The shower was overflowing. Mike was honest about the repair, saying the tile might need to be removed and more work might need to be done however, he worked on it very hard and did several other small things in the condo and all turned out perfectly. No further help needed! I respected his honesty and his perseverance to fix the problem! Which he did! Excellent job! Additionally, he fixed a couple of faucets and gave me his opinion on some work that needs to be done by a contractor. And, he recommended a fair and honest contractor. I highly recommend Mike and his company. There was a slight mix up at his office, which wasn't a big deal. He called me back immediately and handled it directly himself. He came over at my convenience asap. I apologize that this review is written with delay however, that shouldn't take away the fabulous work and respect I have for Mike and Goode Plumbing! Mike and his company are a rare find! Choose them for all that they do! Highly recommend!

I did not get any communication from the company or the service person. I later called to check on the cost if they would like to do the work. I was told by the service guy that he already did the job for $305. First, I don't understand how could you charge $305 for a stop valve, and Second, how could you do the work and charge me without me say yes. I know this is Chicago, but that is pretty bad even for Chicago standard.
Description of Work: I have them to look at putting a gas stop valve for gas range for my rental property and I was told they will send a person to look at it and then letting me know the cost.

I believe this review is not supposed to be for Goode Plumbing-I believe you may have mixed us up with another company. Here are the reasons I am confident that this is the case: 1) We have no record in our database or file for this Member 2) The address that was submitted by the Member is in Long Grove, IL-which is well outside of our normal service area. 3) The issue that you mentioned is DEFINITELY not our policy. While I cannot say if the price that was given to you because I have not seen the work involved(since I think you had another company out!), I can tell you that it is definitely not our policy to go to someone's home if the owner is not there, do the work, and leave a bill without every talking to you. We are known for our up front pricing. There are occasions that someone will call us out and have a relative or friend let us in, but our policy is to call that homeowner to let them know what the situation is. If that homeowner can not be reached, we try to get in touch through the person letting us in. I apologize for your poor experience here, but again, I think you have us mixed up with another company. Thank you, Mike Goode

6/18/14 - I called Goode plumbing to give me an estimate on burying a sump pump pipe. Mike came to my house at the right time/date of our appointment and was friendly. He took a look at the pipe to be buried. I then asked him to level three toilets. He leveled the toilets and said he would take off $40 from the price of the toilet leveling if I used his company to bury the pipe. I decided to use a water proofing company to bury the pipe, but I would use Goode plumbing for any plumbing issues in the future. 8/1/14 review - Mike gave me an excellent price. He did a great job! I would trust him to do any plumbing work that was needed to be done in the future.
Description of Work: 6/18/14 review - Caulked and leveled three toilets. 8/1/14 review - Mike came out to flush my water heater. He also connected my new refrigerator with a copper pipe and installed a new faucet in the bathroom.

Upon seeing this review, I did contact this Member, as I did send him the estimate soon after my visit. In fact, I sent a follow up email about a week later but did not hear back. I will say that we probably should have called him too, just to make sure he received the email. Upon seeing this and contacting the member, he said that he did not get my email, but since he was pleased with our initial meeting he would consider hiring us instead of the other company. I resent the price and hope we can work on his project. I am not sure what the issue was regarding the email, but we are going to make it our policy to do a follow up call with our customers in the future to make sure they receive it.

We called Goode Plumbing as we knew they were in the neighborhood and had seen their VW work busses all around town. Everyone we dealt with was very courteous and responded in a timely manner. Mike installed a new pump right away and after testing it out, he found that there was a blockage in our main line that was likely the cause of failure of our existing unit. He took the extra time to clear the obstruction and get everything running like new. We will definitely be using Goode again for future plumbing needs. It is always refreshing to work with a company that is honest, does quality work and clearly takes pride in what they do. Goode Plumbing is one of those companies.

Thank you very much for your kind words! We were called out on a Saturday for this call as the Member had a sump pump that made it through the very heavy rains we had two weeks prior, but only just! It broke down and we found that it needed to be replaced. While we were testing things out, we discovered an obstructed house main drain, which most likely lead to the pump's ultimate demise. We covered the area in plastic to protect the carpet that was in the basement, and used a Rigid K1500 drain cleaning machine to remove the obstruction. We then retested everything which we found to be in good working order. Since the drain ran under the driveway, and the Member was having his old driveway replaced, we recommended a camera inspection of the drain line to check it's condition, which we returned to complete today. My plumber Brian found an issue in the drain that we are going to take care of before the new driveway goes in.

Goode Plumbing is great. They are now my go to plumber. My water heater stopped working. I looked on Angie's List and liked what I saw about Goode, as well as Keri's AMAZING customer service on the phone, but they didn't have any appointments in the next few days, so I thought I would try somewhere else. I guess that I should have taken it as a sign that, when you're good, you're busy. Instead, I called Baethke (also on Angie's List) and had a ridiculously bad experience. Since this is not a review for that company, suffice it to say that they are thieves and shamefully tried to take complete advantage of me - very smarmy. So back to Goode. I decided to trust my gut and wait it out until they were available. I'm so glad I did because they immediately diagnosed the problem with a fairly certain idea that they could fix it for less than the service call along of "the other company". If their proposed solution did not fix the problem, they would deduct the cost from the next potential solution, which was to replace the water heater. They also warrantied their work for 60 days, so that we could try the fix and if it didn't hold for 60 days, the deal still stood. Amazing! So far, so good (knock on wood), and I have been so very impressed by their customer service and work ethic that they have earned a client for life who will also happily refer them to friends and family. Thanks, Keri and Mike!

Being new members to Angie's List, we made several estimate appointments with highly rated service providers so that we could receive many perspectives on our plumbing issues. With regard to selecting a secondary sump pump and battery back-up system, we also thoroughly researched options/reviews on the internet and called local providers of plumbing equipment to hear their opinions. Mike Goode, the owner of Goode Plumbing, came out personally to listen to our concerns, inspect our situation, and provide us various solution options (with estimates). Mike's genuine concern and professionalism were evident from the moment we welcomed him into our home and he put booties over his shoes. As his website says, Mike takes customer care very seriously, and he took ample time to not only educate us on the plumbing of our new house, but also to explain the reasoning behind the different options we might choose to address our issues. When we told Mike we were interested in a premium sump pump arrangement to protect us from flooding issues, Mike's recommendation made perfect sense given everything we'd already researched, so we ultimately decided to choose Goode Plumbing for our job and made an appointment for when my wife and I finished our respective school years. However, Murphy's Law struck our household and our primary pump failed after a heavy rain, and I woke up one morning to find our utility room covered with 1/2" of water and water seeping into the carpeted area of our basement. I immediately texted Mike pictures of our alarming situation and he immediately called me. We talked throughout he issue and he managed his teams' appointments that day so that Goode could help us out. A few hours later (after another company had removed the excess water and damaged carpet), Brian and Jose arrived to install two new top-grade (highly reviewed) pumps with a digital controller I had already purchased. Brian and Jose also rodded our window well drain without trouble. Due to the emergency timing of their visit, Brian did not have time to retrieve and install the battery back-up system. However, Mike Goode personally returned at our pre-arranged appointment time a few days later to install the battery system, cut out a nice cover for the sump basin, and repair the two smaller issues we had with a shower head and bathtub faucet. To sum up, Goode plumbing did not simply complete a project for a paying client, but instead earned the appreciation and trust of this family who will be a repeat customer when the need arises. Others can have confidence in the workmanship and professionalism of Goode Plumbing.
Description of Work: Having just moved into our new home, my wife and I wanted to resolve several plumbing issues. First, we had a window well drain which we discovered was severely clogged with mud/debris and needed rodding to clear the obstruction. Secondly, we wanted to have a secondary sump pump installed next to our primary sump pump in our basement utility room to protect the finished portion of our basement in case of primary pump failure. Moreover, we wanted both pumps to be monitored by a digital controller (to reduce the likelihood of pump malfunction) and also wanted a battery back-up system installed that would power both pumps during a power outage. Finally, we had a "leaky" shower head and bathtub fixture that needed repair/replacement.

Thank you so very much for this review! My team and I truly do appreciate our customers and it shows that this Member appreciates our service in return. I really do love making our customers happy. I have had experience with lousy service before, and vowed to do the opposite of what I was seeing and experiencing not only in my own life, but in stories customers told me with their past experiences with other companies. As this Member stated, I was out myself to look at some items and come up with a plan that I felt would take care of this home's sump pump issue. He agreed to have the work performed, and we set a date up. Prior to that, he had a sump pump fail, so we shuffled some things around and got him in the same day ( I do my absolute best to make this happen for emergencies like this!), and got a new primary and back up sump pump installed, along with an Ion float system that he provided. We also installed new check valves and appropriate piping, and rodded the drain for his window well. Brian and Jose made some other suggestions on how to upgrade his pump basin as well. Now that his emergency situation was handled, we set up another date to install a battery back up system and take care of a few small items. Those were completed and tested. It was pleasure working with this Member, and we appreciate both the work and the review.

Part 1. Preamble: Several months ago I asked Goode to send a plumber to check a slow leak at the flush pipe between the tank and the bowl of an antique toilet in a Daniel Burnham Firm installed toilet, c. 1910. It took a while and a call back by me to Goode, and someone came. The receptionist said she had wanted a particular plumber for the job and he was not available at first. Seemed knowledgable, said he'd look for a pipe that would fit, asked what finish, and left. I do not remember if the $59 visit charge was requested but remember a yellow carbon. Several months later, not having heard back, I called Goody again. Same receptionist and she remembered the job but not the plumber's name and could not find an invoice. (So maybe he did not charge for the visit.) SHe sent a plumber called Brian. I explained to Brian that I had mostly antique fixtures that I wanted to repair and preserve, because the house is a landmark house and some of the fixtures put in by a famous architect, Daniel Burnham. I said I did not want to replace any of the appliances but to repair them. I showed him the old toilet. He refused to consider repairing in because the porcelain had fine cracks in it, due to the liability. I pointed out that the tank and bowl had no cracks. They only were on the pedestal and were unrelated to the leak. He insisted the toilet had to be replaced to the tune of almost 900 dollars, despite the fact that it was working and had always worked better than the two new toilets in the house. The leak was a tiny area of slight moisture at the pipe juncture with the tank. As the first plumber had said, the joint was corroded, not surprisingly after about 100 years. I showed the plumber the other problems. A new Toto toilet did not flush properly unless one held down the handle. I explained that an article on do-it-yourself in the Trib had explained that this kind of problem meant that the toilet needed an adjustment. Did this plumber consider that? No, he claimed that a piece in this (new) toilet needed to be replaced. Another old toilet also had a leak at its flush pipe, an active leak that had been repaired ten years before, successfully until just now. This one he said could be repaired to the tune of 500 dollars. He wanted to replace everything in the tank (all of which functioned fine). I felt the old, sturdy parts that worked better than the new toilet's parts should not be changed. Then I showed him the water heaters in the basement, because my sink faucets' hot water had become progessively feeble over the last few months, and I guessed that calcium deposits, which build up more in hot water piping than cold, had narrowed the channels from the hot water heaters. The hot water heaters, however, were working well, producing more than enough hot water for simultaneous showers and baths in the four bathrooms. When there at the heaters, I (not the plumber) noticed a slight, slow red thick leak from a fitting on one of the water heaters and asked that, in addition to checking the hot water pipes for debris, he include a repair to close this small leak. There was a small damp patch at the base of the heater, possibly from the spring rains or from this leak or some other leak, he suggested but did not investigate for another leak. What he did was suggest that the heaters be replaced (despite the fact that they were producing plenty of hot water overall) to the tune of more than 3,000. His estimate for cleaning and repairing the pipe that might have been the cause of the slow hot water in the sink faucet and stopping up the small leak was 265 dollars. We went to the kitchen sink, where the hot water of the faucet had, as in the other sinks, become feeble due to some kind of blockage in the hot water pipe. The disposal was old and not a high-end one, which works, though not very efficiently. His response, (you can probably guess) was to install a new one to the tune of 745 dollars. His estimate for fixing the feeble hot water faucet was $160 but he only gave the estimate when I requested it after he proposed the replacement. I reiterated to this plumber that I did not remove and replace appliances that were working and that had long worked better than more recent ones. All I wanted was to get the repairs done to the existing fixtures. But this plumber simply was not interested in such repairs and when I asked for certain estimates said that he had not looked at the problems carefully enough to diagnose them and estimate the repairs. Wow. What a mismatch of customer and serviceman. And what a contrast between the conclusions of two different plumbers of the same company within a few months. And note that I had had to really keep at Goody and I still do not have the replacement pipe for the toilet repair that was my reason for getting in touch with Goody. I should say that prior small plumbing repairs by Goody were fine and not exhorbitant, except that one plumber did not take his shoes off or put on show slipcovers, so he left dark foot prints on the white bathroom rug. I'm hoping Goody can figure out which plumber was the one who said he would get a replacement pipe to fix the Burnham toilet. Part 2. Mr. Mike Goody himself came to do the first part of the work: the seal the leak in my upstairs guest toilet, replace the flapper in the other upstairs guest toilet, and see about the hot water blockage some sinks were experiencing. That work is going on. I think it's being done well are carefully,
Description of Work: Part 1. One plumber came to check a corroded flush pipe and left to search for one that would fit. Said they would call when he had it. No call ever came. Maybe he did not find one. I called Goode back after a few months to find out what happened. They sent another plumber. He looked at the toilet and some other problems and gave me estimates. He mostly ignored the repairs I sought and proposed multi-thousand dollar replacements! Part 2. After my first review, Goody Plumbing got back in touch with me and scheduled a visit by the owner, who came a reviewed the situation. He then proposed what repairs to do, with alternatives, and I agreed to the proposal, with the possibility to decide about certain replacements. That work is now going on.

I am very sorry that you felt that you received a middling experience with us on this latest visit. My plumber, Brian, told me about the call at the end of the day, and my plan was to call the member up and get more information the next morning, but she had already posted her review. From talking with Brian, who I can say with complete confidence, is a stellar plumber, I felt-and so did he-that she had an unusual home with some semi-unusual requests. Brain felt that she may want to talk to a plumber who has half of his employees driving restored forty plus year old Volkswagen vans, and is considering using a restored 1931 Ford Model A for his primary means of transportation. I think he meant me, so I called her up in the morning, and we did get an appointment set up a time to have me come out personally to have a look. Starting with the first toilet-it WAS indeed cracked at the bowl as Brian told her, and if there was ever an issue with the bowl, it would most likely not survive being removed. I did agree that the tank could be rebuilt, and quoted her a price, but advised her to keep in mind, that after that investment, if there were ever a leak from the bowl, things could start getting expensive. The Toto toilet she has was not great even when new. The article in the Tribune mentioned would not fix the issue, as a special modification that I came up with accidentally some years ago, is the answer to IMPROVING this unit. It will still never be a great flushing toilet, as many of Toto's other toilets are, but I do agree that we can improve things somewhat. The other vintage toilet mentioned, is something that I agreed was in good condition and worth repairing. The water heaters that she has are more than twice as old as the average life expectancy for water heaters. Yes, they may still be providing plenty of hot water, but they need maintenance as sediment that is in them is causing other issues she mentions in her review as well as other pressure issues we found during our walk through, and several connections were made using improper materials by a plumber in the past. When one starts working on these nearly quarter of a century water heaters, there is a risk that they may need replacement rather than repairs and there may be no choice if something breaks while doing this work. I agree with Brian, that these should be replaced, but I did offer a price for repairs as she asked. Most of these items that were mentioned in the Member's review were in marginal condition. My plumber was looking out for her best interest and was trying to advise replacement rather than repair. Realistically, she would be better off following his recommendations. HOWEVER, I do GET that there is an emotional attachment to certain things-be it vintage cars, vintage plumbing fixtures, etc, that cannot be rationalized monetarily, and because of that , I did complete this estimate with repairs and restoration in mind , and hope that I can work with the Member to help get these old plumbing fixtures working properly again so they will keep going for another ninety or hundred years-except for the 1992 water heaters. If those were 1932, different story-but 1992, should be replaced!)

I had a leak in one of the water heaters in my 2-flat (each apartment has its own water heater). A service person came the next morning, and although was very nice, friendly, and really liked to help, he worked the whole day trying to find the problems and figure out how to service unit (Smith). The leak turned out to be from the pressure valve, which was very easy to fix and a common problem. I also asked him to clean and service the two units, which he said that he did. The charged me $405 for the service (after Angie's list discount), which was reasonable. The next day I discovered that when I turned on the hot water in the third floor apartment shower, it took about 5 minutes before the water became hot enough to use as a shower. Prior to the service, I had immediate hot water. I called them and they sent another technician right away, one who was more skilled and knew what he was doing. He replaced several connections, which apparently had deposits, but did not tell me in advnace that the additional work will cost me another $615, I was stunned when he gave me the bill - the total service of servicing two water heaters came to be $1021 ($405 for the first time they came to service, and $615 second time). Since he did the work without letting me know ahead of time the cost (when he came the second time), I have no way of knowing how it would compare and what could be the cost if someone else did the work all in one day. It seems to, however, that the amount paid was far too much for the work that was done. Although at the end, the work was done correctly and I now have immediate hot water as I had before, it should not have taken two days and over $1000 to service the unit. I also had him replace a part in the shower valve, which was $150 not including the part (I supplied) but he told me the cost in advance.

I apologize if you had a less than stellar experience with us. I am going to call you tomorrow morning to discuss a way to make things a bit more fair for you-every customer is very important to us and I want to see if we can work things out a bit better for you. ' Our initial visit was, as indicated for a water heater that had a leak-but it also not functioning properly. He did some testing and replaced the relief valve. While he realized this was the source of the leak, he spent time to make sure there was not a deeper cause-something that made the relief valve, which is a safety device, discharge. He also discovered an issue with the gas control valve, which he repaired so that all was functioning properly again. Since we had the the water heater off, the issue of hot water taking five minutes to reach it's source was not detected initially. Because of that extended time, the member did call us back. My second plumber, who was now able to test the water heater and related components to determine why it took longer to reach the farther away fixtures, noted a clogged recirculation line check valve. This may have happened while the water was shut off initially and then turned back on, but it was caused by sediment and corrosion in the piping. This plumber replaced that part, and completed some additional repairs. While this was not caused by us, I do agree that we should have given you the price up front as per our policy. I do apologize for any inconvenience, and will call you as promised so that I can see what we can do to regain your trust. Thank you, Mike Goode

Setting the appointment was straightforward and easy with a few days notice. The plumber arrived on time, and quickly set to work diagnosing the issue. After disassembly, he discerned that a sort of connecting collar had been field cut a few threads short on the original installation (gut renovation 3 years ago), and had simply worked it's way loose. The replacement part would not have been readily available that day, but he did believe it could be repaired and work properly for some time. He offered that I could choose to order the part and have it installed upon arrival, or simply stash it for when it's needed (I elected to order it directly from Waterworks and stash it for now). He recorded the correct part information on their work order, to keep that information with the records if needed in the future. After re-assembly a test on the water temperature was run to check the calibration. The control lever has worked properly since the repair, so all good for now. It was fortunately a fairly simple job, but done well and within a reasonable amount of time.
Description of Work: The plumber disassembled, diagnosed and repaired the hydrostatic temperature control lever for the shower. The control lever had worked it's way loose, beginning to spin too freely and no longer proving precise control.

Thank you for the review as well as the service call. We do appreciate your having us over for the valve and handle repair. I do believe the quality rating here was based on the fact that we repaired, rather than replaced the part, although a replacement part has also been ordered, at the customer's option. I am glad that things have worked well since the repair, and you also have the benefit of the additional replacement on hand.

Everything was smooth. They worked with us to find the right water heater at the right price for us, and installation was smooth and professional. Goode Plumbing does an excellent job of making sure their work is high quality and done right. The toilet repair was done over two days. They were able to shuffle their technicians to get someone at our house the next day after I called. They returned the following day to finish the repairs with additional parts for our specialized toilets. The technicians were courteous and professional, and we are confident we have high quality parts and strong workmanship for the installation. The next time we need plumbing services Goode Plumbing is getting a call.

It went great. The shutoff valuve that i had was ancient and starting to leak. They replace that and rerouted the copper pipe for better support and a cleaner appearance. It was fast and well done. My only beef is the cost. It wasn't a ton of work or materials. One shutoff valve and I'm pretty sure he reused most of the pipe that I had. Maybe 6 or 7 feet total. 3 or for elbows. This seemed a bit pricey but I was told that they have "pricing structures and this is two jobs not one (shutoff and pipe reroute). Probably should have pressed him on it, but I didn't.
Description of Work: Came out for an estimate to replace the copper pipe going to one of my outside hose. Replace the shutoff valve and the copper pipe. Rerouted it for a cleaner appearance.

It went great. They let me know that the pipes were all in working order and that the cause was something very common and easily fixed. The caulk around the edge of the tub was seperated and letting a small amount of water seep down the side of the tub and onto the ceiling. The plumber was straight with me and said, "You can do this for 5 bucks on your own". He directed me to home depot for some tub caulk and a caulking tool. A couple hours later, no leak. Just had to pay for the estimate.

Thank you very much for having us out to work on your home. As the member indicated, there were several issues we took care of. The kitchen sink had a leak, but the drain work was also configured improperly. I removed all of the tubular drain work and replaced it with new, high quality 17 gauge brass of a new, correct design. There was also a leak in a copper water supply line, so we cut a section of it out and replaced it with new, type L hard drawn copper tube and new fittings. The homeowner also fixed a toilet himself and asked us to have a look and it appears that he did it properly-nice work! Lastly, a loose faucet in a bathroom needed positioning and securing. We also appreciate your taking the time to write a review here!

We have used Goode Plumbing in the past for plumbing problems and they have always been professional and reliable . This particular repair was quick and relatively painless --I initially thought the problem would require more work. They could have overbilled me but did not --very trustworthy.

Thank you for the review! In this case, one of our plumbers, Develle, had to remove an obstruction. He was able to do this without removing the fixture, so it was a relatively minor repair. I am glad that it was painless for you and that we were able to get things resolved. We also appreciate your loyalty and this review.

The installation went well. The plumbing work was done very well. There was an initial issue with the the electrical tied to the garbage disposal unit, but in time Goode Plumbing was able to address the issue and everything ended up working great. Good reliable plumbing work.
Description of Work: The provider had to replace piping under a sink and remove an old metal trap attached to it. They also installed a garbage disposal.

EXCELLENT! I had Goode out 3 different times for 3 separate projects. They earned my business from the 1st experience and a loyal customer fem us for the consistency of their quality, pricing and professionalism. I have NO reason to use anyone else. They're fair, describe the work required in laymen's terms and advise on options with rationale to ensure your fullest expectations are met (price and solution). The price was fair and they guarantee work for 2 years! They're busy so I did have to schedule an appointment further out than I wanted to BUT, it was well worth the wait. I suspect, Goode Plumbing is busy for obvious reasons! They're excellent!

Thank you for the kind words as well as the loyalty expressed with your repeat business! As mentioned, we have done several items for this member. Most recently, we removed a old drum type bathtub trap and replaced it with a modern P trap, and rodded the drain line so things are flowing well again. we were able to do this with no damage to the floor in this case, going through the ceiling from below instead.

I recently purchased a home that has a relatively uncommon European-style toilet with an in-wall tank system. It needed a minor repair and Goode Plumbing was the third plumber that looked at it, but the only one who knew what it was and how to repair it. Mark Goode was great - he knew what to do and where to get the parts to fix it that day. He also replaced a broken disposer in my kitchen and pointed out that the sink was not secured to the countertop correctly - something that I would not have noticed but that I can now correct before bigger issues arise. Pricing is not the cheapest, but I believe you get what you pay for and I thought it was more than fair for the service provided. Goode Plumbing will now be my go-to plumber of choice and I would highly recommend them to others.

Thank you for the review. We truly appreciate it. We also grateful for the work! In this situation, we did replace the disposal with a new, high quality unit with a 6 year warranty. The other item, as mentioned, was a somewhat unique toilet (we have installed and serviced a number of these units in the past ten years or so), where the tank is held in a bespoke mounting assembly concealed in the wall. It required some new parts, which we were able to locate in stock. After some additional adjustment, we had the toilet working properly again. As I mentioned, we have experience with these and other unusual plumbing fixtures. Occasionally, we come across something that we have not seen before, but we do possess the patience and willingness to figure things out so that that fixture is working as it should when we are done.

We had just purchased a new home and had identified many misc. small items such as leaking faucets, improperly installed items, a hot water tank that had not been cleaned in a long time, etc. We gave this large list to Mike and he came out to check on them and gave us an estimate. He arrived on the day that he said he would, got it done in less time than required, and reduced his billing appropriately. Further, while he was around, he showed the attention to detail mentioned in other reviews - we had various trivial items such as faucets that did not turn off exactly at vertical, etc. and he just repaired them as he was going along anyway. It's been a couple of weeks, and we couldn't be happier with his service. He's not the cheapest plumber on Angie's List, but his professionalism and careful attention to detail in his work will make even the most obsessive compulsive personalities smile.

Thank you for having us over to do complete the inspection and repairs. This Member recently purchased this home, so I went through his list, and found a few additional items that needed some attention as well. I completed various faucet repairs, serviced the tankless water heater, rodded a few fixture drains, etc. I appreciate your compliment, and while I think we have covered everything in your home so that you should not need me for some time, I do hope you will keep Goode Plumbing in mind when a plumbing issue does arise.

Develle came out twice to fix my pipe. It had burst in seven places! He worked very hard and diligently and I am grateful to him and Goode Plumbing that he was able to make all the repairs. I would like to add that Develle did these repairs that made another plumber in my town run away when he saw what needed to be done. Thanks, Develle!

It was indeed one brutal winter that we had. We are still getting calls for fixtures that are not used during colder months, such as outside hose faucets, that homeowners are now discovering leaks at due to damage from freezing over the winter. We appreciate your having us over to help with the burst piping, and for your taking the time to review us here.

Thank you very much-we do appreciate your loyalty. I do apologize if an adjustment was needed-of course, we do our best to make sure things are done right the first time! On that rare occasion that something needs an adjustment, we make it a priority to get it handled promptly. Most recently, our plumber, George, was over to repair a shower valve and removed an obstruction in a shut off valve. We also appreciate the review!
