that it’s a business, but some situations are stressful, I know my wife was stressed out about it considering I was not there to help. Maybe take that Into consideration. To end my long review. If you want something done and you need it done right now, don’t complain about the cost. Thank you Goode for your prompt response and for always keeping me up to date with when you guys would be able to come out. Communication was great. Solid company.

They claim to work 7 days a week yet its been 4 days since I reached out to them and no one has contacted me.

Drew and Carlos at Goode both got here lickity split when we had an after-hours leakage problem. They routed out the drain tile piping and broke up some major clogs that were causing the backup. They were quick with the repair and friendly and easy to deal with. I was encouraged to keep in contact with them if further problems arose with the issue.

Update: Mike Goode followed up with me personally after seeing my review. He looked into the situation and gave me a call explaining the error and refunding the $60 fee. Although the initial pricing was unfortunate, he was very professional about the situation. Much appreciated.__ I called Goode plumbing to get an estimate for replacing my leaking bathtub spout. I knew that it was still a $60 charge if I didn't end up using their services pending the estimate, but the reviews are pretty good on here and I was out of town, so I went ahead with it. The two professionals proceeded to give me an estimate of $832 to replace the cartridge....That's $832 for a job that would be done in less than half an hour with the right tools. I wish I had just waited until I'd be back in town to do it myself because that was just $60 down the drain. I went and bought a Moen shower/tub spout for $170, watched a video and did it myself fairly easily. I felt like they were price gouging me for a job they didn't want to do knowing they would still get their $60 to be in and out.

On two prior occasions I had plumbers fix my leaky drain (about $300 each time), and both times the leak came back. I'd let it go for years because it was in a seldom used bathroom, and I'd call plumbers periodically and they wouldn't call me back or show up for appointments. I was disheartened. I recently decided to find a plumber on Angie's List and these guys were phenomenal. I was not home but my wife says he walked her through everything he was doing and when it came time to fix he gave us two options. One was a $300 option that he said he couldn't guarantee would permanently solve the problem, and the other was the $1,700 option where he replaced all the stuff that wasn't installed correctly. I'd never been told there was an option other than the cheap fix in the past. I appreciate he gave us both options and explained the work as he went along. It was clear that the workmanship that went into this bathroom wasn't the best, but he fixed the actual problem and not the symptom like the other guys did. I don't remember the plumber's name that came to our house, but my wife does and says she will never use another company, and she will always ask for him. Honestly, I don't know if this is a good price or not. I marked it as fair because I thought it was just that. It was more than I was expecting to pay that day, but it's possible I could have gotten it cheaper had I shopped around - but maybe not. The quality of work and professional experience was worth it the price paid.

JP was friendly, informative, and efficient, explaining what he had done in a clear and respectful way. I am very pleased and would call them again.

Leak was fixed fine. They didn't help me anticipate the need for a water shut off so I could communicate to residents, which would have been nice. I never got a receipt I asked for multiple times. They never followed through on an estimate they said they'd give me. Very poor follow ups and customer care. I would not use again.

During the extreme cold a couple weeks ago, we had a shut-off valve pull away from the pipe causing a water leak in our basement. Thankfully the damage was minimal and Goode Plumbing was able to come out that afternoon to fix the pipe. They were quick and professional, had all the supplies they needed with them, and cleaned up the work area. We were thankful to have found them.

Goode Plumbing is so fantastic I would give them an A++++++ if I could. We had a pipe freeze and then burst in the morning of the deep freeze, and a plumber was at our door in 30 minutes. Alex did a magnificent job and it was all completed in less than 2 hours. Customer service at intake was also super helpful and responsive. I will not call any other plumber ever again. Amazing!

Not very well at all/ Service person showed up to provide quote. He surveyed the needed items and prepared quotes. after preparing he showed them to me. He then, as agreed took a check for $60 for the service call to provide the bid. I was to get an email with bids so I could review as they seemed quite high. When after a day the buds did nit show up I called their office explained my disappointment that they took my $60 and did not provide service rendered. I got an email from the owner asking I call and he took pride in his customer service. I called a day or so later to his cell phone as requested however no return calland they proceeded to cash my check

Great. It took some calculations and measurements to figure out exactly where in the wall the pipe was leaking. He found it without cutting a ton of holes all over my walls and ceiling.

The agreement was I will pay $60.00 diagnostic fees and it will be applied toward the price (if anything wrong is found) and if I hire them it will apply toward the repair price. After the diagnosis was done and I made an appointment for them to come and fix on Friday December 7. I was ready to write him a check for the $60.00 at this point the gentleman (David) said my boss asked me to charge you $330.00 but I am going to charge you only $135.00. I asked him is this the price to fix the problem his answer was “No” this is for today’s visit

Very thorough and explained a lot of things

Have been having trouble with our tankless water heater recently. It would work fine some days, then it would have trouble staying hot. Called Goode and they were able to accommodate the same day. Jake came by around 1:30pm. Looked at the unit and wasn't quite familiar with it. To his credit, he was not to be denied. The guy researched online from the manufacturer, was sent maintenance docs from Rheem to help figure out the problem. He was here for about 4 hours going through a number of different things to figure it out. After going through all that, he was able to solve the problem. Seems the issue was with the wiring. This is the kind of service that needs to be found everywhere in every aspect of life. The guy wasn't going to quit until the issue was solved. I would call Goode (especially Jake) again in a heartbeat for any plumbing issues. Thanks!

the technician turned off some pipes without telling me and would not fix anything. i have had to hire someone else to do the work. The current guy thinks that they decided the job was big and they did not want to do it.

Called Goode plumbing at 6:30 pm on a Saturday night. I was told that there would be a $250 emergency fee. I went back and re-read the "we are proud to announce WEEKDAY EVENING and WEEKEND APPOINTMENTS WITH NO EMERGENCY FEE! Yes, that includes Sunday!" I read the above quote to the plumber on call and he politely told me that this did not apply to night calls and he asked me to call back in the morning. 6:30 pm, in my opinion, is the evening and this statement on Angie's list is very misleading. If the NO EMERGENCY FEE only applies during work day hours, it should say so.

Goode Plumbing did a fantastic job. A plumber arrived at my house about an hour and a half after I called. He was very knowledgeable, explained everything he was doing, advised on how to prevent future issues, and cleaned up everything. With respect to a clogged sink, he rodded the pipe ten times to make sure it was clear (as compared to a prior plumber from a different company who refused to rod the pipes even once, saying that he didn't want to risk breaking them). He was very professional and clearly takes pride in his work. I have an old home with old pipes and am very happy to have found a reliable and high quality plumber.

Very professional and reasonable with pricing. They quickly installed by new water heater and had it up and working with in 4hrs.
