They were prompt and courteous. They cleaned up very well. I was very happy with the results!

It went well once I convinced them that the flange was the problem. (I had seen it was cracked much earlier.) The plumber removed the toilet to confirm the broken flange, then went to the hardware store to buy the piece. He wasn't gone too long considering it was rush hour. The flange was replaced and everything reassembled quickly. No more leak.

George was great - very professional and informative. Everything works perfectly. I would highly recommend him to others and will absolutely call him for any future plumbing needs.

Working with them was very good. Scheduling and communication were also both good. The pricing was commensurate with the amount of work completed.

Scheduling was fine. The plumber was very professional and polite. He provided a 2-hour window and arrived in that period. They did not honor the Deal amount as the Deal was expired so he will be sending a bill for this most likely.

I contacted Goode Plumbing because my hot water was running very slow in my kitchen. I also had a leak in my existing faucet so I wanted to replace it. I also knew that the cold water shut off valve was as old as the house and the threads were worn so it needed to be replaced. Carrie set up an appointment for me between 8 AM and 11 AM. She asked if I had the faucet and I advised that I did. The day before the plumber was to come, I was called to confirm the appointment. The plumber arrived at 8:30 AM. The first thing he did was take a look at the hot water pressure and the shut off valve under the sink. He then went to his truck and obtained the bucket and tools that he needed to do the work. He detached the faucet hose from the hot water valve and tested the pressure. The pressure was good, so the problem was in the faucet connection. He then turned to the cold water shut off valve. We had to do a complete shut off of the water in order to replace it. When he completed that replacing the shut off valve, he then installed the new faucet. Since the new faucet was considerably taller than the existing one, he measured it to make sure it would fit and not hit the bottom of the cabinet above before he removed the existing faucet. Once he finished putting in the new faucet, he did a clean up and finished at approximately 10:30 AM. Right after he left I started to put my kitchen back together and I turned on the faucet and no water was coming out. Water came out when the plumber was here. I panicked. I called Goode and explained my problem. They told me they would get in touch with the plumber. He called and I explained my issue. I told him I tried everything and no water. He said he would come back. He arrived a little less than an hour after he left. Turns out, I did not know how to turn the faucet on. I apologized. However, it was not a totally useless trip. He found that the cold water pressure was not quite what it should be and I was able to give him better directions to get back to the interstate.

While they were responsive, every time I called their availability was two week?s out. I ended up finding a different plumber.

It went very well. They were very flexible with scheduling and the price of the service was reasonable.

As I recall, he came quickly and was responsive. We did not move forward with the Deal.

It turned out well. They were even able to take video to show there wasn’t leaking from my unit. We’ve used them several times. They were able to help and I was really happy that they gave me options and helped me with prioritizing the work. They’re my go-to plumber now.

They replaced the cartridge on the hot water faucet and both the knobs on the faucets.

Very professionally. The office was phenomenal; called me when they had a cancellation. I did not have to wait for them to come out on the first available appointment which was after he weekend. They came out with the cancellation on s Friday and I was able to use he sink and get laundry done over the weekend.

I called Goode Plumbing after finding water leaking through the ceiling in my basement from the bathroom above. I called at 12:45 pm on a Tuesday, explained the problem, and Carrie (who answered the call when I rang through) told me she would find who was available and would call me right back. She called back within 10 minutes to tell me that a plumber would be out by 1:30 that day. Eric arrived before 1:30. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. He asked some questions to help with focus and diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes. He explained clearly where the problem was, why it happened, what the solution was, and what the cost would be. (The final cost wound up being less than what he originally stated by $30-$50. Bonus!) He would have been done in about an hour from the time he arrived, but he had the company "loaner" van and not his regular van with its full stock of parts, so he had to go back to the shop for the part needed for repair. As it was, the total time spent on the actual repair was less than 1 hour, with total time from discovery of leak and initial phone call to completion of repair being about 2 hours. Once he completed the repair, and at my request, he provided a written estimate for other work which I want to have done but which I hadn't called a plumber for yet. The estimate is reasonable and very detailed. I will definitely be using Goode Plumbing for all of my home's plumbing needs in the future. My experience was excellent from start (Carrie listening intently and compassionately to me when she answered the phone) to finish (Eric diagnosing and fixing the problem without issue).

This is the second time in 2 months I've had them come out - for separate issues. They did a great job the 1st time, so I was happy to have them back. Once again, they were very punctual; in fact, Bob, the plumber they sent, called me nearly an hour early to see if he could come by then, as he'd finished with his previous call sooner than expected. Earlier worked fine for me, and he was there within minutes. The faucet replacement was done very efficiently, neatly and quickly. Bob was very pleasant (and put up with my nosy cat) and careful to use foot protectors in the house. Again - I'm very happy with the service and the price; I'll definitely call them next time I need a plumber!

the pipe to the exterior spigot of my house cracked. As a result, I had to shut off all water to the house. I called Goode on a Sunday afternoon looking for a Monday morning appointment. mike responded within an hour of my leaving a message promising to try to get me into the Monday schedule. Goode called the next morning confirming that I was on a waitlist to be serviced as soon as a technician became available. They called back shortly thereafter to confirm they were on their way. Brian from Goode arrived as promised. He thoroughly inspected the problem and explained his solution and pricing. He then executed the solution to perfection all the while explaining what was going on. When finished he even pointed out a couple of potential problem areas in the house that I hadn't noticed. In all, I could not be more pleased with the service that Goode Plumbing provided and I will certainly use them in the future.

Mike was just great! He was very professional, punctual and communicated everything the job entailed clearly in a friendly manner. I am very happy with the new water heater and the work he performed. I'm also thrilled to have a 'go to' plumber for all my future needs! Thank you, Mike~

This was quite an undertaking and took some time, as we were very much delayed by the city inspectors. All in all though I was very pleased with Mike and his team. Because it was such a big, expensive project, I sought a lot of quotes, and Goode was right there with a couple of other companies that have done a lot of these flood control systems in my neighborhood. Mike is super responsive and very customer-service oriented. My only issue is that my yard never really recovered from this process. It's important to remember that they are plumbers, not landscapers. The back fill process included filling the hole and re-sodding, which did take place. However, there was a lot of sinking and I had the guys out a couple times to add more soil and re-sod. What has still remained is a sunken spot in my yard where the system was put in. It's not a huge deal, but noticeable when looking. That minor issue aside, I would absolutely work with these guys again. We've had multiple rains since putting this in that have flooded the neighbors, and we've stayed dry. That along is worth the money we spent. While on the job all of Mike's employees were responsive and focused on making the customer happy. Don't hesitate to use them for your plumbing needs.

One worker comes out. They were there for about two hours. They are great. They have worked for a couple of other people. They are very honest.

I am comparing this service against the Scottish plumber. I called for a plumber to assess my problem. I have a leak in my basement and need to get someone to take a look and quote me a solution. The only vendor that has promptly come out and given me a quote has been the scottish pulmber and without charging me to do so. This place had somone answer the phone and actually say, "they may have to breakdown walls and ceilings" to find the answer and wanted a credit card right up front. Truly unbelievable! It would also take take 2 weeks to just have someon look at it. Does anybody want to work without screwing the customer anymore????????? All I want is somebody to quote the job. Scottish plumner did it with no problem and it took them about an hour to assess it. I have to wait 2 weeks for someone to do that from this company, Totally and absoultely unprofessional.

This was a very long, very loud, and very messy project, but the end result was well worth the ordeal. I am exceedingly happy with how the project went, from beginning to end, although there were a few speed bumps along the way. The first speed bump was that the old (1940 era) flood control system was so large and so difficult to remove that it took several days longer than anticipated. The positive aspect for me was that the owner, Mike Goode, visited to see how things were going and to discuss options related to the project. After a few days of work, the lead technician, DeVille, felt that the initial plan to use the space from the old, indoor, flood control system might not be the best option. He recommended an outside flood control system, at a higher price. When I conveyed to the project manager, George, that I needed to stick to my initial budget, the response was very positive. There was complete understanding by all involved, and the project resumed indoors as initially planned. DeVille and an ever-changing crew of people assisted in the process of installing the flood control system. The workers were always exceedingly professional and considerate. They also seemed to enjoy and take great pride in their work. They took time to explain things throughout the process. The bad part was that the project, which had initially been scheduled to be about a week long, took over 2 weeks for the initial installation. There was then an inspection process before a cover could be placed over the flood control system. This cover was not installed until nearly a month later, which meant that it was about 6 weeks all told before the project was completely finished. The good thing is that the communication was consistent throughout the process. George, the project manager, was calling or texting me about things on a regular basis. I was getting daily updates from DeVille on the status of the job. I always felt like I knew what was going on and what was being done next. This communication makes a huge difference for me and is why I will continue to contact Goode Plumbing for my future plumbing needs. On a side note, the lead technician, DeVille was such a great guy, he even sang Happy Birthday to my 12 year old daughter on his last visit, which was the day before her birthday. The request was made because he would routinely be heard singing while doing work in the basement. Thanks to Mike, George, DeVille, and the rest of the crew for providing me with a dry basement!!

I have had this toilet looked at and monkeyed with by several plumbers and handymen over the years. They all wanted me to replace it. Finally, someone who likes to repair vintage plumbing. Thank God for Mike. I didn't want to replace the toilet, than the floor, etc. I found the MAN for the job. He's professional all the way as you can see from the reviews. It took a long to clean to a shine and I am going to try to upload the pictures he sent me. What a lovely firm to work with.

Within the hour, Goode Plumbing responded to my emailed description of the job. The company explained that a landscaping company would be more appropriate. I wasn't sure which type of specialist to contact so I was grateful for Goode's guidance.
