Both the owner and his plumber showed up on time and ready to work. The plumber (Develle) was very professional and a very good plumber. All his work was first rate and done quickly. Using Angie's list and Goode Plumbing was a great experience. Highly recommend (and ask for Develle).

Devell did a very nice job. On time, quality work, great attitude, reasonable price. I will be calling Goode again in the future.

The work done by Goode Plumbing LLC did not turn out very well. The knowledge was good, but the level of professionalism wasn't. I wouldn't say he was unprofessional, but there's a grey area. I told him I would like to have a report, with photographs. He said he was doing it with his phone. But when he sent the report, it didn't have photographs in it. It was just little things like that. It just seems like he was not as prepared as, like, say, my home inspector was. The report was very vague. It was more or less just a quote and it didn't have descriptions and everything. Because of that, we said we weren't going to use him because he's not thorough enough. If I'm going to spend upwards of $10,000.00 on something, I want somebody who's there. He didn't do what I asked him to do.

Mike and crew are an astounding group to work with. We were shopping around for a plumber to install flood control after we experienced backup sewage in April's rainstorm. Overall the job was completed very professionally and Mike and the gang did a good job with communicating with us throughout the whole ordeal. We had a few hiccups with permits which were quickly resolved (not Goode's fault from what we were able to find out). Mike offered us some sod to fix the yard since the project took longer than expected (due to permits) since all of the grass died under the dirt pile. Nothing to worry about in comparison to the good work, constant communication, and care they went through to get the project completed. I look forward to Goode checking up on the system yearly (prior to the rainy days) and would use them for future service needs going forth as they are a crew that can be trusted!

I'm ashamed to admit that I don't want everyone to know how amazing Goode Plumbing is. I like getting in reasonably quickly. But not reporting on them would be wrong. I've now had experience with every single plumber there : Mike (the owner,), Jeff (who installed my Reverse Osmosis filter,as well as drilling the hole for the filtered water faucet in my stainless sink and granite counter,) Deville (who has fixed various drains and toilets,) Bob (who rodded a front outdoor drain and changed a cartridge in my kitchen faucet,) and Ed (who fixed a toilet handle and several leaking faucets, which needed new ceramic cartridges.) Here's why I LOVE this company. Everyone is nice and normal. They really really know plumbing. They wear shoes protectors when they come inside, and they wash their hands after working with dirty stuff, so they don't spread e. coli all over your house. After fixing everything beautifully, they clean up after themselves. They are, in short, everything I want in a plumbing company or plumber. Do they cost more than hiring an off-duty plumber, who arrives on Saturday, with her kids, because she has no childcare and stays all day, because she's not exactly sure what's going on? Yes (And yes, I've done that to save money.) However, it's now worth it to me, to have my plumber know their stuff, be timely and respectful of my time, and use the highest quality components. And they have a lifetime warrantee on their work. I've used them a lot recently because our house appears to be wearing out, but they're helping me fix everything. I think I found them initially on Angie's List. And, they have an Angie's List coupon that they honor (of course.) I love them. I know nothing about plumbing, but I feel happy that they're in business, so they can take care of me.

They are very good and personable. They come quickly. If you have old pipes, they are very good with the stuff.

I was extremely pleased with this comapny and the total experience. The office representative was very helpful in setting up the consultation/estimates and the installation scheduling, as well as helping with other deatils. The plumbing crew arrived on time. They were polite, neat, professional and thorough in both the installation and the clean up. The new hybrid/tankless Eternal brand water heater (one of three they recommendned) has performed beautifully. I am very happy that I went with this upgrade in my home water heating system and extremely happy with Goode.

Mike, the owner, stopped by within the window he was supposed to arrive. It was on the later end of the window, but can't really complain about that. We walked through the house and I showed him everything that needed fixing. Much of the stuff he was able to check out as I was showing him and fix it on the spot. Mike fixed everything very quickly and cleaned up when he was done. The price was a little more than I anticipated, but for the quality of work done and the feeling that I was working with a responsible professional, made it worth it. Thanks Mike. I will definitely call you again if I need to but I hope I dont have to.

I called Goode plumbing on Thursday morning to set up an estimate to install our new kitchen faucet. I was told that there was a possibility that some time would open up that afternoon as they would be in our area. Sure enough, I received a phone call that someone could stop by and provide an estimate. I was given a 15-minute window (!) and exactly on time, the plumber (Michael) showed up. From the first moment, he was professional (courtesy call at arrival, introductions, booties at the door, mat laid down before work conducted, EVERYTHING cleaned up post job), very nice and did excellent work. He quoted the job up front, including the time frame, and that is exactly what I paid and how long it took. He took away the old faucet and boxes for the new faucet. While this was a fairly straightforward job, the competence exhibited at every step clearly suggested that more complicated plumbing work would not be a problem. I will use Goode Plumbing again and highly recommend them.

We were very pleased when the plumber showed up early for his scheduled 8 am service appointment. He was actually 1/2 hour early, but waited in his truck until 5 minutes to 8 and then rang our doorbell. He was very polite and professional and was very familiar with our Angie's Deal. However, after assessing both jobs that needed to be done, he advised that a different coupon available on the site would actually offer us more savings! We were able to print it out and used that instead. He quickly took care of the culprit sponge in the toilet, having to remove the toilet to get it out. Everything was put back together and cleaned up nicely. Next came the outdoor faucet. This was more complicated and needed additional parts that he did not have on his truck. So he suggested that he would just run to the nearby Home Depot to get the part and be back shortly. We agreed, and off he went. The Home Depot is literally 5 minutes from our home. He was gone for an hour and a half. We were getting a little worried, when he finally drove up to our house again. Since it was around lunchtime, we assumed he had stopped for a bite to eat, but it would have been nice to know that. Instead we were waiting at home all that time! He offered no reason for the long delay, but just continued with his work. The faucet was repaired and tested and was in perfect working order when he was done. We also asked for an estimate on replacing our hot water heater. It is a standard 40-gallon gas hot water heater. The plumber explained how they use only brass fittings, all copper piping, etc, etc. And then he gave us a quote of $1454.50 if we purchased a standard vent Bradford White gas hot water heater from them and have them install it, and $878.50 if we purchased our own water heater and they only do the install. We thanked him for the estimate, paid him for the repair, and he left. Now that estimate seemed pretty expensive, and the repair cost was rather steep too. ( $490.00 even with our Angie's List discount) .We ended up buying a very good Whirlpool water heater (based on a Consumer Reports' Rating) from Lowe's and having it installed by their contractors. All for $ 785.00. They did a great job, were in and out in less than 2 hours, and we've had no problems at all. I think Goode Plumbing is a reputable establishment, but their prices are very high.

They are professional, and I highly recommend them. I didn’t feel it was overpriced. He explained everything, and didn’t try to pressure us. They cleaned up after themselves, and it was a good experience..

Plumber was very knowledgeable and very skilled. He diagnosed the problem in no time. He was courteous and straightforward .

Update: Apparently the $300 charge was for something the phone rep thought I needed, In the end the owner called me to find out what had happened, and I described to him what happened about the cost of the quote, We worked it out, I don't know if I described my situation poorly or if the rep on the phone misunderstood me, but it was worked out in the end. After he described to me what the $300 inspection fee actually was, I can defiantly see where the misunderstanding came from. After they come out for the quote and/or hired to do the work I will update/rewrite this review to give a rating that Goode Plumbing deserves but as of now there is no bad info, I just don't see the delete button to delete a useless review.

OUTSTANDING! From the first visit to give me an estimate to the finished product, everything was perfect. The price was absolutely fair, the materials used were high quality and the workmanship is superb! Develle was the technician who worked on our project and I can't possibly think of how he could have been better. He was professional and thoughtful, even worrying about shoe covers every time I asked him to come in to the main part of our home for the paperwork. He explained in clear terms what he was going to do and why and after the work was completed made sure that I understood each element in the installation. I will definitely be calling upon Goode and Develle on future projects that I am already working out in my mind as I type this! I am always tentative about working with contractors and Goode and Devlle have now placed the bar that much higher for any other trades I call on non-plumbing jobs. Thank you Goode, your reputation is well-deserved and thank you, Develle, you're truly a professional.

Good, leak was found in the bathroom and fixed.

I gave a B for responsiveness because the first time I called I got the answering service. I did get a call back I believe from Mike to inquire about the service, he said he did not have his calendar at the job he was at and that he will call me back the next day which was Saturday. I never got a call back at all (I waited until Tuesday). I did call them back because of the good reviews they have received on Angie's list. This time I talked to the receptionist & she apologized & scheduled someone to come to the house. Bob came at the appointed time, inspected the flood system & discovered that the switch to the ejector pump was not working (probably shorted from the flooding). He said he has a pump available & could install now gave me the cost and even gave me the 10% Angie's list discount. He was professional & polite & did not mind that I was asking all kinds of questions. I would use them again in the future.

Ed was wonderful.! I will be requesting him for all my future plumbing needs. He fixed my toilet that many other plumbers could not figure out or did not wish to work on. It was a tricky process but Ed took the time to figure it out and get the job done right. He was such a pleasure to work with. He is very personable and takes a huge amount of pride in his work. Thank you Goode Plumbing, my toilet is beautiful!

Company was quite responsive when it came to scheduling an estimate and providing the necessary paperwork for the condo association. They were always punctual and were very patient when we needed to wait for the building maintenance supervisor and for water shutoffs. I believed that one of the valves was seeping a little at the connection after it was installed. It was such a small amount that I was unsure whether it was residual water or that the connection was a couple degrees short of being water tight. I called after hours and they got back to me quickly and offered to stop by later that evening to take a look at it. I declined as I was not 100 percent sure whether the valve was actually leaking or not. I'm actually still not sure if it is or not because because of the changing weather conditions and whatnot. I'm eventually going to have the sink installed (which I very well might use Goode for) so I'm not concerned about a small seep that can be looked at when that other work is done. Also, because the job took less time than they estimated they reduced the charges. The B for price isn't indicative of dissatisfaction with their pricing so much as it is with the cost associated with a relatively simple job. They charged pretty much what I would expected for the cost of a professional plumber.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. They didn't do as good. There were a couple of issues but we were able to work through them with the owner and we got everything taken care of. We probably wouldn't recommend them again. It was satisfactory. We hope there were no issues after we left. The work was done a couple of weeks before the closing on the house so we don't know about the value of the work. There was some confusion with the way the coupon was written or what the tech thought. My husband was under the impression that the coupon was worth something and the guy that came out said it wasn't. In the end the guy said he would honor it. We were able to get it resolved. In the end the price wasn't initially what he had said, we had to pay some additional but it wasn't really substantial. We probably wouldn't use them again.

Goode did the job professionally, on time, and exceeded all our expectations. The water pressure is great and the install was done with a minimum of intrusion or damage. Because the work was done while we were out of town Jeff kept us updated throughout via email.

Not good. They were too busy to assist me with drains in one of my buildings backing up on 2 floors.

I was happy with them. He was not able to solve the problem. He was here for over two hours. He said I could get a second opinion, but he didn't charge me any more than the Big Deal price. He had quoted me $250 for the routing and cleaning the drain. Since he was not able to solve the problem, he said he wouldn't charge me. I was happy with that. He said they could not figure out the problem unless they opened the entire wall up to see where the problem was. They gave me a nice appointment. The customer service and everything was very nice. I was very happy with that. You know, in those old houses, you never know what's inside. They came the very next day after I purchased the Big Deal. I cannot hold against them in any regard. They did their work. He did the routing, but it was still not clean. It was not draining well. It's not until he opens up the wall that he could do anything, and I was not ready to open up the wall.

Jeff came out to the house to discuss what we wanted done. He was very professional and friendly. We wanted the current water heater tank removed, replaced with a tankless system and a couple runs of unused natural gas lines removed. We have a small house and all plumbing fixtures are low flow. Jeff found a system with the lowest activation flow rate and came back with a helper to do the work in a couple weeks. They did the work in a day and cleaned up after themselves nicely. We are very happy with the new system and the work they did.

It was great. They were exceptionally responsive. One particular guy did all the work and then he became my personal plumber. The idea of contacting plumbers just scared me because they all say something different. I just felt like I was getting a very fair shake. The guy who worked on my stuff was named Develle Wilson and he was awesome. These were all done on four different visits. One to evaluate, and then, each of the items we took separately, in order.

The representative they sent to my home was fantastic. They made special arrangements to meet my schedule which was greatly apprectaied. 'Cadillac' was professional timely and very knowledgeable. I definitely walked away with a better understanding of what I can do in order to help guarantee the integrity of the pipes in my home and he left me with a series of things to watch out for which is exactly what i was looking for. We will be using their service again in the future.
